Afternoon Diary,
Well I am not feeling very well today, cold, sore throat and cough bleurgh!
Thanks for popping by Livvy, im sure it will all work out in the end somehow!
So yesterday after my post on here I logged into my work email to check if the letter had come through. It had and in actual fact looking at a basic one liner of one of the jobs I may be suitable for one of the jobs available. So I really need to see the job description now which wont be available until next week. Its full time so I wont actually be any better off due to paying childcare but I wont be worse off either! However, my redundancy in June (which is now where they have money til) would be £1000 more than if I took it now. So I think its a no brainer, I need to hang on in that but longer. Will see what the job description looks like first though as I may not be suitable plus theres another few members of staff who may also wish to apply!
In other news, ive just been to Mr S and bought some weekend treats! DH has for them so will come from the grocery budget which now only has £25 left in it! Only 1 more week to shop for though before payday.
Think thats all from me, will keep you updated xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hope you're feeling better tonight. Agree with all the other posts that something better will come along, its just a pain with all the uncertainty.
Good idea about the 'ironing money' pot and I bet it will soon grow. OH's '£5 per week pot' for biking to work is already at £25!!

Morning Diary,
Up early with the girls this morning, good job since the sun is out quickly whacked some washing in!
Yesterday was also a spend day, I really need to go to the drs for my eye drops but ive been putting it off and ended up going to buy some hayfever ones. Im still going to have to go as I must need prescription strength as my eyesight goes blurry with the allergy.
Yesterday I got the girls bedding and also another load of washing line dried. The girls also played out pretty much all day.
The plan for today is to have bacon sandwiches for an early lunch. Ive got a roast beef to cook and got my dad and his gf coming round for tea.
I did all the ironing yesterday whilst DH cleaned so everythings pretty much done. I might just have a small bit of ironing to do to keep on top of it.
Think thats about all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning mummy, its lovely to have some sunshine isn't it?
Get yourself to the Dr for the eyedrops, you know you will feel better when you have got them, slaps wrist:D:rotfl:.Your just like me i will put things like that off.
I've got all my ironing to do today, I hate ding it but it has to be done.
Have a good day.0 -
Evening diary,
Can you believe my girls have played out all day from 9am - 6.30pm! They definately should sleep tonight with all the fresh air and running around.
Well weve had our bacon sandwiches and roast beef... all delicious.
Ive also lined dried a load of washing and got up to date with my ironing.
Weve also took the girls down onto the viaduct with their bikes for a dog walk.
All in all a very nice day and with NSD3 aswell it makes it better.
Just need to get the kids to bed now and peace will be restored.
Tomorrow its the last dancing lesson for DD2 and football for DD1. They started back in April for a 12 week course and it felt like my Mondays would be busy forever but its flown by. Cant believe they break on Friday, but also looking forward to a week off the first week with them.
I was thinking today that when the kids are playing out I should spend the day cooking in the kitchen whilst im watching them. I cant watch TV as my living room is upstairs and I need to be close by with them still being young. I could make lasagnes, spag bol and curries to freeze.
Right best get off, hope everyones had a nice weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Isn't it great when the kids can play out all day. I always struggle to get DS3 and DS2 up on a Monday morning after a busy weekend.
Hope you have a great week........don't forget the eye drops from Drs (don't mean to nag!!). xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17
