Afternoon diary, sorry ive not been around still really only working at about 50%! Did the shopping yesterday and it really wiped me out yet again. I had a 2 hour snooze on the sofa in the afternoon followed by being in bed 8pm til 10.30am this morning!

Ive tried to pull myself round more as I will need to be in work tomorrow as ive self certed for a week but I really dont know how I going to cope cos im so tired. All ive done this morning is tidy round a bit, have a bath and hang out some washing and I feel another sleep coming on and ive not even been up 4 hours yet . Going to try and push through I think.

Today is NSD9 of the month. Just updated my signature after my loan payment has gone out woohoo, now over the 20% mark!!! It will increase slightly once ive made the credit card payments aswell.

The shopping and petrol budget has restarted and I spent £60 in Morrisons yesterday and then a further £40 on petrol. Didnt really buy much to make a meal out of as I just seem to skirt round with my list buying things I knew we needed but couldnt face thinking about food. Good job weve got last weeks stuff in the freezer then isnt it!

Only good thing to come out of all being ill, no one wants to eat or leave the house hence not using any petrol!!!

Right think il leave it there and hope for a better week ahead! Catch up soon x x

    Evening diary,

Just popping in for a quick update. First day back at work today and my god am I tired now!! Just done the census online (it was due back yesterday!) and sorted out some paperwork so at least ive done something housey iykwim!

Ive changed how I do my washing now. Since we have turned the heating off ive been making sure I get the load done so it go out in the morning. No sure how thats going to work out when the weather stops playing ball!! Already done one load and im going to try get another load done too so I can get 2 loads dry tomorrow since it looks nice.

Right think thats it from me. Going to get another load of washing in, make a cuppa and then chill for a little bit before bed.

No NSD today as I had DD's snack money to pay...

Right il catch up soon x x

Afternoon diary, just quickly popping in before I tackle the ironing :A.

NSD10 today woohoo!!! Tomorrow should be NSD too.

Just done the meter readings for the week and wow. We are now down to just under £17 a week, thats all from stopping the heating and just having it on the odd hour and im assuming the lighter nights must have some bearing on it too.

Next week should be even cheaper as were away this weekend so should be half of £17 really!!

Erm think thats all from me! Catch up soon x x

    Hi Mummytogirls

Hope you're feeling better and not pushing yourself too hard. Your meter readings are coming down nicely I hope our consumptions coming down as well although DD keeps leaving lights on in every room. I'd turned our heating off as well but its been on again tonight, I think I'm forgetting its only March!

    Take care xx

Afternoon diary, just having 5 mins rest whilst the kids watch cbeebies.
Ive been a busy bee today trying to get this house half clean before we go away. Tonight I need to pack and then tomorrow morning nip to Morrisons for the bits we need to take with us and fill the car up.

Choogirl, I think I may have pushed myself a little too much today I am absolutely shattered! It needed doing though as the house hasnt been cleaned properly in about 2 weeks . Grrr to DD leaving her lights on . My electric is probably going to go through the roof again this week as ive got my tumble dryer on for the 2nd time today. The weather is pants so I cant get it dry that way and we wont be having the radiators on today, hey ho!

Nothing MSE to report. We are going out for a meal this evening so it wont be NSD, we are celebrating my job so that will be nice.

Righty ho best get packing after my 5 mins rest. So much to do...

Afternoon diary, back from our weekend away. Weather wasnt too bad to us so all in all we had a good weekend. Spent a bit more than I might have liked but its probably going to be our only holiday for this year so im sure we can cut back somewhere else to compensate.

The weather back home is rubbish though and with about 4 loads of washing to do il have to put the heating back on I think.

Weve got a nice roast beef in the oven and ive also got some minced beef to do a spaghetti bolognaise for tomorrow nights tea. Doesnt take long to back into the swing of everything does it!!

Right id best go get another load ready to go in! Catch up soon x x

Evening diary, just popping in for a quick catchup. Im so busy at the mo im not sure if im coming or going tbh!!!

    So.....
today I did the meter readings and I was totally shocked! The usage was very similar to last week at £16.71 but we went away for 3 days so how does that work? Well il tell you how that works! I used my tumble dryer for 5 loads yesterday which must equate to 3 days worth of electric . Thing is with the weather being pants and the house being too warm for the heating ive got no alternative to get the washing dry as ive tried airers and I can smell damp on the clothes! I cant flipping win. Anyway, when I entered the readings online this morning they told me their lowering my DD by £7 a month which is good :T!

This morning I did a mornings work before id even got to work. I got up 15 mins earlier and managed half a basket of ironing and hoovered throughout the house! With me working every day for a while I thought if I try do 1 job in a morning when ive got more energy I might be able to keep on top of things.

Righty ho, best get off and try chill out before bed.

Catch up with everyones diaries soon I promise!! x

Evening diary, just done my shopping online with MrA to be delivered Saturday. Decided to go for the 8 hour option as its cheaper but DH will be in all day revising for exams so may aswell save myself a few quid since he will be in the house!!

Pennywise, im glad im not the only one having problems!!

Well my tumble dryer is on again this evening, need to get DD's uniform dry for the morning. However, my weather app tells me the weather is now picking up so im going to get a load in tomorrow evening for Friday.

Had a ssd today, had to nip to Sainsburys on my way home for milk and cucumber so spent £2.

Ended up ringing up the AA this morning as I got my breakdown renewal through and the had the cheek to put it up over £100 . Anyway, ive managed to get it back down again thank god.

Im feeling very organised this week, all meal planned inc lunches up til next Friday and my house feels tidyish.

Need to take DH to work tomorrow morning so wont get time to do a job tomorrow morning but im hoping to do the bathrooms Friday morning before work and then a quick hoover and polish over the weekend should suffice. Hope my plan goes to plan so to speak!!

    Right catch up soon x
