Hi Mummy,
Hope you are OK.
Thats great that your saving pot scheme is working for you. I did the same last year and I think everyone should do it. It was difficult at first getting something in them but once they take off it actually feels like you have money doesn't it?
I had itchy eyes last week and felt poorly, then I heard on the radio its really bad for hayfever at the moment. I got some Hayfever tablets from Aldi ridiculously cheap and they sorted me out.

Thanks Livvy, it feels really good to be in this position finally! It has taken a hard slog but finally we are more or less there! Just need to get the remaining paid off and everything should be perfect!
Might try those tablets thanks for the tip. Usually my nasal spray works for me.
Well ive just had my leftovers lunch of pasta bolognaise that I found in the freezer and a satsuma. Seriously need to get my eating back in order as ive seriously slacked off recently.

Evening diary,
Well what an absolute joke of a system the tax credits is! A few weeks back our tax credits suddenly got reduced to £9 a month due the threshold change. Well I thought we were still earning too much so finally when my P60 came today I rang them up and I know damn well they are paying us money we are not entitled to... be it £9 a month! Well they cant stop my payments until the renewal comes out which is usually July/August time! Im telling to stop the payments as im going to end up owing them and they cant do it... !!!!!!!
When they do finally realise il be paying them back at £9 a month!!
Just had tea of jacket potatoes, cheese and beans... DH turned his stupid nose up as per usual! Ive also made a lasagne for tomorrow nights tea and 2 batches of cauliflower cheese for the freezer.
So NSD today, tomorrow will be a spend day as ive just used about 2 pints of the milk I bought yesterday for the cheese sauce. Plus weve run out of cheese so will need that too.
Hi Eliza, I hope the hayfever doesnt come to much either, it drives me mad!!!!!
Think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Oh and fingers crossed im hoping weve found the problem with the DW. DH has cleaned it and checked 2-3 times and not seen it til I got my beady eyes in there! Basically I had noticed that it was the things around the edges that werent getting clean. DH had another look at the rotating arms and said it was clear. Then I had a look and saw something shiny inside the end hole thing. Turns out there was a piece of plastic around 3cm in there!!!
Its on a wash now so we will see what the things come out like xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, hope your feeling a bit brighter.
Don't get me started on bl**dy tax credits, biggest bunch of muppets going.0 -
Afternoon diary,
Just finishing off my lunch hour. I never take a full hour but today I am! Ive also been really naughty and bought myself lunch, this has come from my own spending money and I really fancied it but now I feel really full and naughty considering that ive brought lunch with me. Oh well I suppose that will save until tomorrow. Had a panini and chips, it was delish! Also walked 5 miles to work which has now been counteracted by chips!
We have a meeting at work at 3pm to discuss the impending Tupe transfer. Weve had that many different scenarios of how the new company looks im really not sure whats happening. Still the closing date for the other job is today so fingers crossed.
Need to pop to Mr S on my way to meet DH for milk and cheese so more spends.
Oh I know Pennywise, I shouldnt mention it dont want you getting annoyed with it all again!
Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
OMG I could totally start an argument in an empty room this evening!
The kids were narky little swines so they were put to bed early and I just felt really stressed, then i realised ive not had any 'me' time for ages. Defo some in order this weekend!
Totally fed up with work. We had a meeting about the transfer today and we were told the new company does intend to make staff changes and maybe a restructure. We werent told exact details but that enough makes me jittery. Need to get myself a new job and get the hell out of there!
£4.50 spent in the coop on milk and cheese.
Nothing else to report xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy sorry to hear about work, hope you can get something else sorted soon. 'Me time' sounds like a fab idea. Hopefully we'll have a bit of sunshine over the weekend, I don't know about you but things don't seem as bad when the sun is shining.

Hey mummy!!
I haven't been able to catch up on everything but I have read this page of your diary.
Re: the tax credits, take notes, of everything! Take people's names. Record times, dates, notes of conversations and what you said and what you were told. I had the same problems myself although it was rather more than £9. I told them countless times that I wasn't entitled to the money. They kept telling me they would sort it and they didn't. Eventually I was told I was due them approx. £1000. I complained and explained everything and they ended up writing it off since I had phoned that many times. They are a major nightmare so I always take notes now. Tell them you are taking notes and you will be using them as evidence when you are asked to pay the money back.
Oh dear, I will stop now, I can feel myself going off on one!! I hate them too.
