Aww Mummy, I'm sorry to hear that your DH is having a hard time at work. Its not nice to be somewhere like that, I worked for a couple of horrible bosses in the past and I hated every minute of it so I totally sympathise.

Its awful not been able to talk to anyone in the real world about the money situation but if you ever want to PM you know where I am xxxx

Hello All, thank you for all your comments re DH and work. Thanks for the offer of listening to whinging Choo, if it gets too much I know where you are x.

EE, he has emailed his old boss but unfortunately they replaced him quite quickly and they cant justify another cost at this moment in time. I had been praying he would say oh yes just come back, although I knew really in my heart that wasnt going to happen. I dont know what hes going to do. There are a couple of people coming up for retirement in 2-3 years at the old company but its been 5 months and he is this stressed out. I dont think he could cope with another 18-30 months of this! I dont think I could cope either!!!

Im sure everything will work out in the end, it always does doesnt it.

Aw I'm sorry to hear your news about DH. I really hope something comes up for him, you never know he might get a better job earning more money. I always like to think that something good is just round the corner.

Well done on your Jasper Conran Jeans...I love Debenhams designer things for DD and they are all very good quality.

    Afternoon Diary,

Just popping on for my daily catch up! Thank god its Friday but my word the weather here is awful today looking more like November than August. Its all foggy and damp and ive actually got my heater on at the side of my desk.

Nothing too exciting to report, DH seemed less stressed this morning and its the weekend now so should be ok.
Due to appauling weather have had to use the tumble dryer this morning and have another load to get dry tonight too.

Had an email that my Tesco exchange vouchers are on the way so thats all good re our day out.

Nothing too much planned for the weekend. DH will be revising for his final exam next week so its down to me to entertain the girls... lucky me haha!! Might take them to soft play on Sunday if the weathers still bad, cant have them cooped up all summer.

DD asked me yesterday when I next get paid haha!! I said 2 weeks why? (she is 4 btw!) she replied well we can get some sweets then!!! Cheeky little swine they get sweets every weekend!

Think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xx

  • Hi M2G, its grey and overcast here in Lancashire, but not raining so have sent the kids outside to play on their bikes, hopefully might blow some cobwebs away and stop them fighting.

    Hi Mummy,
Its actually a bit brighter here today, it has rained non stop all week. I have had my heater on at work every day, I managed to break my other one...think it was from over use.

Glad DH seems a bit brighter today, maybe his stress in the week was also partly due to exam worry? I hate staying in on a weekend with DD, she turns into a little s0d when she gets bored.

Good Afternoon diary, just sat down with a cuppa and some galaxy :D. Absolutely shattered been darting here, there and everywhere this morning.

Well my reward vouchers arrived this morning from Clubcard :j and ive booked DD a holiday off swimming so its probably going to be 2 weeks today we go.

Yesterday was NSD3, today is a spend day hopefully relatively low. Need to pop out to Tesco express for milk but take my remaining £4 in clubcard vouchers.

Livvy, haha to you breaking the other heater, I can imagine mine seeing some action this winter!!

Pennywise, hows the weather over your way? Ours is still overcast and has rained on and off. With 3 loads of washing to get dry ive had no option but to turn to the tumble drier.

Tonights tea is chicken kievs, chips and salad. I am absolutely starving as I skipped lunch with rushing around and my mum fed the kids for me.

Think thats about all from me. Catch up soon xx

Hello diary, cant believe its Sunday evening already! Where has the weekend gone?! Only 2 days to work and then a day off so nice to break up the week a bit.

Today has been NSD4 woohoo!!! 4 nsd's in a week, wonder if I can do the same next week?!

Just done the meter readings and weve used £27 in the past 2 weeks and are £75 in credit :T. So if top side we use £30 in the next 2 weeks when the next payment goes in we will be £45 in credit going into September. Very impressed with that.

Just got a load of washing in and got another to go in after. Think its going to be nice tomorrow although will check in a mo and save that to be pegged out tomorrow.

Choo, we are planning on going to the Wildlife park in the Lakes. A few people have recommended it over Chester Zoo saying you are more interactive with the animals ie feeding etc. Were about 2 hours ish away I think so we will set off early and come back in the same day. Saves booking in somewhere and also paying for the dog to stay somewhere. We will take a picnic and just buy some ice-creams (weather permitting!!)

Righty ho best get on. Kids to bath and get sorted for tomorrow. Catch up soon xx
