    Afternoon Diary,

Just waiting for Mr T so having a quick catch up.

So yesterday was a busy day and then I was on a safeguarding course straight after work, that was pretty hard going for a Monday but totally necessary. I then popped to Next for some shoes id ordered for the girls for a Christening we have on Sunday.

Today I've been at work, nothing new to report there!! Picked up a parcel from the post office on the way home and then had a quick wipe round the bathrooms before picking the girls up. Im trying to keep up with the house work daily by doing little bits. Day 2 - going well!!!

Oh I bought 2 Christmas presents yesterday .. 2 sets of books from the book club.. diary of a wimpy kid and wheres wally £20 for the lot. I think they're worth over a £100 in total (not that id pay that!).

Thats about all from me. Weather pretty miserable here.

Hope all ok, DF0D, feeling much better thank you xx

  • Glad you're feeling better, I can't believe how many people are getting ahead with their xmas shopping this year (it's a good thing) I'm so far behind and can't think of any ideas for this year I might have to pop on to pintrest to get some inspiration.

I'm sure we lead parallel lives, I was marking a student's work on Safeguarding and Protecting vulnerable adults today! Luckily only a thousand words to read, it's quite shocking how many care staff don't know the local procedures though.

Hope you had a good evening, C x

    Evening Diary,

Chrysalis I think weve said something about parallel lives before!!! You've really got to be up on your stuff with policies etc but it all changes so much doesnt it!

So im struggling for a NSD this week! Tonight I popped to Mr A's for a couple of bits, spent £27 (this included some socks for DD1 and a present for my nephews christening). I also saw a coat whilst I was in there and I've been on the lookout for one! Ended up ordering it online when I got home as I had some birthday money left over so treat myself :D.

Ive kept up with my little rota jobs tonight - this probably won't last!

Thats about all from me. Hope all ok x

    Evening Diary,

DH and I actually stayed up until 11pm last night talking about various things... this is actually a major achievement for us to be up past 9 so thought id share :rotfl:.

So today has been yet another NSD. Needed to pop to the butchers for chicken for tea, also bought a joint of beef for Saturday and some eggs... £14 spent.

Took the kids to the park after school which was nice to enjoy a bit of fresh air, might be the last park trip for this year.

Just updated my signature and so close to 50%. Didn't pay off nearly as much as I wanted to with DH's September wage but with the dogs vets bills and a couple of other things, you can't also stretch to everything can you.

Oh I also have my card registers with quidc0 and my cashback from h@lfords has now tracked which is good.

Thats about all from me, just need to get on with tea. Hunters chicken tonight and then theres my daily job which today is to hoover and mop downstairs. I will do this whilst DH baths the kids.

Hope all ok, happy Friday for tomorrow xx

  • Hi mtg, what is this 11pm you speak of we are normally in bed the same time as the kids! It's great sometimes when you stay up chatting, reminds me of the olden times before children :D

The park visit sounds lovely, definitely a change in the air but I think Autumn is my favourite season I love all the colours on the trees and tucking away in the evening.

:j Absolutely brilliant news on your debt busting, that 50% mark will be crossed soon no doubt and especially considering all the things you've had to pay for.

Enjoy your tea, and yay to Friday!

    Hi Chrysalis,

I don't mind Autumn, but I think summer (or what we have of it) is my favourite.

Ive just been watching w@tchdog, don't know if anyone watched it but that puppy farm made me sick. I just don't know how people can treat animals like that, they won't even care thats the sad thing.

So I've done my daily jobs. Its much better to keep up to these things, but some weeks are easier than others.

DH is watching some rubbish so I'm going to attempt a couple of surveys xx

    Afternoon Diary,

Well the weather has turned out beautiful here, I had some washing in the machine which is now pegged out :D. This makes me happy.

Hi DF0D, hope all is well with you.

I managed to get through work without a hitch, it hasnt been too bad this week, Ive had worse weeks!!!

Tonights tea is an easy cornish pasty and mushy peas for me and sausage rolls and beans for DH and the kids.

Today has been yet another spend day. Needed shampoo which was £9 from the hairdressers , it does make a difference though and I bought it using my own spending money.. thats my justification!!!
Also kids have an ice cream on a Friday so that will be a small spend too.

Just done some surveys and now at £23.15 on 0nepoll, haven't looked at op world will look at those over the weekend. I would like to get to pay out for op world in the holidays when I will have more time on my hands.

Thats about all from me. Hope all ok xx
