  • Morning Diary,

Thanks for my birthday wishes ladies! Feels like a long time ago already!

So im not feeling so good if im honest. Been sneezing my head off all morning (which is quite usual for me!) but im also coughing and my chest hurts when I cough. Going to take my inhaler and if I still feel rubbish tomorrow il go to the drs.

I need to go get dressed and get the kids sorted as ive got an optician appointment at 9.40am. So today will be a spend day, only a small one mind as ive got a £5 eye test voucher.

The washer is on and although its overcast again today, it will be getting pegged out!

Meant to say I did my meter readings yesterday and were finally in a decent credit £70, cant believe its taken all summer to get into credit and now its getting cold again grrr!!!

Thats all from me! Catch up soon xx

  • Hello me again!

Back from the opticians, all well as I thought it would be and I had a voucher for a £5 eye test so thats all it cost. Popped into Mr M's as theres a card factory in there and picked up 9... yes 9 cards for £1.98! Love that place!!

Operation mums in charge is in full swing today! Ive fallen into the habit (with me working from home and keeping them quiet!) of letting them pick and choose whatever they want from the cupboards. This stops now, I did start last week but when DH is here is often falls by the wayside as your not sure what one parent has agreed etc! So they have fruit and yoghurt or similar after lunch and only after tea once theyve eaten it all do they get a treat of their choice (obviously within what weve got in!). Ive also cut them up some carrot sticks that they can help themselves too!
So ive done my Mr T shop to come tomorrow, had to ring them about my £5 off voucher as I hadnt received it cheeky swines! Ordered some healthy snacks and babybels etc for them.

Nothing more for now! Quick tea of scrambled eggs on toast tonight x

  • Hi Mummy,

I've just caught up with your diary, sorry I missed your Birthday. Hope you had a lovely day.

There has been a mini heat wave the last few years in late September so don't put your bikini in the loft just yet lol...its actually sunny here today and there is a good forecast for the week. :j

It will soon be time to hibernate :(

  • Morning diary,

I havent updated for a few days, weve been off out enjoying the sunshine!

Yesterday we went off to a local park (about 15 mins drive). Took a picnic and £10 cash and spent £7.50 on the little train, ice-creams and parking so not bad for 3 hours out.
Called at the local Mr S on the way back and bought DD's some new goggles, ive been searching these ones out for a while as they adjust really easy at the back and I was quizzing one of the other parents at swimming the other week about them! When we got there they were half price plus I bought a quiche as I love them from Mr S, £10.39 spent so not bad.

Today will be a NSD as we are staying in. Ive got the girls coming round for birthday tea for me and another friend so need to clean (like you do when you have friends coming round!) and make a chilli for us and spaghetti bolognaise for DH and DD's.

Kids out playing at the minute, just waiting for the fighting to start! They all need to get back to school now, theyve seen enough of each other now!

Thats about it from me. Hope everyones ok xx

  • Morning diary,

Well the weather has completely changed and it raining all day today! Ive pretty much got up to date with my washing but will just wait until Sunday to do some more! Im using it as a welcome break from the kids playing out as im sick to death of them all scrapping and arguing every 2 minutes.

So yesterday was NSD2 and I spent the day cooking and cleaning. The house is still lovely and tidy which I like a lot!

Today will be a spend day as ive promised to the take the kids to soft play for their last day of the hols. Hope everyone hasnt thought the same with the weather being sh!te!!

Im also annoyed with 3bay... not actual 3bay but a seller. Basically my parcel never arrived, it was sent recorded delivery and it was signed for by a chain of shops somewhere within Yorkshire! Royal Mail have confirmed this in writing and I have even gone above and beyond by ringing all the local stores to try and locate it to no avail. Anyway, I said to her last week Royal Mail have said you need to claim using this form so I would appreciate a refund etc etc. She never refunded so Ive opened up a case. Then last night shes started updating the 3bay info saying that it was signed by either me or DH when you can clearly see its not us and the printing name is the chain of shops. I have done more than I needed to as a buyer and now she has p!ssed me right off! Even the letter which I have sent her a copy of states that she the sender needs to claim. She had best refund my money asap. DH also had a problem with something he sold getting apparently 'damaged' which he fails to believe as it was wrapped within an inch of its life! So I think my 3bay days are over, havent got time for all this messing about!

Thats all from me anyway! Hope everyones ok xx

  • Hi Mummy,

You know what? I got sick of 3bay too. I always look on Amazon now and other places which are just as cheap, I can't be bothered with the hassle. Hope you get your money back...you should do if you've opened a dispute but you shouldn't have to chase down the parcel.

Roll on Monday when the kids go back. Im loving it that DD is full time, my child minder bill goes down and I don't have as much washing as she stays in her uniform all day. Its all good ha ha.

  • Hi Livvy,

Tbh until Ive started looking into it I didnt realise she should have been doing it all along. Nope had enough, not using it anymore, not worth it like you say.

Haha its all win win with the kids going full time!!! xx
