    Afternoon diary,

Feeling slightly calmer today! Just finishing off my lunch of porridge and satsumas! 2 hours to go until home time, cant wait actually.

Thanks for popping in Alice and GAP.

Alice, I agree things do feel better when theres sunshine... roll on some!

GAP, long time no speak! Hope you are well. I do take all the details you mentioned, always have done and I love being able to quote back, so and so said this on this date at this time! Im glad you got yours written off.

Well the weather is total pants today and to top it off now my wellies are leaking !!!!!!! So they will be in the bin tonight. I have had them about 7 years so cant complain really since I only paid about £10 for them.

Plan for tonight is tea which is chicken kiev, roast pots and veg. Ive also got chicken out for DH to make a curry for tomorrow nights tea.
Then I need to pick DD's school trousers up from Next and then do a bit of a shop at Mr T's. Ive got a £3 off a £20 so il be taking that with me. Shouldnt need to spend more than that really.

The car still has just slightly over half a tank which by the time ive done what I need to tonight it will probably be on the halfway mark. This is fab as it means weve used only half a tank in 2 weeks, hope I cant stretch the other half to last until payday. Doubt it though it will probably go down really quick now.

Taking about cars ive just had the mechanic on the phone about booking my car in. Thats booked in for Fri 1st June so fingers crossed it doesnt need much. I will actually kiss the car if that happens :rotfl:.

Think thats all from me! Hope everyone is well x

    Morning diary,

Didnt post yesterday dont know where the time went!

Well Thursday I went and picked up DD's trousers and did the shopping at Mr T, £23 so not bad at all. I am very impressed by the quality of the trousers I must say!

Yesterday was NSD5, nothing much to be said about yesterday, very up and down and work and I am so desperate to find another job now.
The curry DH made was delicious and hes got 2 portions left for work lunches too.

Today will probably be a spend day as we are going to look at a new bike near Blackpool for DH :j. Hes got all the money, made the guy an offer over the phone providing its all up to scratch etc and hes got £300 knocked off so his PPI money and his own spending money are paying for that. Will probably need petrol though as its about 2 hours away from here, then back which will probably be my half a tank ive got left. The kids are going to my mums as 4 hours in a car would be a nightmare with them!
Also going to visit my dad as he collected his keys for his new house yesterday. So pleased that he has dusted himself down and got on with it.

Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon x

    Hello Diary,

    Hi Alice, Hi Pennywise!

Well yesterday turned out totally different to how I had reported it would be!
DH had changed his mind on the bike, it was going to be 200 miles to collect the thing as we would have to come back insure it etc and then go back again. Plus it had 15000 miles on which isnt overly high but compared to another bike a lot nearer, a year younger and only a few thousand miles on and only about £300 more! So he decided against it but is still looking and it gives a bit longer to save up and get something newer and exactly what he wants. So didnt put petrol in but then my friend ended up coming round for a catch up, she hadnt eaten so we got a curry :o! DH and I shared as we had eaten and only came to £8 so not a huge spend day but a spend day all the same!

Today will be NSD6. This morning we took the kids to a huge adventure playground around 15 mins drive away. They had a lovely time but it was a bit windy and sand was blowing everywhere! I did take some money in case there was an ice cream van but there wasnt so thats back in my tin. Theyre now round at a neighbours playing in their house so im chilling and DH is revising for an exam.

Ive got a load of washing blowing beautifully on the line :D. Hoping to be able to get a load out tomorrow aswell, will have to check the weather.

Really looking forward to the week ahead which will be spendy but good. Tomorrow im out with some girls from work for a curry. Friday out with DH for an Italian! Saturday out with the girls to a housewarming then drinks out and Sunday a Christening! Really looking forward to it all and this is what ive been saving my spending money for!

Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon xx

    Afternoon diary,

Just having 30 mins in the middle of a very busy day!!

Yesterday we had the roast chicken, which was delicious and theres more than enough for my pie tomorrow. It was only about 4pm so we took the dog up the local reserviour (sp!) for a walk, it was windy but the kids enjoyed the walk. Then the kids and DH melted some easter eggs down and made crispy buns. I did the ironing .

Today I was up early with a headache. I know I didnt drink enough yesterday so probably a bit dehydrated. Got sorted and DD1 off to school. Then me and DD2 went along with a friend and her little boys to the dancing class. Then we went on to soft play and had our lunch there.

Got back and did the meter readings. In 3 weeks weve used £70 which is only about £23 a week so slightly less than we have been using previously.

Need to pick DD1 back up soon and will pop to the coop and buy milk aswell.
Then tea for the kids, football for DD1 and then back home and im back out for a meal with work... phew!!

Tired just thinking about how busy im going to be this week!

Anyway best get going for DD and milk!! Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary,

I could have sworn I posted in here last night... strange!

Nothing too exciting to report really! Im working from home today as I need to go to an event at school this afternoon.
DH has hoovered and polished throughout so going to make a cuppa and put some washing in a mo! Might aswell try and get it dry today if its dry.

Today should be NSD6. Havent done very well with the NSD's recently. Monday money was spent at soft play etc and yesterday I spent about £5 in the coop on a few bits we needed.

    9 days until payday :j.

Got 2 loads of washing dry on the line :j.

So thats my day in a nutshell. Ive now got the next 2 days off so no work until next Tuesday which will be 3 days until payday :T.
