    Evening diary!!

Well today changed in what was going to happen! Didnt see my friend seeing her tomorrow instead.
Instead it turned from NSD8 into SSD! We took the dog for a walk round the local reserviour (not sure how to spell that) and I knew the ice-cream man would be there so we spent £6.75 on ice-creams. A cheap afternoon out and hopefully the kids will sleep well tonight!!

Pennywise, did you get your ebaying done? I had the pushchair out in the garden as the wheels were full of mud! Not sure where I last went with it! Washed the basket and footmuff in the washer and handwashed the hood for it. Its looking lovely now so ive put in the downstairs loo instead of back on the garage floor! Hope it sells, ive started it off at £5 so hopefully that will attract people in!
I sold DD1's pushchair on ebay for about £70 but it was in a lot better condition... heres hoping!! Il put any proceeds into the girls winter wardrobe fund.
The only bits ive got now are wintry stuff so il wait til it starts getting colder then il stick them on.
This will be me obsessed with checking my ebay for the next week :rotfl:!!

Just totted up my spends for the month and its better than June lets put it that way! But it was more than last July !

So ive had 7 NSD in July, need to aim for more in August.

Right gonna catch up with my surveys now xx

  • Morning mummy, yes managed to get 10 items listed and 2 items relisted as they didn't sell, did have a few more bits that i could of put on, but they are toys so i've decided that i will wait untill closer to christmas as i think i will get more for them then and the items are in good condition, so i didn't want to get next to nothing for them.
Fingers crossed the pram goes for a good price:).

Hope you have a good day.

    Good Morning Diary,

All is well in mtg's house, they slept in until 8.25 which is practically unheard of in this house! We must have tired them out yesterday so the £6.75 on ice creams was definately worth it!!

Just updating the bills spread sheet and ive made the 2 other credit card payments and we are still in the black, which never happens once the credit cards have been paid :j. We will not be back in the overdraft again, feels very good.
Ive also updated my signature and im just £144 away from sub £16k! Not sure how I could make £144 since all the proceeds from the sales of the kids stuff are going in their winter wardrobe fund. Mind you if I did make that much I might be tempted to borrow it and pay back later!!

Pennywise, hope your bits and bobs sell too. Ive already got 6 watchers on the pram but that doesnt mean anything really does it!

Well ive already cleaned the bathrooms and got one load of washing in. Its looking quite grey here today but I will push my luck and see what happens! Me and the girls are popping out but DH will be here so il ask him to keep an eye out for rain.

Right best get on! Catch up soon xx

  • I'm supposed to be working as I have so much to do but I am sat in the conservatory having puppy cuddles (to me just as lovely as newborn cuddles to you :D) as I am dog sitting while a friend of mine is away, ItsaDog seriously has her nose put out of joint but every now and again she let's her guard down and plays with them and I think the grumpy dog facade is must an act :p

I also have a big basket of ironing that has accumulated due to getting so much washing done and line dried over the weekend, but sitting in the sunshine on MSE is so much more relaxing. Although I think the chickens are trying to tell me something as the are all sat in a line against the fence making a racket (I bet they are out of food!), another member of this family who only wants me when it is in their benefit :o

I love soup for lunch, a great cheap and cheerful meal that really fills me up :T And another lunch I like is beans and scrambled egg on toast with marmite :D
    Just keep swimming!

Awww Itsa we saw the cutest rotweiller puppy the other week the kids were all over it! My dog wasnt the slightest bit interested in it!!
Haha to you dog being grumpy. Mine just doesnt like anything smaller than him and gets very grumpy!!
Sounds like you had lots of family members wanting your attention today. I like cheap and cheerful meals too, beans on toast is my favourite.

Well ive just done the meter readings a week early so I could get intime with the DD going in! This last week we had used £13.66 so under our usual amount which is good. I cant remember the last time I used the dryer though and now my dad has moved out too thats one less laptop and phone to be charged :T!!
Weve been outside most of today so the TV etc hasnt been on which is good.
Im £103cr on my bill which means hopefully by the end of the August if we carry on using say £15 a week we will still be £40cr.

Ooohhh just checked my ebay and theres now 10 watchers, knew id get obsessed with it!!

Right going to check the other diaries then hoover the living room. Ive just mopped downstairs to thats another job off the list.

    Afternoon diary,

Wow I feel shattered now ive just sat down!

Pushed my luck a little too far with the washing this morning... it got rained on! But I got back just before it bucketed down and now its in the tumble dryer for 20 mins to just dry it fully.

Just checked the bank accounts and thats just looking lovely! Also just been to the farmshop and spent a little more than budgetted due to having to buy a big bag of dog food (£10) and the 10 chicken breasts (£11) these will last over 2 weeks though and the dog is now fed for about 6 weeks! Im hoping to claw it back next week.

Oh I forget ive spent another £4 on getting the car washed this morning. It desperately needed it and I just hate washing the car! So I feel thats £4 well spent.

Oh and the pram has got 12 watchers!

Right think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xx

Washing the car is like cutting the grass, every time I go to do it, it rains! Yes, I would say that was £4 well spent :)

At least is is only 20 minutes in the dryer for the washing.

    Fingers crossed for the pram!

Wow I have spent some money today! All budgetted for but it still makes me jittery! £121 to be precise!

Just ordered DD's uniform online which will be delivered to the house. Also took her for her school shoes as I was worried Clarks would sell out of the ones I wanted for her. Then to farmfoods for bread, they have such good deals on Hovis bread that I got 4 loaves for £3. Really need to try and get down there when I can.

Off to do a survey now as ive had an email about a 500 pointer!! Catch up soon xx
