    Morning Diary,

Another glorious day here, washer on as we speak :D!

So last night did not go as planned at all!
Got home from work with the kids, theyd gone back out to play and id been in the house literally 5 minutes before the childminder who lives more or less on our street rang me to say DD1 had fallen and could I go to her house. I knew it must have been serious for her to call me so I ran round and DD was sat there on the bottom step with a teatowel covered in blood. My CM removed the teatowel and she had a gaping hole in her chin . CM bandaged her up, im so glad she got to her first tbh as I would not have known what to do! Then her and DH went off to A+E! DD2 was a bit upset by it all and was very quiet and also wouldnt go to bed! The kids on the street were all there and one of the little girls was crying bless her! She kept coming round and asking when they would be back and what if she had to sleep there!!!! So im expecting lots of knocking on the door from them all today!
They finally got home around 9pm, theyd had mentioned about glueing it but they just butterly stitched it in the end. I wasnt quite sure how they would stitch it tbh as it was a hole rather than a cut.
So instead of my meal out I ended up with 2 crumpets and about a million biscuits !!!! Bloody kids, who'd have em!!!

They were both up before 6 this morning , I knew they would do. DD was complaining it felt bruised, cant say im surprised really!

So the plan for today is to do a bit of work, get showered and dressed and take DD2 to the childminders. Ive got mince out for a bolognaise so need to make that at some point.
Also peg out my whites and probably get another load in :D be rude not to since im here today.

Mr A's have finally released the money back into my account... about flipping time! xx

  • Oh no your poor daughter, hope she is not feeling too sore and your nerves are back to normal.

I'm positive that my grey hairs and wrinkles are due to the stress of children:rotfl:.
  • Sorry to hear about your daughters accident. Bet she was the star of the show at school with her butterfly stitches though! Hope it heals quickly Xx

Oh the memories of whiling away the time in children's A&E! If she's anything like most kids she'll be proud of her "trophy" once the initial shock has worn off! Hope she's recovering well.

    Morning Diary,

Just popping in for a quick catch up! Thanks for all your comments on DD, shes ok but keeps messing with the stitches. Im a bit worried its going to end up popping back open!
This is the 1st A+E trip in 6.5 years so we havent done bad really, hope thats the last but I doubt it!
Some of the kids off the street came round and posted her some cards, how cute!!!
Theyre at MIL's today and im in work.

So yesterday what a gorgeous day it was. I got 4... yes 4 loads of washing dry yesterday :D. Its a bit overcast here today but ive got another load out! My washing basket is empty now but for how long! Will be turning my attentions to the bedding and curtains if the nice weather keeps up :rotfl:.

    So plans for the weekend..

    - a trip to B & Q for some things for the garden and kitchen
    - clean the car seat where the brake fluid soaked through
    - grocery shopping

DD1 has been invited to her friends for tea tomorrow so im sure DD2 will have a good whinge about that when she finds out! I will let her choose our tea and she might feel better about it!

Think thats all from me. Happy Bank Holiday weekend after 4pm!!!! xx

    Morning Diary,

Well the sun seems to have taken his hat back off lol!!! Luckily ive no washing for today!

PLMBL, I know weve done well havent we! DD2 is a bit more cautious like me so hopefully she might avoid it like I always did as a kid!! Apparently DH was always up at A+E and DD1 is like him, so lets see!!!

Yesterday I popped to Mr T's on the way home and did the shopping. Spent £40 and received a £4 off a £30 shop for next week. Also got another load of washing dry :).

So today DD1 is off to her friends this afternoon and then I think me, DH and DD2 will go to B&Q to see if we can get our bits for the kitchen.
Weve lived here in this house for 6 years today, cant believe it!!! DD was exactly 6 months old on that day, cant believe how things have changed in the 6 years weve lived here!

Right think thats all from me catch up soon xx
