            Afternoon Diary,
DD was much better come Saturday morning, which was a relief as I thought we were in for a fun weekend! Thanks PLMBL for your well wishes for DD.
Well 2014 is well and truely the year for everything breaking down here. Latest thing is the oven which tripped all the electrics Saturday night whilst we had friends round. We think *hope* its just the element as everything else is working (grill/fan etc). Ive been and bought a new one today and some new bulbs as that went ages ago. Was £30 so fingers crossed!
Also needed dog food which is a hefty £37 a bag. DH assured me it would last 2 months so didnt budget anything and well you guessed it were a week short! Obviously the dog cant starve and after he was very poorly a few months back we only want the best for him now.. hes is a senior afterall! Im going to set up a dog fund so have put £25 a month in my spread sheet and il see how that pans out.
Nothing much else to report. Busy busy at work and its payday next Tuesday :j.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
            Evening Diary,
DH watching the football so im on here looking at holidays for next year, think theres a bit of wishful thinking on my part here
.
So the good news is that the oven is now back working again thanks to the new element. Although DH informs me he thinks something is going on his bike! Please someone give me a break its totally never ending this cycle of things breaking and costing!
Not really got much to report! Nearing payday even more so!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
            Afternoon Diary,
Its DD2's turn to be off poorly this week! Got sent home from school yesterday feeling sick, was sick last night and now cant go back this week. I do understand the ruling but its sooo annoying when they are right as rain, wanting to eat everything and play out! DH took this morning off and now im home hes gone into work. Tomorrow shes going to MIL.
Payday was Tuesday :j. Nothing much to report on that front. I got my shopping coming from Mr T's later on, only spent £45 so not bad at all. Next week will probably be a big shop.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, sorry to hear DD is poorly, it's difficult enough juggling work and child care when they are well let alone when they are ill.
Wish DD a speedy recovery.
Roll on pay day!:)

            Evening Diary,
Alice, thank you for your well wishes for DD, shes totally fine and will be going back to school tomorrow.
So its been quite a spendy weekend. We were out as a family Friday night for my friends 30th. All paid for out of our 'family spending money'. Yesterday I was out all day with the friends for the same birthday, money spent out of my 'spending money!'. Today has been a NSD... hooray!!! Its been a good one though so mustnt complain.
Had a couple of £2 coins this weekend so just been and checked my stash as id lost track and ive got £70 and then £7 in other bits of change. Im so pleased with how well im doing with them all for our little trip to CP's in October.
I feel a bit mean today as ive (well we and DH had mentioned it too) told the kids that they cant be feeding the whole street when mine and DH's backs are turned. Biscuits, crisps etc theyre freely handing out. Today DH caught DD2 making massive cup fulls of milkshake for some of the kids! She probably used over a pint and now im going to have to buy more before I go shopping again! Then DD1 decided to get a boy off street some apple juice! I feel really mean but its getting a bit tiring now, I cant seem to get a weeks worth of shopping in before the kids start handing it all out! I think its really nice that my kids want to share but its just costing me at least another £10 a week if not more topping it all back up again!
DH gets paid tomorrow so the bank account will look lovely for the day. Will do meter readings next week aswell.
Hope everyones ok... 3.5 weeks to work before 6 weeks off :j not that im counting or anything!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy glad to hear DD is feeling better.
As for the kids handing treats out, I buy cheap icepops 89p for 20 in aldi and offer those out if kids are playing with friends, also make choc crispie cakes using smartprice choc and smartprice cornflakes, I hide any expensive treats otherwise it ends up costing a fortune.0 -
            Evening Diary,
Well yet another busy week and weekend are passing me by again.
I havent even had chance to breathe this week with work, transition meetings etc. Today weve been to the Tour De France as we live in good old Yorkshire! It was really good but didnt take food with us as we were on public transport and didnt want to lug stuff around, spent too much money but hey ho.We had a really good space at the front of the railings and we werent even being pushed from behind. The kids were so well behaved too, even the lady at the side of us commented! At least they know when to behave :rotfl:.
Pennywise, Im glad im not the only one with kids handing things out. I do have cheap icepops etc but they choose to give them whatever their having ie cornettos and other lollies.Theyve stopped since we gave them a talking to.
Nothing much planned for tomorrow, seriously need a day at home not hungover or tired from the night before to get the house in order. Ive got a chicken out the freezer for us to have a good meal and then leftovers for sandwiches.
Hope everyones ok... 2.5 weeks until the 6 weeks hols are upon us xxMummytogirls x0 -
            Morning Mummy

I saw some friends pics on fb yesterday of the tour up in yorkshire
looked good. My kids know not to hand out treats to all and sundry as they also got the "talk" the last time they did it
I hide it all out of reach now so they can't be tempted
Hope you have a nice relaxing day xx0 -
            Afternoon Diary,
Just taken me ages to find this diary, couldnt see for looking!
Well another busy start to the week, sooo looking forward to the holidays which just so happens to be 2 weeks tomorrow when we break up.
I am really shattered but was thank ful to have Sunday at home to catch up and ive even managed a few of my holiday jobs
.
Its all pay out this week. So far paid for milk and school photos, im sure there will be something else before the end of term.
The weather is shocking here right now, it keeps thundering! I had stripped off the spare bed as DH slept in there last week when he was unwell but with the weather havent managed to peg it out yet. Will wait til we come back from school and see how the weathers looking.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0
