    Morning Diary,

Its really cold out today isnt it... still we must keep the heating off!! Ive put a load of washing in this morning on the off chance that the BBC are wrong and in actual fact it wont be raining when I get home at 3pm! If they are right and it is raining I will have to use the TD . Going to save up the rest of the washing for the weekend when I will be around more and can just bring it in if it rains.

DFW, we dont have an ice cream van that comes to the street but we do have one bang smack outside the school gates!

So the steak last night was absolutely gorgeous, it really is my fave!
Freezer surprise for tea tonight :D.

Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

Herhum what was I saying about the heating?! Sneakily put it on for an hour as its chilly and cant bear going back out in this rain to the garage for the TD :D!

So ive had both DDs home together for 10 minutes and theyre fighting like cat and dog ! Ive just confiscated their Nexus's as they were scrapping over a game they join on... I did warn them! Defo early to bed for them.

The weather is absolutely pants here, throwing it down with rain and windy... seriously unimpressed!!!!!

DH is going out to some thai boxing or something tonight so that will give me the chance to catch up on last nights apprentice.

Only spends today £20 on petrol xx

Hi mummy, '' to having to put the heating on, I'm sitting here in a fleece and padded gillet having refused to put the heating on but it's more like October out there.

Fingers crossed for some decent pegging out weather this weekend.:rotfl:

    Morning Diary,

Alice, I know ! You are such a MSE putting on extra layers :money:, I deserve for my badges to be confiscated for that :rotfl: haha!!!!

So its Friday :j, so glad as I am shattered this week. Cheek of it considering its been a 4 day week!!!

Last nights tea was a bit random using bits and bobs up. I had cheese and onion pasty, chips and beans, DH had fish, chips and beans and the kids had pizza!
Tonight is the reggae chicken I cooked earlier in the week. Defrosted it overnight with some rice we already had frozen.
Kids were in bed at 7 and I managed to chill and catch up on some programmes which was nice!

Today I need to buy some birthday presents for a party we have tomorrow. Got to love joint parties especially when you know both kids, they split the cost and you have to buy 2 presents !!

Nothing much else planned for the weekend, expect the lovely food shopping. I have a £4 off £30 for Mr T's so will be using that.
My Mr A's giftcard hasnt arrived yet, will give them til Monday before I start phoning them!!!!

Think thats all from me! Happy Friday :D xx

    Morning Mummy

Thats a reall bugbear of mine as well - joint parties = 2 gifts.

When DD had a joint present we just wrote on the invitation that if they would like to bring a gift to just bring one and the girls would share them out at the end. They end up with so many presents at parties it gets ridiculous, funnily enough after we did that for DD all the joint parties have followed our idea!

    Have a good day x

    Good Morning Diary,

Cant believe its Monday already... boooo!!! Had a nice weekend even though it was pretty wet. Managed to get 2 loads 1/2 dry on the line which is better than none!

Had NSD2 on Saturday :j, did spend £12 on the girls some sandals yesterday but I did sell their old sandpit for £15 so technically I didnt spend!! Will still count it as a spend though.

Managed to list 11 items on ebay on Saturday and have 1 bid so far and only 1 watcher! Hope it picks up by Saturday.

The car is booked in for its MOT next Monday... eeekkkk!!! I have £200 set aside but I am seriously hoping its not going to cost that much. Everything seems ok, maybe the brakes might need changing but doesnt it always seem like that!!!

Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

  • Morning :)

Talk of parties on lots of threads lately :) I have 2 of mine with birthday's in July. I usually do a joint party as I can't afford 2 separate ones :o but I generally tended to only invite family and close friends who would have bought both a pressie each anyway so no extra cost to them ;) But this year is DD's first year in school (she's in reception) so I haven't planned a party yet but i'm thinking I may let her invite 4 friends and then let DS2 invite 4 of his nursery friends so they will each have the same amount of presents/friends and I can still split the costs :rotfl: The local soft-play centre does a party for 10 at around £80 i think with play time, food and party bags so i'm thinking on it  it means my house doesn't get trashed either because we've always done them at home before!

I hope your MOT comes in cheap. I'm still waiting after 13 years of driving to have a clean MOT with no advisories :rotfl: I can but dream..........:D

    Morning Diary,

Im not feeling too good today, thought I was just tired yesterday but I have this horrendous headache that I cant seem to shift, could just roll back in to bed! If I got sick pay I might have well rung in sick today which is not like me at all.

DFW, I totally understand why people do joint parties and im sure most like you have good reason and take consideration to who they are inviting! DD1 has got an invite to a 3 way party in a few weeks !!!! Re MOT's last year mine only cost me £45!!!! I thought he must have missed a 1 off the front when he rung me up :rotfl:. The tyres are sorted already so fingers crossed!!!!

So yesterday was NSD3 :j, today wont be though as its ice cream day and im having my nails done tonight.
Forgot to mention yesterday I sold my old phone on env!rophone for £14, just waiting for their envelope to arrive so I can post it off and get my cheque!

Ive put a load of washing in this morning and im hoping I can peg out when I get home. Although heavy rain forecast at 3pm so we will see!!!

Think thats all from me. Catch up soon xx

Sorry you are feeling not so good today - hopefully it will pass and you feel better before the day is out.

Good to hear about the envirophone, every little helps! :)

Just wanted to say that I have read your blog and I understand how you are feeling. I hope the temper tantrums have eased off a bit now - but i'm sure every parent experiences the same thing. These things are sent to triers after all! :)
