Snap MTG- a little walk out today landed me in trespass and I bought two pairs of walking shoes for the girls in the half price sale. DD2 is on a cup camp this weekend so needed some decent shoes. She is actually bigger than DD1 so I bought size 1 and 2 with the intention of taking one pair back however she fits in the 2 so if dd1 fits in the 1 I may keep them for her. An expense I wasn't planning but we walk a lot so they could do with some waterproof supportive walking shoes with good grip.

How old are your girls now? Where are you off to on your hols?

    Morning Diary,

Wow what a busy day I had a work yesterday, infact all week I haven't been home before picking the girls up. Took its toll last night and I ended up in bed at 8.30pm!
Im going out with my sister for a few hours today for a catch up with no kids! Will have a nosey round some shops for holiday clothes for ME!

OF, I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I just need to remember now that they're done and I need things for me!! I suppose the holiday clothes and walking shoes are needed, especially if they are half the price like yours were!!! My 2 are 8 and 6 now so quite a nice age for them being able to get on and not be too needy!! I think your 2 are a bit older aren't they? We go to Majorca in 12 weeks :j.

So I managed to get some towels nearly dry yesterday, they are currently on the airer. I had put a load of darks in last night but the weather is going to be so bad today they will be ended up on the airer too. Getting annoyed with this weather!! Tomorrows bad too.

The house is not looking too bad considering its not been hoovered all week ! Will catch up with that and the ironing today.

Hope everyones ok and ready to enjoy the bank holiday weekend!

Ps. Can hear DH getting the hoover out... yes ha :T!! xx

    Morning MTG

Your girls are lovely ages...mine are 12 and 9 so a little older. Woohoo I hope those 12 weeks fly by for you! We are off to the reach Alps. After falling madly in love with Austria last year I desperately wanted a holiday in the mountains again. Nothing flash- cheap flights to Geneva and then a nice eurocamp caravan for the week. Lots of walks and lake swimming planned 😃

Well done Hubby for hoovering...mine got up earlier than me to make breakfast....better get moving now though as its 11.25!

    Morning Diary,

    OF, holiday sounds lovely :).

So I've been awake a while in bed but not long got up. Put a beef and ale stew into the slow cooker and going to add a pastry top for tea, hope it turns out!!!!

So DH has annoyed me yesterday. I was laid comfortably watching TV and he comes and disturbs me and because I told him no leave me be he sulked alllll night! After tea I asked him if he was going to continue to ignore me as if so I would go out. Anyway, he continued so I told him what I thought and stormed off upstairs to bed!! If it had been earlier I would have gone out.
Im sick of his sulking and his veruca salt I want it now attitude. He wonders wheres DD2 gets it from!!! So I said to him you've pushed me too far now don't bother trying to be nice to me tomorrow ha!!

I opened up a case again an ebayer who didn't pay me. Didn't appreciate being charged fees for them not to pay. Anyway, they haven't even replied so I got my fees back.

Im up to 975 points on op world. Just doing a diary survey and then once I get the points for that next week I will transfer them out.

Nothing too much money wise to report. Feel as though my diary has turned into a bit of a keeping up with the housework diary!!

    Hope everyones ok xx

Im sick of him Alice, this is why we ended up with so much debt in the first place as I darent tell him no! He snapped out of it for a few years but he's started up with it again recently.

Well I've just made the final payment to the holiday, 2 weeks in advance woohoo!!

Also remembered I had another 2 £2 coins in my purse so thats £34 now .

Did another survey on op world and balance now stands at 1025 so will wait for this other payout Tuesday and then transfer. Might buy the holiday toiletries out of it.

The stew is smelling amazing!! Hope it tastes as good ha!! x

Well the mood continues! I offered an olive branch earlier which was rejected . Ive basically said me and the kids are going out tomorrow whether he comes or not.

The beef and ale stew/pie was delicious! There was not a single bit left which never happens in this house when I make something new.

Ive also baked some shortbread earlier.

    Today is NSD1 :j xx

Hope you ended up going out. Men can be such (insert rude word) at times why do they do it, what do they get out of it? Hope he snaps out of it soon.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
