Evening Diary,
Just having 5 before we pop round to the neighbours.
Choo, thanks for your reply. Just half a stone would make me feel so much better!
DF0D, I've replied. Its a good job you told me you were going to DM me. I would have never noticed that tiny bolded out number 1 at the top of my screen!
So we went to B&Q and you were right DF0D didn't find s0d all! Instead we bought some paint brushes as DH has some touching up to do and also a draught excluder for the garage ... yes I thought that aswell but apparently DH has been after one for a while to stop the leaves blowing in ha!! I didn't use any hard cash as I had a £40 gift card they sent me when I complained a couple of months back.
Ive caught up with my ironing, painted my nails and then decluttered my leggings and PJ's and make up! I swear I found a lip gloss I just used to love when I was about 14, they've since introduced those use by dates on the back :rotfl:. I don't know what it is but since I got into debt I've struggled to throw things away. I think its the not knowing when you'll be able to replace that pair of jeans or tops etc.
Anyway now we are in a better position and I have my own 'spending money' to replace these things I have thrown a few bits out. I have a pair of trousers that would be ideal for work but I have only ever worn them once and they are now too small ! Only a tiny bit too small so these are my goal trousers. I reckon half a stone and id be in them.
So tomorrow the weather is going to be hideous and we are going to the local shopping centre for the girls to spend some more of their money. I had a £5 voucher from build a bear so I've printed that out and they can have that towards some accessory. DD2 is obsessed with her build a bear.
I would like to get a new top coat as instead of having my nails shellac'd I've been doing them myself and I'm actually getting quite good at it. So should be a pretty SSD tomorrow.
Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Enjoy your night out and hope tomorrow isn't too hideous weather wise. I'd love to get my nails done or do them myself, but just wouldn't know where to start!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Afternoon Diary,
Just got back from quite an expensive day out! Girls did all their spending in the shopping centre. DD1 is desperate for the game pie face but its out of stock everywhere. I only spent £4 in B00ts on a top coat and some eye makeup remover. Then we went to Ikea  it wasn't too bad actually we managed to get parked easier than ever before in there. Spent £60 on 2 bathroom cabinets (weve been searching for 'the' perfect ones since we moved in nearly 9 years ago) these are not entirely what we wanted but at £19.90 each I don't think anyone could complain. Plus coat hangers and those other cheap bits that jump into your bright yellow shopping bag :rotfl:. On the way out there was 2 guys fighting for our space! The one in the wrong nearly drove into the side of our card as we were reversing out. How pathetic I mean really, is it worth crashing your car over?!
DF0D, I used to be horrendous at painting my nails, especially my right hand! Ive got quite good over time with practising and seeing the extras they do with glitter. You could look on youtube or pinterest for tutorials and tips? Don't get me wrong id love to be getting mine done professionally but at £21 a good I think il practice myself and save that for special occasions!
Right I think thats all from me. DH is back from walking the dog now so going to make us a nice latte! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi MTG
Great to see how fab you are doing with the debt busting. Over 50%
I am being a real hermit over these Christmas holidays, I ventured out last night to the cinema and had a real parking battle there. Everyone battling for that one spot left. Just awful. Thank heavens he didn't actually hit you.
I had to laugh at you saying you keep all your make up and clothes etc as you never know when you can afford to replace them. I tried doing that Konmari decluttering book last summer but just couldn't face doing it thoroughly as I can't afford to have to go out and buy new if I threw everything that wasn't perfect out..
I have been AWOL for a while but I look forward to catching up with your diary

Those yellow bags are fatal, how could you not know you needed 1000 tea lights or another 4 glasses for the kitchen!
I did actually google shellac last night to see how it was done - am currently sporting pink glitter nail varnish from 10 days ago that DD put on me! Prior to that, it was blue frozen glitter stuff!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Evening Diary,
DH is out so enjoying the TV and laptop combo all to myself!!! Just done my online shop to be delivered next Tues.. £65 with lots of extra points vouchers used. Ive also added lots of healthy things to the trolley.
Steph, I find the whole parking in a busy car park too stressful! Luckily DH was driving today!! Im glad you're back, missed your updates.
DF0D, I love shellac it looks so nice. You can buy the light machines nowadays, not sure how good they are to use at home though. Im glad you're with me on the yellow bag situ, I asked joked with DH about glasses as we have tons! I did buy 2 new vases since mine both smashed not long after one an other before Christmas and then hinted to DH that I might like some flowers now :rotfl:.
So we (DH) made HM chinese for tea. Everytime we have a takeaway we get a couple of extra sauces and this time it was curry in the freezer so he made chicken curry, fried rice and chips. It was very nice and I always say this but wish we had thought to do that when we really were on our @rses back in 2010!
Did I mention that my hair straighteners kindly broke on me on Christmas Eve?! Well I've been waiting for this shop to re-open close to me who fix them for £25. Anyway we called past today and it doesnt open until Monday which is a bit annoying as I keep having to wear my hair up as its so bad without being straightened. Looks like I'm going to have to keep going a bit longer and take them up there one lunch time. Anyway saves me however much on a new pair, fingers crossed they can be fixed.
We are thinking of booking to go to Centre P@rcs between Christmas and New Year next year. Its quite pricey but were not going away as such next year so feel I can justify it a bit more. DH was trying to get me to book it the other night and use some of the emergency savings we have but I decided to wait until the end of Jan when DD2 and DH's birthdays are out of the way. We need to get out of this need it now and start saving for things. Plus the dog hasnt been so well so don't want to wipe out those savings just incase.
Right thats all for now. Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Just caught up with 0nepoll.. now at £27.65. I really should keep up to these! xxMummytogirls x0

Morning Diary,
Happy New Years Eve!!!!
Really struggled to get to sleep last night, it was nearly 2am when I finally nodded off and then I was back awake at 4am with a sore throat. Managaed to nod back off until 8am but feeling surprisingly ok today.
Ive made a start on the de-christmassing... when I say start I mean taken the cards down and now I've had enough :rotfl:. Ive decided I'm not rushing about for my final 4 days off. Ive kept myself quite busy this holidays but the thought of work on Monday has made me down tools!!
I have my sister, BIL and nephew coming round this evening. Im making a curry for tea so have made a start on that and the chicken is now marinating.
Thats about all really. Lazy day planned here xxMummytogirls x0
