Morning Mummytogirls
Sounds as though you had a great weekend and no it doesn't take long to get back into the swing of homelife, washing, cooking etc still all needs doing. I'm guilty of using my tumble drier as well, I hate pegging out socks and underwear as it takes so long so it all gets bunged into the tumble drier I should really wash these items on a daily basis instead of just leaving them until the end of the week and doing one dark and white wash and then tumble drying them all together.
Well done on getting the AA cover reduced, its very rewarding to phone them and haggle!
Have a great day xx0 -
Evening diary, well I am absolutely shattered this evening so the plan is to do nothing but chill with a cup of tea and sky plus once the kids are in bed (DH just dealing with them 2 at the mo!)
Last day at work tomorrow and ive not said this for quite a few years with only part time working but TFI Friday haha :rotfl:!!!!
This morning I did manage one of my jobs and emptied the hoover and hoovered round again. I swear this dog malts the more I hoover.
Tomorrow mornings job was to clean the bathroom but ive just realised ive no bathroom cleaner left until the shopping gets here Saturday so I will do them Sunday.
Wow I think my diary is turning into my to do list of cleaning jobs!!
Now onto the money front, updated my signature last night and its not far off 21% now. Still got a few payments to make but I dont think it will alter the % too much.
Righty ho think thats all from me. Oh no I know what I forgot to tell you, last week I received a 56 pack of pampers to test! DD only has 1 on at night now so thats nearly 2 months nappies I dont have to shell out for :T.
Off to check out other diaries now.
Oh Choo, nearly forgot to reply to you! Im glad ive found another fellow tumble drier user!! Its just cos now I dont have the radiators on I have no other way. Im glad I got the AA down too!!

Afternoon diary,
Just popping in for a quick update. What an absolutely glorious day outside. Typical for my first full week of full time that the weather is lovely. I pegged some washing out so im happy with that!
This morning I was a woman on a mission and managed to get the whole house hoovered and polished round too so that will do until Sunday now.
Tonights plan is to get in and have a quick tea of pizza and then take the kids to the park since its so nice. I think they will appreciate us all doing something together!
I also popped into the bakers on my way into work and bought them some Easter buns as a treat for being good for Nanna this week (plus feeling a bit guilty as ive only seen then for 2 hours on an evening).
Nothing much happening money wise and I dont expect it will now until payday!!!!
Catch up soon anyway x xMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary, **rant alert!**
Asda cancelled my delivery today due to technical issues :mad::mad:.
So me trying to make my life easier has completely backfired and ended up going and doing the shopping myself at tea time. Did end up spending marginally less which im not complaining about but Asda have got a hold on that money and we cant get access to it anyway . Plus they did say they would credit my account with a £10 evoucher but still im cross!
What a gorgeous day but no washing dried as I had no washing powder due to Asda not bringing it! So it best be nice tomorrow as I have 2 loads to get dry.
Tomorrow I need to do these 2 loads of washing and clean the bathrooms and then just generally get organised for the week ahead.
Did my ironing whilst the kids watched Tinkerbell this morning.
Right think thats all from me! Hope everyones had a great Saturday x xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy togirls
Grrr to Asda not delivering, that must have been so frustrating and time consuming for you! I suppose you got a voucher out of it though so every cloud has a silver lining :j
I've managed to not use my tumble drier this weekend, all the underwear has been pegged out on the line but its so time consuming but if it saves my electric bill its worth it
Have a good Sunday xx0 -
GRRRRRR to asda, at least you spent less going shopping and did get a voucher from them, beautiful weather here again so washings out on line, hope its the same for you.0

Evening diary, popping in for my daily update.
Choogirl, have you seen those oval shaped things for underwear with all the little pegs on? Ive got one cost me about £3 from Morrisons and its so much easier to hang underwear on and then it just hooks onto the line. Then in winter I keep it in the airing cupboard and hang the underwear in there!!
Pennywise, glorious day here too, hope it continues into next week for you.
Well my meter readings should be cheaper next week or else il be wondering why! Weve spent 2 days out in the garden and ive had 3 loads washed today :T. Plus ive been out at work all week so it just best have lowered ha!!
Still waiting for Asda to lift the authorisation on my money .
2 weeks til payday and tbh it cant come quick enough. We did spend a little more than expected last weekend and thats based on my part time wage. Looking forward to having extra money coming in.
Cleaned bathrooms this morning and quick hoover and polish round so that will do til Tuesday now. Ironed the bits off the line this evening too so im all set. Dont think il have any jobs to do tomorrow morning now woohoo!!
Ive had my shower and all food etc sorted for tomorrow.
Right best get off and chill for a bit before bed. Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummytogirls
Thanks I shall take a look in Mr Ms and see if I can buy one as its is a right pain having to peg everything out as it uses so much more space and pegs. I like the idea of using it in the airing cupboard as well.
You sound super organised as ever - enjoy your chill out xx0 -
Evening diary - Monday done!!
Choogirl, your right I am so super organised and I dont know where its all come from! Im wondering if its because I know my weekends are precious now I dont want to spend them doing jobs?
Well today ive been a busy bee!! Cleared out my wardrobe and drawers this morning and chucked all my old junk out. 3 bags full to be precise!! No point sending to charity cos it was in tatty states, half of its been there about 3 years anyway gathering dust. Kept a couple of pairs of decent jeans to ebay. I needed the room to put all DD's 3-4 stuff shes grown out of but im keeping for DD2. Felt really good actually. I have decided I am going to treat myself to a few key pieces to keep me going over the summer.
Went to work and did a days work!! Wrote a snotty email to Asda and then was told it had too many characters  so ive printed that out ready to read out to them when they ring me as they are still holding my money.
Came home, sorted tea and what not for tomorrow for the kids.
Shredded a whole bin bag full of paperwork and I think ive worn out the poor shredder as its not working anymorehopefully its just a fuse. DH said he will check it out for me.
Ive cooked some chicken breasts for sandwiches over the next few days, just need to go cut it off the bone in a mo.
Defrosting chicken for fahitas for tomorrows tea and also some mince for a lasagne to make for Wednesdays.
Rung Dyson to order a new hose for my hoover. It is out of warranty now but they are sending one out as a good will gesture as I only had a new one last August. Theres obviously some design fault on this model as this is about the 4th one weve had now.
Right onto the money.. Sainsburys have put my home insurance up by £72 a year on my renewal so thats a job I need to investigate and hopefully get something back through quidco. Not sure if insurance is going up generally but im not happy as ive not claimed or anything.
So all in all a very successful day.
Jobs for the morning:-
- meter readings
- hoover round
Right best get off and chill ready for tomorrow. Hope the weather picks up again so I can get some washing out :rotfl: x x xMummytogirls x0 -
Morning diary,
Just popping in for my morning catch up.
Done my morning jobs including meter readings. Weve only used 7 units of gas this week :T!! £13.38 for the week which has halved since December of last year.
Also rung the bank to confirm it was Asda holding my money and it was . Anyway the good news is theyve managed to remove the authorisation code so I now have access to that money again.
This evenings jobs:-
- make lasagne for tomorrow nights tea
- general sort out for the tomorrow - clothes etc
- home insurance quote if I get time
- white wash load
Righty ho have a good day all x xMummytogirls x0
