Morning diary,
All is well here! DH got to France eventually after being diverted to Italy due to fog . I really feel his pain when I know hes doing something he doesnt like, I worry like hes one of the kids haha! Its something he needs to get over though as hes got to do this for his job now. Not sure how often but still! Next trip is Germany in October unless another creeps in beforehand.
I was so shattered by the time we had got home last night. Had to take both DD's to DD2's lesson and just as I was getting DD2 dry, DD1 had a massive nosebleed! It was bleeding for about 10 minutes, I started to get a bit panicky as it didnt show any sign of stopping. Poor DD2 was stood naked covered in talc haha! Luckily my friend was there who got her dressed for me whilst I sorted DD1 out.
Got them to bed and then I was in bed for 9pm myself!
I woke up just before my alarm this morning which never happens. Had to wake DD's up at 7am and they were both shattered poor things. All sorted in the house, even managed to hoover and sweep up and get kids to school and me to work on time!
Nothing to report moneywise. Need milk and school shoes today! Will leave work a bit early and pop to Mr A's on the way home and hopefully get the shoes sorted.
Have parked in the free car park today... every little helps!
I cant remember if I said previously but we are going to Devon in July so this morning ive written down all the expenditure... even down to petrol and the dog boarding fees and popped into my spreadsheet how much we need to take out each month to save. This will mean the extra debt payments will reduce between now and August as they come from the extra money in the joint account, but we are trying to do everything and it doesnt work! That will still mean that our savings remain untouched... you cant have everything I suppose!
Think thats all from me. Nice easy tea of jacket potatoes tonight! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon mummy
I had a similar episode just before the easter hols with school shoes! I went to put DD's on her and the soles had literally fallen off and were only being held on by a tiny bit of glue  she ended up in wellies that day :rotfl: lucky for me though it had been snowing so she didn't look a complete wally in bright pink peppa pig wellies :rotfl: (not that i'm saying yours do....:o)

Morning Diary,
Hi DFW321, haha luckily kids can get away with wellies cant they!
I did manage to get to Mr A's but they only had 1 pair of size 13's and they are just not right. Going to take them back to a different Mr A's this afternoon and try and get her some.
Shes still in her wellies today, but it is raining so she can get away with it haha!!! They also choose to wear their summer dresses today... so theyve got them on with tights !!
Today wont be a NSD as I needed change for parking so popped to Mr T's for some milk for work.
Think thats all from me for now. Day 3 of being a single mum and its still going ok, still organised! Its the night times when the kids are in bed that you feel lonely. Only one more night and then hes back.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
My dd also wore her summer dress today lol, with thick black tights and a jumper! My DH is away on Monday for 2 weeks but i'm quite looking forward to having the bed to myself (shhhh don't tell him
) lol x

Morning Diary,
DH is back, was really pleased to see him!
The weather is absolutely pants here at the minute, Weds night I hardly slept because of the gale force winds and then it seems like its been raining ever since.
DFW321, my 2 are back in trousers and wellies today! Will you miss DH? Dont think I could do 2 weeks on my own... think 4 days is my max... maybe 5! I am getting better, I remember the first time he went away about 10 years ago, I was gutted and felt like my right arm had been chopped off!! Silly c0w haha!!!
So today im working from home as mil who usually picks DD2 up for me has a funeral to attend. DD doesnt know im picking her up... cant wait to see her face when she sees me!
Really need to go shopping, havent been for over week which it has helped with DH not being here. I might need to pick DH up from work and if so theres a massive Mr T's over the road so il do it there before collecting him. Dont need that much really.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
Aww to you missing DH when he's away. I'm hardened to my DH going away now as its what he's done all the time I've known him. I quite like it when he's away, no snoring, no nasty smells, bed to myself, watch what I want on tv, go to bed early, no moaning about the kids. He's away this week for a night and I'm looking forward to the peace and quiet already!
Have a good day xx0 -
I'm used to him going away now, he's in the army so has been on tour for 6/7 months at a time with only a 2 week r&r in between
on his first tour I was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and they sent him! Luckily i went overdue and they sent him back just in time (2 days before i had her) but the next 4/5 months were tough! But having a baby kept me busy lol. The second time I had a 14 month old and a 2 month old (as well as ds1 who was 12) so again was busy
Luckily the longest he's been away recently was only 12 weeks so is cope-able! Like choo says though you soon get hardened to it xx

Hi mummy
Just having my first experience of being on my own in 30 years since OH went into hospital. Taking some getting used to - this is the third Saturday night he's been in but hey I have the remote control!!!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning Diary,
Thanks for all your comments. I am getting more used to DH being away. Hes got a few more trips in the diary so il probably be well used to it by the end of the year.
Although that said dont think I could cope with 3 weeks SA or 6/7 months DFW!!!!
So what to report... had a nice weekend, not really done much... went out Saturday night and was hungover in bed until lunch time yesterday . Me and drinking dont do well at the moment, every time I drink (which isnt often this is the 2nd time in 6 months) im sick the next day haha!! I was never like this when I used to sneak out at 16!! Im sure ive heard people say the hangovers get worse with age.. joy!
Yesterday was NSD4, DH bought us a pizza for tea and it was sooooo nice! NSD5 today :T. Payday on Friday cannot come quick enough for me yippee!!!!! And its a 4 weeker aswell so I get paid 4 weeks later.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
it's true about the hangovers lol. I never got one until i was about 25! I'm 34 now and they last for 2 days usually
hence the reason why i never drink really anymore, it's just not worth it! I used to be able to drink all night, sleep for 5 hours and get up and go to work all day! That would kill me doing that now lol xx
