  • Wow sounds like another busy day! I'm sure the holidays didn't happen.

Good effort on the no spend days, money is just oozing from my account at the moment.

    Have a good evening.

  • Afternoon Diary,

Just got in from an expectations meeting at DDs school. Really glad I went to know whats expected of them etc. Both teachers seem really on the ball and really nice which is a welcome relief after the trouble we had with DD1s teacher last year as she was a complete witch but has now left the school :j. I wonder if we were part of that decision made to leave :rotfl:.

So after work I popped to the farmshop, £13.05 spent in there on various things. Now sat down with a coffee and cooking sausage, egg, chips and beans for tea, such a treat. Even bought some WHITE bread to go with it :).

Its been glorious here today and I've had some washing on the airer outside all day so I'm hoping thats dry.

Chrysalis, what are these holidays you speak off... can't believe they only ended last week .

Nothing much more to report all ok x

  • Morning Diary,

Happy Saturday everyone, weve made it through the first full week :j.

So true to usual Saturday form the weather is pants, rain rain rain. Apparently its supposed to brighten up later on so I've just put a load of washing in ready!! Tomorrow is look a nicer day all round.

So yesterday, I had to go on a course which I really could have done without. This meant I had just over 2 hours to get my work done and given that I feel behind as it is it didn't help matters!

Haven't really got any plans for today, although DD2 is already harping on about what were doing today and its only 8.30!!!

Oh nearly forgot yesterday was NSD5 :T.

Have a lovely weekend all xx

  • I hope wou have a lovely restful weekend, raining here too I put dd and her friend in a tent in the back garden for their sleepover and heard the rain in the night! They were fine, it's not going to get my washing dry this morning though.

Glad school meeting went well, this germ will pass in a blur. Only 15 weeks until Xmas.

  • Afternoon Diary,

So yesterday we ended up doing some homework of DDs which including baking and drawing autumnal pictures! We popped to Asda for pizzas and ingredients for her cupcake toppings.. £20 spent there.
The weather didn't really brighten up yesterday so I ended up putting the uniforms in the TD.

Today has been another spend day  £6.66 in Mr T's on bread and a few other little bits.
The weather seems much better here today though and I've got a load of washing out. It has just come really dark so I hope it comes back bright soon!

Tomorrow will also be a spend day as I have a big shop coming from Mr S who offered me £15 off a shop. Will probably fill my car up on the way home from work too. Not sure how my light hasnt come on yet but I'm sure it will come on tomorrow.

Payday Tuesday :T, which will hopefully be NSD6.

Think thats about all from me. Weve got some chicken marinating in Nandos sauce at the mo which we will have for tea. Happy Sunday all xx

  • Evening Diary,

Monday.... done!!! Im not feeling as done in as last Monday... so far ha!

So today has been quite a spendy day. So far £89 in Mr S and £57 on petrol . We are also off to the farmshop after dropping DD at cubs as we have no meat in and I want to avoid a spend day tomorrow :rotfl:.

The weather is so rubbish here and tbh I can't see it getting better anytime soon. Today's washing in the TD as we speak .

DF0D, when are you planning the party for? Anywhere near halloween?? I once did DD a Halloween themed party as her bday is day before bonfire night. Anyway, I did pass the parcel (or pumpkin for halloween themed), musical bumps, let me have a think as thats all I can remember!!

That's about all from me! Hope all ok x

  • DF0D I've also seen a corners game recently where you have 4 colours in 4 corners of the room. They choose which corner and then a colour is picked out of a bag and those in that corner are out.

I also make my own sweet cones as gifts, you can buy all the stuff cheap on eBay/amazon and then print off your own stickers if you want "thank you for coming to xxxx's party" and then wrap some ribbon around the top. I wouldn't buy little bits of toys as in my experience they end up in the bin! xx
