Well sub £16k is bloomin fantastic anyway! :money:
Looking at the percentages, you are not far away from a third
I sometimes wonder whether I would have had anymore children if I had had a pregnancy I enjoyed. I think I turned into Satan with PMT and I didn't enjoy it. People told me I was bloomin and looked fantastic, but I was dreadfully tired all the time and couldn't sleep from 6 months because of dodgy hips. I did not enjoy the giving birth bit eitherI love my daughter to pieces but she is hard work. She is very much like her father and knows her own mind (a.k.a stubborn), strong willed and even at 6 years old, him and her bicker and lock horns. I don't think I could cope with two of her and him
I tell myself that it is irrelevant anyway as I couldn't afford to have another child, couldn't afford to give up work etc. I sometimes worry for her that she might be lonely when she is older but in all reality lots of siblings dont get on, so she could have a sibling and still be lonely.
This I think is why I stick to dogs, they NEED me!Just keep swimming!0 -
Afternoon diary,
Nothing too exciting going on here! The bank account looks lovely today and will look even more lovely when DH gets paid Friday :rotfl:!! But DD's go out Monday. Heyho this is the first month we will not be using the overdraft :T.
Yesterday was a very HSD! I felt very twitchy about it even though I know its all budgetted for.
£102.89 - Asda
£64 - Tescos petrol
£18 - meal out for friends 30th
£10 - on Friends present (not going to mention what as if anyone knows me on here they will definately guess who I am!!)
£90.75 - car tax for 6 months
Then all the debt repayments.
Today is a lsd, treat myself to a jacket potato at lunch as i wont be having tea and aerobics this evening.
Im hoping tomorrow will be nsd8 as im not planning on spending a penny. Will bring my own lunch and we have enough food in to sink a small ship!!
Friday will be a spend day as me and the kids are getting our hair cut and im meeting a friend who is going on maternity for lunch.
Itsa, sorry to hear you were tired etc through your pregnancy can you imagine if no2 was worse than no 1! Thats what happened in my house haha!! She is a little character though and makes me laugh everyday. She also makes steam come out of my ears at least twice a day :rotfl:!!
I did really enjoy my pregnancies and the births (if I dont sound completely wrong in my head - im sure I wont have seen it in quite the same light at the time!!).
DD2 had us up in the night and I thought jesus I could never do sleepless nights again!!
Anyway best get on! Hope your all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning diary,
Happy Thursday, nearly the end of the week!
I popped on last night to update my signature further and add 39p to my sealed pot figure.
I was expecting today to be a nsd until I remember I needed my sisters birthday card plus DH announced we need sugar aswell. So im hoping for a lsd in Sainsburys local just on these 2 items.
I have brought my lunch and snacks to work.
Didnt go to aerobics last night as I still dont feel 100% from my cold and cough the other week. So thats that money saved.
DH's payday tomorrow :j.
Think thats about all from me. Hope your all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi Mummy
Hope you're feeling better, I'm glad schools over now as there were loads of germs/bugs going round before the kids broke up. A tummy bug was also doing the rounds, luckily my 2 didn't get it as I can't cope with pukey kids - DH always gets that lovely job! :rotfl:
Hope you've had a good day xx0 -
Morning Diary!!
Well the bank account looks super healthy today after DH's wage got paid in :j. Only for the weekend though as its direct debit central on Monday :rotfl:!!
Nothing too much to say tbh! Had my hair cut this morning and the kids fringes cut only cost £10. Booked the kids in for 4 weeks for their hair so will have to put that into the budget.
Choo, sicky kids works the other way in our house DH cant deal with them!! He stands there gipping and trying to clear up whilst the poor mites ares till being sick. Im like for god sake will you let them finish first!!
Well did I forget to tell you about Mr A and my shopping order on Tuesday. I ordered dishwasher tablets, rinse aid and salt. They substituted my items for 3 different types of dishwasher tablet !!!!!!! I was going to leave it until I realise they had missed some other cleaning products off as well so I rang yet again to complain this morning. Thats £6.71 winging its way back to my bank account :T and a free delivery! Ive said it before and il say it again... it pays to complain!!
Last night the house looked like a bomb had hit so I flew round with the hoover and polish and its looking lovely again! Will clean the bathrooms tomorrow.
2 loads of washing out today :j.
Right thats enough waffle! Catch up soon x xMummytogirls x0 -
I have got to the point where I ask for no substitutes. If I need something desperately I will go get it myself. I would rather that than they send something useless/unnecessary/far more expensive.
Yes, it pays to complain!
