Hello Diary,
Just having a quick lunch break at work. 3.5 hours until the weekend starts :T.
Ive just been out for a quick walk, I dont often get away from my desk but I really need to start so had a little walk to Waterstones and had a quick look round. Left my purse in the office so no spending!
Today will be NSD2 of the month, I do need to buy the neighbours a moving in card but il do that tomorrow since il need a few other bits then too.
Ive taken a risk and pegged out my washing. BBC says rain at 1pm but ive ignored them and pegged out regardless! Theres many a time it doesnt rain all day and I could have pegged out.
Hi Livvy, yes they are good, a bit pricey but worth it.
Ive sent off the job application for a job in a Childrens Centre which closes on Weds. Ive also seen 2 other jobs in a school about 20 mins drive away. Going to apply for those aswell over the weekend. The good thing is the application form is exactly the same, as is the personnel spec so I can just save as and then adapt.
So the weekend:
Tomorrow we have DH's cousin coming to cut the girls hair, DD1's swimming lesson and also a kids party/BBQ but tbh im not sure if its good BBQ weather! Need to buy a small present from that, may pick up a tshirt of something in Mr T's.
Sunday nothing much planned, might nip over to a friends to break the day up. DH can revise for an exam he has coming up.
Monday again nothing too taxing! My Dad is planning to coming over and we are going to have a movie night with pizza and popcorn which we already have in.
Then back to work on Tuesday. Il start the house cleaning this evening too.
Dont think ive anything else to report! Il be on again over the weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning diary,
Well dare I say it the weather is dry and bright . So I already have a load out there blowing gently in the breeze.
What to report since yesterday!
Well last nights tea was a hit, ive made it once before homemade cheese burgers, hm chips and salad. DD2 had chicken as she doesnt like burgers but there was clean plates all round :T. DH made himself a kind of Big Mac!
Straight after cleaning the kitchen I carried on through the house, cleaned all the bathrooms including floors and hoovered and polished throughout. 2 hours later my house was spotless! It was lovely to get up to this morning.
Today I need to pop to Mr T's for a few bits, shouldnt spend more than £10. 1 of those things is a present for boy at the BBQ party we are going to today. Will just buy him a tshirt or something for about £5. Will probably go before DH's cousin arrives to do the girls hair.
Think thats enough from me anyway! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -

Afternoon diary,
Just popping for a quick catch up. Had a really lovely weekend so far.
Yesterday I spent £10 in Mr T on various bits and bobs including some cards and a present for the boys party yesterday.
Came home gave DH's cousin £10 for the girls hair cuts and also £6 on fish and chips for lunch.
Then went off to the party, the kids had a nice time playing out etc and we were all fed.
Last night I was sooo tired I fell asleep watching a movie at 8pm :rotfl:!
We were up early again this morning, I got some washing pegged out and DH cleaned the windows. Then we went off to a friends, then came home cooked tea and have been for a little walk with the dog.
NSD3 today :T.
Thanks for the posts Alice, Pennywise and Choo x
Tomorrow im also not planning on spending. My dad is coming over to visit and then were having a movie night with pizza, popcorn and milkshakes.
Hope everyones having a lovely weekend xMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up.
Today has been a bit boring but nice really. SSD today, walked to the coop and spent £4 in there on milk, biscuits, soup and beans. That should tide us over until I go shopping on Thursday/Friday.
Just going to put the oven on shortly for our pizza night! Looking forward to all our goodies afterwards too and our movie of course.
DW not good, everything keeps coming out looking like its covered in weetabix. Weve tried everything to sort out the problem and DH is convinced its the pump thats gone. If it is its approx £110 for the part and £100 for fitting, so might aswell buy a new DW! Not going to do that at this moment in time so looks like its back to the old washing up bowl to me... booooooo!!!!
Nothing too exciting to report anyway! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well the bank holiday has confused me! I feel like yesterday was Sunday and I should be having my usual day off :rotfl:. At least we are actually a day ahead!
Woke up this morning and my nose was soooo itchy, must be the hayfever kicking in. Weather rubbish here today, no chance of any washing getting line dried so ive not done any! Have got a basket of grey/blues which il probably wash and then put over the radiators for tomorrow morning.
Today will be NSD4 :j. Its seems like im having a NSD every 2 days at the moment!
Just checked the bank account, nothing to report except weve got more than we would usually have in there, over £200. Plus weve transferred some money out to the savings emergency fund this morning which feels incredibly good to do.
Ive got £30 left in grocery budget, plus weve got £40 set aside for a meal out in a couple of weeks. Over half a tank of petrol and the freezer is bursting. This new way of working with putting the grocery budget in an actual pot seems to work for me. Ive also got some of my own spending money set aside for a night out aswell. Feel like ive loads still to do with the money set aside which usually at this point in the month ive had all my nights out and im wishing payday along quicker!
Just over 2 weeks until payday which I actually am wishing along so we can transfer some more into the emergency savings account. We will have nearly £400 in there then :T.
Tonights tea is jacket potatoes and il also make a lasagne for tomorrow nights tea. Then il have some work to do.
Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0
