    Evening Diary,

Just a quick one as I'm flagging a bit now!!! Got up after the first snooze this morning... this will not last I repeat this will not last ha!! I had already emptied the dishwasher last night and got the lunch things ready that I could so all I needed to do was make my sandwich. Kids decided they wanted school dinners today and tomorrow so no packed lunches to make tomorrow. Made a quiche for tea and me and my friend went out walking at 5.30pm for an hour. We walked over 3 miles... this is in my effort to loose a few pounds for my bikini body :rotfl:.

Mags, maybe DD will start paying for you once she's earning haha!!! Yes cheap holidays sounds like a good plan.

Steph, im not sure if it would for me working less hours, I'm really over worked and that would just make it worse ha! The Head really relys on me so I doubt she would ever agree to that. I actually finish at 2.15 Tuesday to Friday so I pick the kids up but I still work 32.5 hours per week which I think DH forgets sometimes.

So uniforms are laid out, water bottles filled, all on school dinners tomorrow so no lunches to make, dishwasher isn't full so will put on in the morning, a load of washing put on the airer and another load sorted to put in in the morning and I'm not ready for bed ha!!

Hope everyone elses first day back was ok x

  • Good evening mtg I'm dreading tomorrow as I've been staying up late I.e. after 8pm during the holidays and getting up late, I don't know whether I can even drag myself out of bed in the morning. I'm teaching an athletics course tomorrow so at least it's something fun!

Your walk sounds good, thank goodness for the lovely lighter evenings.

    Afternoon Diary,

Day 2 survived... feels like we've not had the past 2 weeks off!!

So today, managed to get up on time again! Been to work, its been such a busy day although every day is a busy day for me. Id put a load of washing in this morning and I pegged it out when I got home. Its quite sunny and breezy so hopefully it will dry.

Today has been a SSD, bought the girls an ice cream, forgot to add that yesterday was a NSD.

So I've just been on and done the Mr A's shop to collect tomorrow.. £44 so not too bad, a lot of that is cleaning, toilet roll etc.
Just going to do some ironing and then il get on with the tea, chicken kievs with roast potatoes and veg tonight.

Chrysalis, I love the lighter nights!! Hope today was gentle on you ha!

    Hope everyones ok anyway xx

    Evening Diary,

DH is out with the boys for a curry so I'm watching the TV and using my laptop at the same time... just because I can :D!!

So yesterday started well, got out of the house early to get to work as was majorly snowed under... problem was I ended up getting to work over an hour late after I had to ring the AA on the bloody car. He couldn't find anything wrong with it but we think it might have been the heater motor that had stuck making this most horrendous burning smell!! Theres quite a few things that are threatening to go on the car so think we are going to start on looking for a new car. I said to DH we should start looking now rather than the car going bang and then us having to just buy anything we can at the time.

So today would have been a NSD if Mr A hadn't have forgotten the milk off my order yesterday! So had to buy milk today so a SSD.

Cannot believe its Friday tomorrow already, life is just going a little too fast at the moment xx

    Morning Diary,

Saturday morning ahhhhhhh :). So DH has found us a car and its quite a bargain price aswell... long gone are the days of spending £12k on a car! Its £5k and its only a couple of years old, DH went to look at it yesterday as he works quite near to the garage so we are going to look at it today. Not rushing into anything so if its not the right one then we won't be buying it. Will see what happens.

Ive got a load of washing in the machine at the moment and will peg that out. Its quite overcast here today but it should dry if its out all day.

Thats about all from me. The weekend will consist of cleaning and tidying, not much planned at all.

Hope all ok anyway, have a lovely weekend x

Ive also got 5 items on eBay with very little interest. Don't think il bother with eBay again! xx

  • Hope the ebay sales pick up. I'm having another go with putting stuff on there to raise some funds..... I absolutely hate it.....but it's got to be done I suppose.:)

Sorry to hear you've had car trouble. It's horrible when we rely on them so much and there's always that fear of them breaking down.

Hope the car turned out to be the bargain you hoped for. Car buying always scares me as we are clueless about what problems to look for.

I am having the same troubles on Ebay, it sometimes seems that unless you give it away for 99p no one is interested. The amount of times I have had to find packaging, trek to the post office all for 99p . Hope the sales pick up.

Enjoy your weekend, the un planned pottering around ones are my favourite. I hate a jam packed weekend.

We have sunshine here today, hope you do too xxx

    Afternoon Diary,

Well its 12pm and I'm not even dressed... don't even care ha!!

Alice and Steph thanks for popping in. Had 2 items sell for 99p, the others I will save and give to my friend for her little girl. I know what you're saying hardly seems worth it does it!

So the car search ended well yesterday... we've bought a car :j. Not the one we originally saw as on closer inspection it hadn't been looked after and also had a couple of owners. We went round loads of garages and everything was just so highly priced. We ended up going to look at a car in the next town and it was perfect. A little bit more expensive than we originally wanted to spend but it was in perfect condition, only 2 years old and a higher spec than the first one. Im so excited, love a new car. We even managed to get something for our old car which I was totally shocked by as its a right mess on the outside ha!! This new car will last us a good few years now, we've had this one for 5 years and its now over 12 years old but it does not owe us anything. All being well we should keep this for years. Its bigger than the old car too so will be perfect for all our camping stuff. This is my justification anyway and I'm sticking to it :p.

So today, I've been a very busy bee. Flipping kids were up just before 7... do they not know this is illegal on a Sunday!! Ended up getting up just before 8. Have got up to date with my ironing, bedding currently on the line although its raining very finely, beef in the slow cooker, all bathrooms cleaned and hoovered and polished throughout.

We had the renewal for the home insurance through and its gone up so I've gone through qu!dco and got myself a cheaper quote along with £65 cashback. Wont hold my breath for the cb anytime soon though as estimated date is November!!!

Also got another £2 coin yesterday which takes me £26 :T.

Nothing much else to report, hope all ok xx

    Evening Diary,

DH out cycling so I'm just having a little catch up on here and surveys. Managed a 50 point survey and a product on its way to sample. Me and DH are not exactly on speaking terms tonight, he's actually really annoyed me tonight, sick of having to lose it before he takes me seriously. Think he's got the picture now though.

So yesterday I was so busy I didn't sit down til 8.30 and then I was asleep on the sofa for 9.15pm. This was part of my rant with DH, not sitting down til late then being so tired just falling asleep at the drop of a hat. This happened every night last week !!!!!!! Looks like this week is following suit as I'm feeling shattered right now.

Tonights tea was thrown together as Id not got any meat out! Made a bit of a breakfast and it went down well!!!
Had a busy evening, rang the home insurance to cancel, did the shopping online and pegged out when I got home.

Tomorrow I need to collect the shopping whilst kids are at gymnastics, came in at £62 so a little bit more than I usually spend but I seem to have a lot for my money.

Thats about all from me. Hope all ok x
