  • Morning Diary,

Not in the best of moods this morning as the ebay saga continues. Basically the seller wouldnt refund me so Ive escalated and Ebay have filed in her favour! They havent even looked at the evidence. Really cant believe it so she has our money plus the Royal Mail refund once she gets it. DH is going to appeal and ring up once hes back from walking the dog.
No faith in it anymore and certainly will not be using it again. It got me through some tricky times when I need to sell everything to get pay bills, but now its just causing stress!

Nothing else to report on, will update once DH has rung them xx

  • Morning Diary,

Wow its so windy here today and threatening heavy rain.. boo!! Tried pegging out but my washing kept blowing off and with the grey clouds ive ended up bringing it in and sticking it in the TD. Ive put it in for a slightly less time with it being a bit dry but still id rather not be using it!

So DH is out with the DD's at swimming and ive just sat down after cleaning. Just need to hoover and mop the kitchen now but may aswell wait until after tea now. I finished my ironing and hung that all up aswell.

The good news from yesterday is that we got a refund from ebay after appealing the decision. They have apologised and shouldnt have closed the case based on the evidence.

Nothing much planned today. Have a chicken to roast for tea and then its pretty much the usual Sunday school night stuff to do. Got my shopping coming between 12-1. It was originally scheduled for Monday but I was running out of eggs, milk and juice so ive brought it forward a day.

Nothing else really to report. Looking forward to starting my new job tomorrow!!! Hope everyones had a nice weekend xx

  • It's very wet and miserable here today, although you'll know that if you've seen anything of the Great North Run coverage! All my washing is drying indoors boo.

    Good luck for tomorrow Xx

  • Glad your ebay got refunded but rather annoying that they didn't do the right thing in the first place! I haven't used ebay in a while, I don't like the fees, postage costs and negative feedback (not that i've had anything particularly bad). Hope the new job is going well too :)
  • Afternoon Diary,

Very long time no post! Had a very busy couple of weeks starting my new job and also going to Ibiza for the hen do.

Job going very well, really enjoying the reduced hours and getting more time to do my housework!!!

Ibiza was fab and im still 4 days on recovering from the lack of sleep!!!!
Brought back 150 Euros so ive changed that back, got £115 towards my new living room curtains. We are having a quick redecorate before Christmas in the living room so thats probably the most expensive thing taken care of!

So good news moneywise is that DH also got accepted for a 0% card!!!! This means that most of the debt bar £1900 is on 0%. Will try do some moving around so we can get it all on 0%.
It would have been my payday today but I now get paid 4 weekly and the next pay date is 15th October so still another 2 weeks to go.

Were still managing without the heating, hopefully we can go beyond the 1st October which is my target date!! Ive pegged out today and the sun has just made an appearance so hopefully it will dry.

DD2 has settled really well into full time, which I knew she would! Shes a little more tired but early to bed is sorting that out :D.

    Hope everyones ok xx
