Afternoon Diary,
Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday. We did, DH bought me some lovely presents and the girls seemed happy with theirs. It was nice to see the family too.
So today we are having a chilled day at home. The kids were supposed to go to the football with grandad today but its been called off due to the bad weather. Him and his GF are coming over for tea later on so I've got a joint of beef in the slow cooker.
The weather is supposed to dry up tomorrow so hoping to get out with the kids on their new scooters.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -

Morning Diary,
What a lovely day it is here, which makes a nice change from the rain. Theres been lots of flooding in the surrounding areas, so glad we don't live near a river as they all seem to have burst their banks.
So yesterday my dad, his GF and her mum came round and the roast beef we did was delicious. They all commented on how nice my ice-cream was and my dads GF wants the recipe.
Were going to get the girls out of the house for some fresh air today. Then were using up our turkey on a curry! Weve also got lots of beef left so might have hot beef sandwiches tomorrow with that. Were off round to the neighbours for a few drinks and a catch up tonight which will be nice.
Weve had a couple of NSD's in a row and I'm hoping today will be another.
Thats about all from me. Hope everyones enjoying themselves!Mummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Weve been out spending for the first time since Christmas eve today!
Girls wanted to buy a guitar with their money so we took them to Toys R Us and they got one for £20 which we didn't think was bad going.
DH bought a coat in Burton and I bought some PJ's in DP's! Then we had a costa which I didn't particularly enjoy! DH has been badgering to go for me to try the caramel hot chocolate. I didn't even fancy it but he hasnt shut up about it and it was so sickly I only drank about 1/4, even the kids wouldn't entertain it so it must have been bad :rotfl:.
Popped in at Mr A's in the way home and spent £36 for a bit of a top up which wasn't too bad.
Now were home and I'm trying out my new pjs

Morning Diary,
Well the weather is once again lovely here today. Only plans we have for today are to take the kids out on their bikes and have a trip to B & Q. Every year DH says he's going to put up outside lights and every year he doesnt! So we are going to see if we can find any reduced, although I've just had a look online and can't see any. They have got some cute decorations reduced to 50p so might buy a few of those for next year.
Tonight we are going round to the neighbours, was supposed to be Sunday night but has ended up being tonight instead.
But first were going to get dressed and have a bacon sandwich!
DF0D, what is it about new pjs? I really loved all my pressies but a bit disappointed I didn't get any pjs haha!!! Its the small things I suppose.
Thats all from me! xxMummytogirls x0 -
I got some stuff in the BnQ sale the Friday before Christmas, but in store was slim pickings. Argos did have some reductions though?
I haven't had any PJ's for ages, am determined to shift some weight first!

Ahhh thanks DF0D il take a look there too.
Im determined to lose a few lbs too. Last night my stomach felt awful and I know its down to the over indulgence over Christmas! Ive already started writing next weeks shopping list on my phone as I'm thinking of healthy ideas! Actually I've started following a few slimming world people on instagram, just for ideas really as I get stuck for healthy ideas other than salad! xxMummytogirls x0
