Evening Diary,
Monday... done! Only 4 more to go until half term :T
So tonights tea was an absolute epic fail! Last week Mr T gave me some strange substitutions but id actually not cottoned on to this one until tonight! I ordered a savoury pastry case and they sent me what I thought was a finest pastry case and then a sweet one.. NO they'd sent me two sweet ones. Had a lovely taste in my mouth when I bit into my cheese and bacon quiche haha :rotfl:. So had quiche filling, chips and beans for tea. Still every cloud and all that with the calories saved from the buttery pastry!!!
Today has been quite good, NSD4 for me :T.
DD2 has gone off to beavers and just catching up on here before swopping them over when DD1 goes to cubs.
This weeks meals look like this:
Tues - Reggae chicken, spinach and brown rice
Weds - Jacket pot with salad
Thurs - eating out for DDs bday
Fri - can't actually remember!
Sat - Me and DH are going out
Sun - Big fat Sunday roast - Chicken
Mon - slow cooker chicken curry
SA, we are due some more snow later on in the week
Right think thats about all from me. Need to log in and check up on my Mr T's order for tomorrow. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Wow so busy! Glad doggie is continuing to improve.
How is the painting coming on in the man cave, my dh cave is in the attic it's so nice not to hear a peep out of him at timesHe does moan if I take things up there but I remind him he only rents the space it's our house too!
Ooh sweet quiche, not sure if I'll follow that receipe thanks ha, ha.
No snow here but very icy, apparently 69 accidents in the area today and the council didn't grit the roads last night. It's only snowed properly in my town once in the 10 years I've lived here and that was 10 years ago. Only a few minutes from coast to countryside so wouldn't take long to hit bad weather.
Great savings on the party food, hope she has a lovely time.

Chrysalis and DF0D don't you 2 be stealing my sweet quiche recipe for your meal plan next week :rotfl:.
69 incidents Chrysalis  its been very cold here but not too slippy, the council seem to be doing their job for once!
Just amended my shopping order... again! Ive decided I'm going to reimburse myself with the party food as its now nearly £37! Ive also decided to pay for it to be delivered with bags this week since I've got 93 items coming!! I think this 40p will be worth it.
Feeling a bit peckish now after my rubbish tea! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning MTG
Loved the silver lining you found on the sweet quiche disaster :j.
Hope the snow forecast doesn't show up. I hate snow and all the chaos it brings. i wouldn't mind a Saturday for some sledging with the children and time for a quick snowman but after that it can go away.
Dh being self employed it, snow just heralds lack of income for us if he can't get to his jobs.
Thankfully being down in the south of England it is pretty rare for snow, think Winter of 2010 was the last serious cant get off the drive snow we had.
Have a great day, you weeks meal plan looks great. xx0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Just waiting for Mr T's to arrive with my 93 items!!! DH commented on me having it delivered with bags, I mean charming of him since he's not the one bringing in 93 items ha!!!
Anyway Tuesday has been a good day, nothing too exciting to report! I like those boring kind of days where theres no dramas to report.
Just balanced the bank account, nothing to report there.
So its freezing here now, sleet forecast for tomorrow and snow Thursday... just in time for DDs birthday, happens every year! She's having her party at home and everyones in walking distance so there shouldn't be any problems although I don't think it will be that bad *touches wood!* Steph lucky you, we seem to get it bad most years! Our street is like nothing else in this world, because the houses are so tall the sun doesnt get round and we can have it still present weeks after everyone else! Its like bottle ice and were right at the bottom so fun trying to get back to the house as you can imagine.
Im glad for DH's work you don't get it though!!!
Food:
Breakfast - porridge
Snack - Bakewell nakd bar
Lunch - BLT on wholemeal thin & a muller
Tea - reggae chicken with brown rice and spinach and peppers
Ive got my satsuma which I haven't eaten today but not really been too hungry tbh.
Think thats all from me. Will update after Mr T's has been!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening Diary,
Tea was delicious just finished!
Mr T's brought my shopping (came to £78.19 but £37 of this was DDs stuff so not including). I ordered 1 Nakd bar and they sent me a box of 4! Hope I like them now!!
Got the lunches ready for tomorrow, theres only me and DH having them tomorrow as the girls are on school dinners and now bathing them and reading.
DD2 did all her party bags whilst tea was cooking so thats another job done.
Think that will be all from me tonight xxMummytogirls x0 -
Glad everything arrived and hope the snow stays away!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Evening Diary,
Well weve no snow at the minute but still showing for overnight  I've reversed my car in just incase although it doesnt matter anyway as our street is a right pig to get off in the bad weather. Might just leave it there and get DH to drop me off if so (he's parked further up and were expecting his car to be better in snow!). Il fill you in tomorrow!!
So today has been ok again got lots done at work. Been and got DDs balloons and badge whilst they were at gymnastics plus a few other bits. Then been for my eyebrows waxing so its been a bit spendy today.
Food:
Breakfast - weetabix
Lunch - HM tomato soup, wholemeal thin, muller yoghurt
Tea - jacket potato, cheese and beans with salad
Snacks - fruit, yoghurt and oats and a satsuma
So I need to wrap her things up tonight, they've just been sent to bed for fighting with each other so will wait for them to fall asleep before I start.
Also going to have a look on Newl00k for something for Saturday. MIL bought me a GV for Christmas so it shouldn't cost me anything!!

Hi M2G,
I hope you are well - how old will your DD be?
Keep us updated with the snow - our forecast just says rain rain rain!
I need to start noting down my food intake - I used to and found it really helped
