Evening diary,
Just having a little catch up whilst DH watches one of his programmes!
Not happy with DH! He left a bottle of brake fluid in my car behind my seat in the little pocket which has been leaking! I think its ruined my coat and its got on my trousers from today and dress from Saturday. You cant tell on the clothes but I really dont think its going to come out of my coat.
So tonight, had my tea which DH had cooked which was omelette, chips and beans. He took DD2 swimming whilst I helped DD1 with her homework. Then whilst she got in the bath I hoovered and ironed and have now only just finished the Mr A's shop online! £85 delivered, so not too bad. Will see what turns up on Friday when it comes!
DFW, I really cant cope with hangovers anymore. I remember before the kids we would be out every bank holiday Sunday and then I had to work the Mondays. Dont know how I did it either... there would be no chance of me doing that now haha!!! TBH I was probably driving to work still drunk
Im just going to finish my post and then get ready for bed... excited for Broadchurch, has anyone else been watching it?
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary!
4 days until payday :j. My petrol light came on as I was driving home last night so ive put £10 in this morning which will last until Friday, im working from home Thursday anyway so only my journey home and tomorrow to go! Ive also parked in the free car park today.
So this morning ive pegged out :T. Its not overly sunny but it is breezy so fingers crossed for dry clothes this afternoon when I get home. Ive also got some roast beef in gravy out of the freezer to reheat for tea with mash and veg and ive got mince out to make a pasta bolognaise for tomorrow.
Nothing more to report... over and out!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi DFW,
It was a drama thing on ITV, Monday nights at 9pm. You might be able to get it on itvplayer if you were that fussed about it! It was really good with loads of twists and turns, I think its been on for about 6 weeks. They had a few suspects and the cast didnt know who did it either as they must have filmed a few endings!!!!
Oh the roast beef was leftovers from last weeks Sunday roast. Thought id best make an effort since we didnt have a decent meal on Sunday haha!!!! Plus its the day I leave early so I have time to sort it out xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, yay payday is just around the corner. :j Shame about the coat, wonder if there are any tips on the 'interweb' on how to get it out?
I totally agree with dfw.....roast beef on a Tuesday, yum yum.

Hi Mummy,
Sorry I have been MIA for a while, been in a right mood with myself...must be the steroids that have made me all miserable.
Payday this week YIPPEEEE.
I had to put petrol in on Saturday booo, really wanted to make it to pay day but I had to give in. I got to the station on fumes lol.
I'm with you on hangovers these days, I used to love a Sunday session esp Bank Holidays. Now I worry too much about how I am going to feel before I even touch a drink...I never thought I'd see the day when I became sensible!
I agree with Alice, check tinterweb for getting coat clean...I am the Google queen.

Morning Diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up before I start some work!!
2 days until payday :j. Hurry up payday as you are also Friday haha!!!
Hi Alice and Livvy, you will be pleased to hear that I had put a fbk status on about the brake fluid and a friend suggested washing up liquid. So I rubbed a load in and then stuck it in the washer and I think its come out! Driving with a towel on my seat today  to stop it getting on clothes until I can clean the car seat.
Hope your feeling better now Livvy.
Soooo I really need to muster up some motivation from somewhere as since my week off I really cant get back into work! In my heart I think its time to look for a new job but in my head I need to stick with it a bit longer and get this debt paid off. That will give me a better choice for which jobs I apply for.
Think thats all from me today. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
1 day until payday :j.
So were all up and ready early this morning! Usually at this point the kids are just dressed and im flying upstairs to get ready. I suppose getting up 25 minutes earlier than usual helps.
So DD1 has been the joker of this morning... last week she was desperate to do martial arts at school so I paid the £20 for her to do it and the first class is tonight. First thing she said when she came into our room this morning "oh ive changed my mind, I dont want to do it" I think this is what woke me straight up haha!!! Without even opening my eyes I said well tough your doing it haha!!!! Honestly, I am not having them think we will pay out for them to do stuff and then they can just pull out of it. No chance what so ever!
Anyway im working from home today so ive logged on a bit early to catch up. Need to take DD's to school and then pop to the post office with some parcels for work.
No idea what im going to cook for tea. We do have a jar of pasta bake sauce so may end up cooking that. Not sure I really fancy it tbh!
Nothing else to report! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Me again!
So I spoke to DH earlier and we decided that we would have pasta bake for tea. Needed some cheese so popped to the coop before picking DD2 up and spent £6 on cheese, butter, apple pie and custardand some sweets for the girls. It was supposed to be NSD6... heyho nevermind!
Cant wait to take delivery of my shopping tomorrow, I feel like old mother hubbard haha :rotfl:. Thing is its not coming until after 6pm so we will need to sort sommat for tomorrow nights tea. I need to pop into town at lunchtime tomorrow for some birthday cards so I might pop into MnS and buy something nice for tea whilst im there.
My mum is hilarious, had her on the phone earlier moaning about the joys of working and not having time to do anything... I was like thats the joys of working full time mother! I wouldnt mind, shes only being working full time since last August! Shes never really had to work before so obviously its a bit of a shock to the system for her!
Got to go back out shortly to pick DD1 up from her self defence class. Im hoping that Thursday's will be better weather than this so that I can just stay out at the park with DD2 rather than coming back for an hour and then going back out. I would be tempted to go back in the car but DH has it so looks like more getting rained on for us! Bloody weather!
xxMummytogirls x0 -
I hope DD liked the marital arts after all that?? lol
i've also ruined my long run of nsd's lol but we were desperate for food!! And I was the same as you this morning. The dog woke me up at 6.30 (alarm goes off at 7) and i was up and about ...in fact it was so nice i am thinking of doing it every day to get a quiet cuppa inMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
