Evening Diary,
Wow cant believe ive not been on here for half a week... where has the time gone haha!!
Thanks for DH's birthday wishes he had a nice day.
So im not sure what ive been up to tbh! Had a NSD yesterday number 8 I think. Really need to up my game next week to get to 10!!
We were supposed to go out last night for a meal with DH's friends but DD2 wasnt well so we didnt go. Probably for the best as it snowed really badly here and I wouldnt have settled knowing I couldnt get back to DD if she turned worse or something. Shes ok now, still had a bit of a temp today but not as bad. Its raining and blowing a gail out there now so hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are going for a carvery for tea since we didnt go out last night... yum!!
Oh I know what ive been up to, Thursday night I went to Mr A's and spent £119 on food (big shop!) and £62 on petrol. Weve got lots of nice things in plus full freezer and cupboards.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hope you have a lovely meal out and i hope DD is eeling a lot brighter today.0

Afternoon Diary,
Just having a quick break so thought id have a little catch up on here as I wont have time tonight.
Had a horrendous nights sleep, just kept tossing and turning, not sure what my issue was haha!! I watched TV for a bit at 5am and then nodded back off at about 5.45! DD's came in at 6.15!
Actually having a very productive day at work. I have definitely found that being more organised at home is making me more organised at work. Plus I went through my diary this morning and coming up ive got a few working from home days and odd days off so I think that always helps!
Last night I wrote myself a little rota of house work. Every Sunday after spending hours getting the house back straight I promise myself I will keep up to it and I never do. So hopefully this might help spur me into action!!!
Today is NSD8 btw woohoo :j. This morning I felt like I needed to spend so thought id claim my free coffee from cafe nerro, but actually ive been ok so will save that for another day.
Tonight is DD2's swimming lesson and I think either DH or I will go. Ive got out some chicken breasts to defrost but had to get the whole pack out so will do reggae chicken for tonight and a curry for later in the week.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok, Monday... nearly done!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
So last night turned into a bit of a disaster!! Got home with DD2 to find DH stressed to the max in the kitchen cleaning up reggae sauce from the floor and stressing that he had lost his wallet. Turns out wallet was in the garage with all cards, money etc in tact and he had swung the pan round (its one of those with the turn in handles) and knocked the sauce clean off the work top and it had smashed all over the floor. He was also making curry so I suggested we have the curry for the tea... oh no he had leftover curry for lunch out of the freezer!
So I took DD to her swimming lesson which he went out and bought a fahita sauce and we had that instead. Balance restored after a bit of stress!!
DD2 did really well at her swimming to say it was only week 2 (last week was cancelled). I know you shouldnt compare them but it took ages for DD1 to get it haha!!! DD2 is a little bit older than DD1 was in all fairness but DD1 will do anything to be as lazy as possible haha!!! We never realised this until we changed the teacher.
Anyway ive just changed my signature from 21 to 20 months woohoo!! Will make the payments on Thursday and update my signature with my new figures. I mentioned in December that my smallest debt would be paid off in January but due to boiler problems, having to borrow flooring money off MIL and forgetting to put car tax in spread sheet this has now moved to February. So 4 weeks today my smallest debt WILL be paid off!
Its really sunny out today, quite chilly though. Roll on being able to peg out.
Today is a SSD as I popped into a garage on the way in and bought a new headlight bulb for the car. £3.50 not bad at all. Need to stay legal and all that! Since it was my early day in ive parked in a free car park about 15 mins walk away, can only do this when I come in early though as otherwise I wouldnt get into the office until going on 10am which isnt acceptable really!
Tonights tea is the curry DH made last night.
Think thats all from me. Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning MTG,
I am just amazed to hear your hubby was cooking . Think it would be me that dropped something if I walked in to see my Oh cooking :rotfl:.
Well done to DD2 with her swimming. I pay £44 per month  for both of mine to have swimming lessons. I see it more as a basic requirement than a treat or a hobby. My two would quite happily not go, but I need to know that they could hopefully swim to safety if they ever fell in a river etc.
Wish we had some sun today. We had it the weekend, it must have moved over to you now. All we have is wind and rain ..Not good.
Hope you have a good day xx0 -
Hi mummy
Over half way through the week..yippee. You know now you've made a start knocking the months off til your DFD the time will fly by, mind you the last 2 payments on our car finance seem to taking for ever to come round.
Totally agree with steph on the swimming lessons, a bit of a pain but v. important.

Hi Mummy,
My DD's swimming lessons are a right pain being at 6:30, but like everyone says they are important. She is tired for the rest of the week from that one late night.
Come Dine with Me nights are fab, I have done 2 now with friends and it beats going out.
