Just a note about being small....keep a close watch on it. I was small for dates and had no other problems until around 38 weeks when my blood pressure was high, and protein was detected. Turned out I had un-diagnosed pre-eclampsia. I was induced and my little bundle arrived the same day.

For some being small is normal, and the babe is unaffected. For a minority of others like me it can be an indication of something else.

Everything turned out fine for me though, because I had great doctors looking after me.

rchddap1 - OMG, only just seen your signature and read your post on another board about your experience. So pleased that all is well now and you and oh trusted your instincts to go to A&E - thank God you did - a lesson for all of us new and soon to be mums. My little girl was born on 30 October, so only a couple of weeks older - can only imagine what horrors you went through. Huge hugs to little Lily.

Thanks everyone for your kind posts about my (third!) scan today. I am over the moon that it went well. there was a good heartbeat and I could see little one moving! :j Doc said I am 8+4 now, a long way to go yet but feeling more positive now....

Our babe's not due for another 3 weeks; sleeping's tough, and so is everything else, but I'm well.

I amended the list so KarieBlue was showing in EDD rather than probably given birth list.

Well, today's my due date, so in other words I can pretty much guarantee my baby will not be born for at least another week lol
