    Hi Gap,

well theres a little catch to the whole substitution thing which can work in your favour! Is they give you a better product which lets face it mine usually are cos I order Mr A's own brand for most things you only pay the Mr A price.

So once I ordered some Mr A nappies that they didnt have in stock. So infact they sent me a box of 100 pampers!! Cant complain at that. So I do kind of like the subs when it works like that :rotfl: xx

I ordered bubble bath from Mr S. It was their own for 55p. They didn't have it in that fragrance so sent me the same make but a different fragrance which was 99p and they charged me 99p  I have also heard stories of them substituting for completely different things.

I tried ebaying once. I am hopeless. I really did try hard but messed it up along the line (the blonde in me coming to the surface - again!) so am too scared to try it again. Good luck with it :)

    xx

Morning diary looks like its going to be a nice day here today. Bedding in the washer and will peg out... oh I love fresh bedding especially when its been line dried!

Right well I didnt get too far with the ebaying last night infact I didnt look :rotfl:!! I ended up doing the ironing for an hour and putting all that away.

Im hoping ive sold some of the kids old toys to a girl I know through facebook. Was planning on ebaying them but il probably get more this way anyway!!

Pennywise, hope you enjoyed your glass of wine.

Gap, I think theres only Mr A that does this with the subs that I know of anyway!! Mr S doesnt.
Ebaying becomes addictive, once you start you then look round the house for what else you can sell!!!
I always sell the girls old clothes off, well the ones that are half decent anyway.

Well me and DH are off out tonight which im looking forward to. Going to get the kids dressed and pop to Tescos for DD's school pumps as I know if I leave it we will be stuffed and wont get any!
Also need to walk into the village and pick up a prescription from the chemist.

Right think thats about all from me. Nothing too exciting for today!! xx

    Good Morning Diary!!

Looks like its going to be another lovely day. The girls are just playing out in the garden so thought id catch up.

Nothing to really report on the money side, will be paying the other 2 CC's next week so will update my signature and hit my 30% then too :j.

Yesterday I went to Mr T's and bought 2 cards, DD's school pumps, a present for my friends baby, a paddling pool and some sweets, spent £13 so not too bad at all considering there was a present in there too!!

Got 2 loads of washing dry yesterday and have got another load out today... my god im getting obsessed again with pegging out!!!

DH and I went out for food last night that was very nice too and we used some of the money dad had given us to pay for that.

Today I need to do the bathrooms as I didnt do them yesterday and just a quick hoover and polish. Will go visit my friend with the pressie and have some newborn cuddles! The kids want to come too so no doubt they will want a little cuddle too!

Oh I sold some of the kids old toys yesterday for £20 so have put that in a tin for the kids winter wardrobe fund. I have also got a £15 love to shop voucher ordered from Toluna so once that comes I will add that too... although im not sure where you can spend that in terms of kids clothes.

Rightyho think thats enough ramblings from me this morning! Catch up soon xx

  • I think you can spend the love2shop vouchers (for kids clothes) at Matalan, peacocks, mothercare i think New Look take them as well and they do kids clothes in the larger stores.

I'm also getting obsessed with pegging washing out and did all the bedding yesterday, including the dogs:p.

Morning pennywise! I washed the bedding yesterday too, love fresh bedding!

Thanks for the info the voucher, I think il probably go to Matalan. Our Peacocks doesnt have a kids section and I think my 2 are too young for New Look? Unless theyve changed their age range, ive not been in for about 5 years!

Il just buy then key bits and bobs as DD1 will be in her uniform most days and DD2 has got all DD1's old clothes to use too!!

Meant to say earlier im hoping the Tesco vouchers come out soon as id like to exchange mine for a day out at the end of August. Does anyone know how long they take to come once youve exchanged?

Its free listing on ebay this weekend so im going to take some pics of my old pushchair and get that on there. Its a silver cross so im hoping it will sell. DD2 is too big for it now and I just cant remember the last time I used it to be honest. Might aswell get it cleaned down in the garden whilst its nice.

  • Think the big New Looks have kids clothes from 5.

I need to get some stuff listed today on ebay its all piled on my dining table at the minute.

I ordered Tesco exchange vouchers last year for theme park, i think they took about a week to arrive.
