Morning Diary,
What a lovely day it is today, so sunny and lovely... makes a change usually it goes down hill for the weekend doesnt it!
So I've done my ironing and just need to put it away however kids are currently playing in DD2s room so I get in at the min!! Ive just put a wash load in since its such a nice day.
This afternoon were going down to a local music festival. One of my best friends is involved and so we are on the guest list. We are going to have our lunch late and then DH is going to make a curry this afternoon which we will have when we get home. Best we do that or else we will end up grabbing a takeaway on the way home and we don't want that after we had fish and chips last night!!! Im really looking forward to it, the kids have seen Paloma on TV when DH was watching some festival so they know what its all about!! Ive not been for a few years and Calvin Harris was on, he was great so really looking forward to it. Hope DD2 doesnt moan too much!!! DH has already got the hand gel and toilet wipes ready :rotfl:.
Thanks Chrysalis, I really hope its nothing serious too. Ive had the girls in the tears this morning when they found out he was going to the vets to be checked out. Thing is I've tried explaining to them that he is almost 11 now and labradors life expectancy is between 10-12 although I do think as long as he doesnt get anything life threatening he will exceed this as he's so full of life still compared to other younger dogs the same breed round here who seem loads older. It would be strange for them as we had the dog before the kids so he's always been in their lives. Fingers crossed anyway.
Just going to have a catch up on here then clean the bathrooms... joy!! xxMummytogirls x0 -

Morning Diary,
A fantastic time was had by all of us at the festival, some other friends were there too which I didn't realise they would so that was nice.
We got home for 9.30 so not too late either, but I'm shattered this morning!!
DF0D and PLMBL, thanks for asking about the dog. He's ok, vet thinks he's got some kind of throat infection/damage to his throat after he kept chewing and eating plastic about a month ago. She gave him a thorough going over and said his throat was swollen and when she pinched it he did the thing he's been doing. £74 for some tablets and the appointment . Just glad it wasn't anything more serious.
So today, I've been writing my shopping list for Tuesday and theres a few bits we need to get today and packed lunches etc, probably about a £10 spend there.
Its another really sunny day here, so I've got our bedding in which is nearly finish so will peg that out.
Roast chicken for Sunday tea and then it will be just getting kids bathed, ready for school etc.
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sounds like you had a great time at the festival, and so glad that doggie isn't as poorly as feared I hope the tablets work quickly for him to reduce the discomfort.
Are the girls at swimming lessons today? Mine went this morning, test week!
Hope you've had a lovely Sunday.

Afternoon Diary,
Didn't manage to post yesterday as I came home with a massive headache (usually do on Mondays as its my only day in all day and I work on my own) so I ended up in bed for 9pm. Had an awful dream that my dishwasher was on fire too .
So yesterday was NSD3, took me all my might to make it a NSD as we needed butter and a few other bits but I knew they were coming today so managed not to spend! DD1 started cubs last night, 1st month free and then its £10 a month which is pretty barginous as far as clubs go!!
Today hasnt been much better at work, its just so full on at the moment, hoping il have it more under control by the end of the week!
I popped to Mr A's to collect my shopping after work, £55 there but then £1.49 to be refunded as they were giving me an unsuitable sub.
Ive put me and the girls a jacket potato in for tea and DH will have some fish from the freezer.
Ive also got the washing machine and will have to use the TD tonight to get these things dry. Weather is not very nice here at the mo unfortunately.
Chrysalis, DD1 doesnt swim anymore but DD2 goes on a Sunday morning. It was when it got to the tests/awards that DD1 wanted to give it up. She could swim so we were happy by that.
So my n@twest DD has gone out today so I've amended my signature. Once DH's goes out on the 19th il be in 800's which is exciting news!!!
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Glad your headache has gone, and the dishwasher fire was just a dream!
Well done on the no spend day yesterday, mine don't seem to stop but it is things we need.
Great news on the next milestone, well done on the constant saving.

Morning MTG
Glad you have recovered from the headache and nasty dreams, sounds like a very stressful job you have.
Fab news on the debt busting, £800 sounds very easy to chip away at, that debt will soon be gone. xxx0 -
Evening Diary,
Another day done round at the madhouse! Steph I'm sure my job shouldn't be half as tough as it is! I work in a school office... the job I signed up for sure isn't this one ha! I do love it though, even if its nearly killing me at the mo ha!!
So today is NSD4 :T, really pleased with this. Tomorrow will be a SSD as I need to pop to the farmshop for a few bits on the way home.
So back to today, I've just sat down which is an improvement on yesterday which was nearly 9pm... I was asleep for 9.40pm .
Kids have been to gymnastics and I've done some ironing and sorted out some washing to be pegged out tomorrow.
Tonights tea was hot and spicy marinaded chicken, wedges and roasted veg.
Think thats about all from me, nothing more to report! xxMummytogirls x0
