Morning Diary,
Well what a miserable day it is, rain isn't going to stop for pretty much the next week according to the forecast so reckon I need to make friends with the TD :rotfl::mad:
Thanks for your posts Louby and PMO2, all the lovely posts I've received have convinced me I need to keep posting. I just feel as though I might be boring everybody sometimes, bore myself :rotfl:.
Ive booked in for spin next week too Louby.
So this morning we have been out to DD2s dancing lesson. Back now and parked in front of James Martin with a cuppa and a slice of toast. DH and DD1 are off out for football soon so that leaves me and DD2 here. She's in her bedroom at the moment, but before long she will be down claiming she's boooored! We have no plans so she will have to deal with it.
Today should be NSD4, will confirm that later!
Food today:
Breakfast - weetabix
Lunch - bacon, mushrooms, eggs, beans, tomatoes and toast
Tea - unsure yet as will be having late lunch and DH out
Snack - toast
Think thats about all, will catch up with other diaries shortly xxMummytogirls x0 -
I feel the same way about my diary sometimes but then I do feel like it is keeping me honest. I am more aware of what I am spending when I am accountable to MSE!!
I enjoy reading all the diaries regardless of the content, it is nice to see people in the same boat as me and not all the pretend lives all over Facebook..
Absolutely what emmie says - spot on. I read most of the diaries, don't always have time to read them all but yours is one of the ones I read regularly.
I know I bore myself sometimes, but its helping me so I shall keep plodding away at it. If I don't post its because I have gone off the rails and spent money. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thank you Redo
, I started reading your diary last week... was drawn in by the cheese :rotfl: we will ensure to come and hunt you down then should you go awol
So I've just been marking off my accounts on my spread sheet and I'm chuffed that I've still got £132 in my grocery account. Ive been keeping a tight reign on this and have 2 weeks shopping to do until payday so should have some leftover. This will be a miracle if this happens as have never managed it before... all hail Ald! Im hoping to spend roughly £55 next week and then £30-£40 week after. I have 3 meals banked in the freezer for the last week (bolognaise, curry and beef).
DD2 is being kept busy :rotfl: she's had a bath and is now writing to her friends she met on holiday. Brought up a table and chairs into the living room which should keep her entertained for a while.

Evening Diary,
Just a flying visit! Was coming on here an hour ago and then MIL rung for a quick one!!!
I have been so naughty food wise today, I actually can't even remember whats flown into my mouth , I do know a couple of homemade cookies DD2 and I made them (they were the big ones) and a portion of nachos as a snack and we had lunch/tea at 3pm so was hungry by 8.
Anyway today has been NSD4 :T we will be needing milk tomorrow so tomorrow will be a spend day.
Does anyone watch cold feet? I have just watched last nights and I don't know why but it makes me feel really content watching it! DH doesnt like it hence why I'm behind a day. I love it though
No plans as such for tomorrow except a Sunday roast.
Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0 -

Morning Diary,
Lazy Sunday is the order of this morning! DH brought me some breakfast in bed which was nice.
Just put a load of washing into the TD, have another load to go in the washer and have a nice joint of beef in the slow cooker.
Plans for today are to get out for a walk round the local area later. We also need to pop into the coop for milk and strawberries.
DH is just doing some jobs around the house, long overdue so glad he's finally doing them!
Happy Sunday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sounds like a perfect Sunday

Best win so far - holiday to Florida0 -
We have a roast in the oven - DP is also doing roast veg! Not much else on the cards, just printed some stuff out for school, tidied up, need to do some ironing and will try and fit in a walk?
Enjoy your day!0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Thanks PLMBL and Louby, hope you guys enjoy your Sunday too. I actually love Sunday's, the chance to get caught up and everything prepared for the week ahead.
So we've been out for our walk, it was quite chilly out, rainy and windy but we all got our winter coats on and embraced it!
Called in at the coop on the way back and drew out the breakfast club money for the next week and spent £6 in the coop on milk, strawberries and pineapple which was heavily reduced to 29p :money:
Have done 2 loads of washing today, managed to catch the 2nd lot just as the TD was finishing which meant half of the things could be hung up, leaving me about 8 things to iron :T
Also listed 2 things on eb@y so will see what happens with them, won't make mega bucks but anything is better than nothing. I sold 2 items last week too. Ive got about 6 items which didn't sell which I hadn't expected to so will take those to the clothes bank at the girls school.
Another victory for today is that I cut off a cucumber from the garden so thats saved us buying a cucumber this week. Ive also noticed theres another 2 looking good.
So the rest of the evening will look like this:
- cook tea (veg already cut and DH will take leftovers for Tuesdays lunch)
- make chicken tikka salads for tomorrow's lunch boxes
- fill water bottles etc
- have a shower and chill out in preparation for another busy week
Have a good week all xxMummytogirls x0 -
 you definitely have to keep posting!
The first week at school seems crazy busy doesn't it! and we have 120 kids not started yet till next week
Weather is disgusting isn't itSounds like a lovely weekend though
