Afternoon Diary,
Just waiting in for sky coming over our persistent broadband problems. DH has also booked the afternoon off but hes gone out for his hair cutting!
So ive now broken up for just short of 2 weeks :j. Chrysalis its nice to have a few days without the kids as since I have all the holidays with the kids and rightly so! Its just nice to have a few days.
Got my wage slip today and ive got an extra £100 for overtime which will go towards the holiday fund.
DH and I are having a hm curry for tea once the kids are in bed, will give them something quick. Have a lovely weekend everyone xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Well what a miserable day it is today! Had to do some washing as its not looking like its going to brighten up anytime soon. Put the heating on to dry it and warm the house a bit rather than put it in the TD.
Weve been out to the cheap morning at the cinema today, took our own supplies to make it cheaper. Then we called at the fish shop on the way home, £3.60 spent and we are all stuffed!!
Just done the shopping with Mr T's to be delivered on Tuesday. I picked a £1 delivery slot and used the £6 CC vouchers and also a £10 off voucher they sent me.
Think thats all from me. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Nothing exciting at all to report!
Yesterday the weather was pants... AGAIN! We went to go outdoors and bought the rest of the stuff we needed for our camping. They had 15% off everything camping and it would appear everyone descended buying everything we wanted! So we spent £100 in store and then came home and spent a further £80 online!!! We qualified for free delivery to our house. So thats everything bought now. Weve spent £480 which may seem a lot but this will set up up for breaks away for some years... so I hope!
Today is the first dry day weve had so ive got a load of washing pegged out already and another in the machine. We were hoping to put the tent up today but the ground is too wet at the moment. DH wants to go up to a field nearby but I dont fancy doing that so hes in a mood with me at the moment . Always got to be their way hasnt it! Dont know what he thinks is going to happen if the ground should be wet when we pitch up away from home :rotfl:.
Payday tomorrow :j. Cant wait but basically its already spent in my head already. Too much to buy not enough money!!!
Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Camping gear can be expensive but doesn't need to be and certainly should get many trips out of it, my dh has a friends who turns up with kit that is just so impractical e.g. a blow up mattress with a pillow that was just a nightmare to use and that was purely a test in the house so I couldn't imagine what he was going to do in the great outdoors!
I think we pretty much have everything except a 2 man tent coming this week from a friends ready for a little trip to Snowdonia on Friday, hoping that if it does rain that it will be light.

Morning Diary,
Its payday :j. Just done a bit of transferring to DH for his 'spending money' and to the joint account my overtime towards the camping trips. Love payday! This hasnt always been the case though, I used to hate it as it just became another month of juggling.
So today, im going to get back in my routine with the kids now DH has gone back to work! Were off out to meet DD2's little friend at 11am so that will be costly as its at soft play (cant really do much else weather pants... again!). Will take that money from the family money we have each month. Then im off to get my nails done tonight... using my own 'spending money' of course
.
Waiting on 3 parcels this week - 1 with clothes for me in, 1 for some clothes for DD1 and the other the camping things we ordered. Whos guessing they turn up when we are out!
Chrysalis, enjoy your camping trip and I hope the weather holds out for you!
Think thats all from me. Havent had a £2 coin for ages, currently stuck at £54. Hoping to get some more soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
I'm also waiting in for a parcels today
-an impractical paddling pool (considering we're now expecting rain for the rest of the hols
) and a polo shirt for ds1 (he will only wear the one with the school badge on and not a plain one, grrr- snob!)
I'm debating camping, i've only every been once with ds1 and I had no idea how to put the tent up, I was very thankful i'd gone with a friend and I sat by helplessly as she put it up on her own
I think it's a nice cheap way to see the country though and I have friends who go to France camping every year, I thought that may be a cheap way to get the kids to euro disney? I've missed the offers now though on the shops I think so will have to wait for the next one

Morning Diary,
Weather was actually not bad yesterday as it turns out. Managed to get some washing pegged out and the car hoovered when we returned home from soft play which I wasnt expecting. Today is a different matter and it is chucking it down.
Mr T's came with my order on time.. £71 and we seemed to get loads. I just need to pop to the farmshop for meat now.
Meeting up with another friend today then ive got a couple of the neighbours round for holiday drinks tonight!
DFW, did your parcel come? Mine did, I wasnt in but luckily my neighbour was! You could try camping and pitch the tent in the garden beforehand so you know what youre doing??!! Got another parcel due today and I probably wont be in again!
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good for neighbours who will take in parcels, mine is ace. Sounds like another busy day!

Morning Diary,
Well its Friday and its DH's payday so the joint bank account is looking healthy today!! Was going to transfer some money out but think il wait until the direct debits start going out and keep it looking nice haha!!!
So I didnt really do much yesterday and it was also a NSD but I didnt get much done around the house either so that needs to change today. Going to write a list so that will keep me on track. Also need to pop out and buy 3 birthday presents for parties the kids are attending this weekend. No idea what to buy, as cheap as possible really!!! I just need to check ive got the cards in my drawer which I think I have.
Weather is going to be dry over the weekend so I need to get some washing in and pegged out.
Have a lovely weekend all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Im back for a little update! Done a few jobs around the house and pegged out but still a few bits to do.
Been out to B M stores and picked up some presents and a few other bits for £20. Then we popped into the card f@ctory and got 4 cards which we needed for £2.66, always feel like ive got a bargain when ive been in there.
Then to the farmshop for £18 on meat, even bought another pack of sausages to freeze for when we go away camping.
Back home now and having a little catch up whilst the kids are playing out and before I start on tea. Fahitas tonight.. yum! Im actually feeling hungry now!
Im out tomorrow and its going to be costly as were going to quite a big town. Ive got my spending money set aside for it though. Hoping as we are going early we will be on the last train back rather than taxis!
Just updated my signature after making a small payment today xxMummytogirls x0
