That's really interesting about the Shellac. They never told me that at my salon. Dreading de-trimming our house this weekend :( I would love to have a PJ day - but when you've got a dog it just doesn't happen.

    Morning Diary,

Just not long got up ! My sleep pattern this last few days is all over the place, I'm really going to struggle come Monday! DH set his alarm this morning the loon! I think an early morning might be on the cards tomorrow.

So today were going bowling with my dad and his GF. Im hoping for a relatively cheap day as I've already paid online last week, will just need to buy the kids a slush drink or something, we going mid afternoon so food required! You can get your parking ticket validated too so no parking costs. We do need some milk and bits for Monday so will probably get them today and then tomorrow can be NSD2 :D.

    Thanks PLMBL.

    DF0D, mine does too

SA, I think it might have been me that asked the question, I bet they won't willing say unless asked. If this happens to you aswell though id say you're affected same as me. We have a dog too but DH deals with him! You could always leave your PJs on under your waterproofs :rotfl: DH sometimes does this!!!

So for this morning DH is just touching up with various bits of paint around the house. Im going to clean the bathrooms and do the ironing shortly.

I think thats about all from me. Happy Saturday xx

    Evening Diary,

Today has been NSD2 :D. My dad bought the drinks as id paid for the bowling so no spends. Will pop to the shops tomorrow for the few bits we need for Monday.

Made HM sausage rolls for tea with oven chips and beans. Id also defrosted some chicken to make KFC tomorrow but need to soak it overnight in buttermilk so thats currently soaking.

Made an overpayment to the CC of 98p today rounding down the account!

Ive just paid my nails, did like an ombre glitter design which I'm quite pleased with. Now the kids are watching inside out with popcorn.

We don't really have many plans for tomorrow, will just chill out, clean up and get ready for work and school on Monday xx

    Happy New Year.

By my count it is six weeks until half term. Lol

It is hard getting back into a routine. I think Christmas is the hardest. After the summer six weeks. I think everyone is ready for it.

Well done on your 2015 debt busting. 50 percent is loads!

Happy New year to you all xx

    Morning Diary,

Could not get to sleep again last night , had set my alarm for 8am to ease me back in! Felt shattered when it went off but ok now.

DF0D, I can't believe you didn't know how many weeks until the next half term!!! Rebecca, I had already counted this whilst setting up my new diary :rotfl:. I think the autumn term is theeeee worst one!

So today... I've already put some washing over the airer, put our bedding in the washer, caught up with the ironing and now just having 20 mins whilst some paint dries before I dare go near the bathroom. DH's DIY marathon is now complete :D

Then I'm going to pop out to Mr T's to get a few supplies for tomorrow and Tuesday. Healthy eating has started but will really start tomorrow so wanted some bananas and yoghurts for work. I also contemplated the farmshop aswell but it will be mental up there all day now so will do that tomorrow whilst I have an hour to kill whilst DD is at Beavers. This is going to mean 3 spend days in a row but will hopefully be followed by 3 NSD's!

This is my meal plan for the next week:

Mon - Pasta bake and garlic bread (will add salad to this too)
Tues - Hunters chicken, sw pot wedges and veg
Weds - Jacket potato, cheese, beans and salad for me (bolognaise for DH and kids)
Thurs - Fahitas (I'm going to substitute my wrap with spinach and brown rice)
Fri - Cajun chicken - with either rice or sw pot
Sat - Steak & peppercorn sauce
Sun - Roast beef and all the trimmings
    Mon - Quiche

Lunches will be BLT on wholemeal roll or thins or soup which I am going to make Tuesday.

Snacks will be the abundance of satsumas we have in the fridge, yoghurts, cereal bars, bananas, grapes etc!

    Right lets do this! xx

    Happy new year Mummy x

I had my nails done with shellac this year before going on holiday and I've vowed never again, it took forever to take off and left them in bad condition for weeks afterwards. Have you tried some of the gel nail varnishes which are available, they dry quickly, last a while and come off easily?

Your meal plan sounds lovely, it's healthy eating here after today I need to lose my Christmas weight plus abit more.

Hope it's not too traumatic returning to work xxx
