Good Morning Diary,
Nothing too exciting to report. Bank account looking ok. Have just under £30 to spend on shopping for the next 10 days which im sure I will manage!
Got a load of washing out to dry and will probably get another load done ready for tomorrow.
Still no quidco or Toluna voucher  and am currently 85p away from pureprofile payout so will be obsessing with that til it does pay out!
Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Mummy
My toluna voucher is still processing as well and thats from the 29th July.
Your day out sounds lovely, hopefully you'll get a nice day.
My grocery budget is now spent for the month until the 26th August, its worked well but I still need to watch the top up shops.
Have a good day xxx0 -
Hello Choo!!
My Toluna voucher is from 2nd July! They had better get a move on with it im fed up of checking! From memory my last one took 8 weeks .
Re the shopping this way has definately worked for me. I get paid on the 26th so im going to do the same again except im going to do the big shop myself rather than get delivered.
Last time Mr A c*cked up big time with my dishwasher products and im fed of having to complain to them. DH is off the 26th so im thinking I will let him have the car to ferry the kids where ever. Then after work I will walk to the supermarket (about 20 mins walk from work) do the big shop and ask DH to pick me up after. Im sure the trolley will get too full before I get to the £100 threshold (fingers crossed!).
Nothing else to report!! xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy
Things are sounding ok in MGT land! Sorry to hear that DH is unhappy in his job though, I know how that feels and it is not nice. Hopefully something comes up really soon.

I am seriously impressed with your disciplined approach to the grocery budget. Sorry to hear that DH is unhappy in his job, that's no fun. Is he looking around for anything else ?DC.

Morning diary,
10 days til payday woohoo!!!
Going to go do the shopping tonight on my very tight budget (spent another £4 in Sainsburys local last night which need adding to my total!) Going to have a good look around the reduced section or else I might overspend!
Thanks for popping by gap x
DC, DH has his last exam this week so once thats over with he will start looking I think. This way of shopping has really worked for me, only thing that has so far! So im going to keep on with it and see how I go!
So the weather has turned again! Thats my pink wash into the dryer as its absolutely tipping it down here. Have a whites wash to go in tonight and im off work tomorrow so will try peg out if possible. Im so worried about the weather coming a bit colder, hope we can hold out til October without the heating. It did feel a bit chilly downstairs this morning, best get the draft excluder back out for the front door.
I was thinking about the C word last night!! Really looking forward to it this year as last year was overshadowed by DH just finding out, a complete ban on spending money and the prospect of no job come April! We will still have debt but at least things are a lot more settled now and we have treats budget etc.
I wonder if Mr M's will do the £30 off voucher thing again, hope so as they really helped us last year. I think we got the whole christmas shop for about £24!
Right thats enough waffling now!! Catch up soon xx

Morning Mummy
The C word  I must admit I'm looking forward to it this year as like yourself it was overshadowed last year by the d wordI felt guilty spending money last year even though there was a budget for it. Somehow it just didn't sit comfortably, although it did make us focus more on what we were spending.
Its quite sad really but every time I think of Christmas 2010 all I think about is been really down and depressed about money.
Even this year I'll still be looking for bargains and keeping a tight rein on spending and using survey vouchers/cash wherever possible.
The weather here is showery again
Hope you have a good day xxx0 -
I never used to like Christmas. Not a Scrooge thing but I just didn't see the point as I could never afford to buy nice things for people and when I did it meant we didn't eat much for a bit and it was all just quite depressing. Over the past couple of years I have been really enjoying it and actually looking forward to it. I know that this year I will be in a better position than I have been even in the past couple of years and I am very much looking forward to it
I have sealed pot money (not sure of the total but will be ok) savings stamps for Mr M's and November and December's salaries where I don't have any big payments coming off.
 to Christmas!!

Morning diary,
Im glad everyones looking for to Christmas too !!
Gap, I have a sealed pot too only got £23 or something in it! Was saving that for DH's birthday in January!!
Well im now 55p away from a Pureprofile payout! Ive been screened out every survey which always happens doesnt it!
Just checking on the weather as ive got a load to go out, looks fairly clear so will get it pegged out once its finished.
Oh I think ive slightly overspent on my grocery budget . Had about £26 to spend, spent £31 in Mr T and then another £11 in the local farmshop. Will add up my receipts later and update the signature.
Right best get off and do something! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
