Hi Choo, thanks for the info re onepoll. I will keep my eye on that one.
Might stop doing them for a while and see what happens. I had noticed I was getting very little surveys through them anyway.

Well we are all ready for bed, kids were chilling and now DH has walked through the door and got them all giddy. Ive told him he can put them to bed, ive done enough today!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my tea, ended up doing ovened chips rather than roast potatoes and they were delicious.

Plans for tomorrow need to get petrol and milk from Mr T express.
Then after ive picked DD1 up but before DD2 we will go to the farmshop for mince, potatoes and eggs. Need more potatoes for our mash tomorrow so might aswell pick up the other bits whilst im there. Save me going later in the week.

    Hi Mummy,
I hope you complained about that delivery.
The last few deliveries I've had, out of 5 I would say only 3 have actually helped me with my shopping. The other two literally dumped it on the floor and I had to reach down and lift everything out while they watched. I found it really annoying as it's obvious I'm heavily pregnant!!
I find Mr S and Mr T the nicest when they deliver.

    Good Afternoon,

Just popping in for a quick catch up before I go cook tea.

So today has been a spendy day. £40 on petrol this morning and £8 in the farmshop after school on potatoes, mince x 2, milk and eggs.
The mince will save on next weeks bill. Oh I also paid my tea and coffee money of £3 at work.

Tonight I need to do 2 hours for work which I always do on a Tuesday.
Tea is sausage, mash and veg and the kids have just asked for yorkshire puds so will do 4 large ones.
Im also going to cook tomorrows tea whilst im at it to save time tomorrow. I need to cook the chips from scratch so this would take me too long after work tomorrow. Tomorrows tea is quiche, chips and beans.

Right off to give DD some medicine for her cough, put a load of whites in and start on the tea.

    Be back later xx

    Me again!!

Meant to say earlier I was complaining yesterday about getting no extra vouchers with Mr T. Well DH went to f@rmfoods for bread yesterday which is usually on 3 for £2. Oh no not anymore, its now 2 for £1.50. Is really bugs me that you find little ways round saving on the groceries etc and then they go and pull the rug from underneath your feet .

Anyway ive just done one survey for op world which I need to complete as a 2 part thing. My eyes are tired now so not doing anymore for tonight.
Off to get in the shower, chill for a bit and then watch the biggest loser.

    Catch up tomorrow x x x

    Afternoon diary,

I cycled to work again this morning :T, £2.60 on bus fare saved. Enjoyed it today and went on the roads more, im sure I will get more confident the more I do it. It took me 30 mins which is how long the bus would take.

    Spends today:

    £1.59 on 3 birthday cards
    £1.18 on milk
also need to buy a first class stamp for the cards which I will do after work.

This morning before work I did 15 mins ironing which has caught me back up. Will do the rest plus DD's uniforms probably tomorrow morning as they wont be dry in time tonight.

So night will be spent in front of channel 4 with DH! We like our foody programmes that are on tonight then one born!!

Best get on!! Catch up soon x

Just trying to catch up on some surveys and they are painfully slow at the moment. Even when you do get a survey you get screened out .
Debt busting feels like its getting harder if you want to earn extra or cut back and pay off more... rant over!!

Nothing to report, tea was ok not too sure about reheated homemade chips though they tasted a bit funny to me!! The quiche and beans were nice though :).

Spent 46p on a stamp and then spent £1.74 on a 6 pinter of milk rather than a 4 pinter. Since last Friday including today we have bought 16 pints of milk . But when I thought about ive made a quiche, 2 lots of yorkshire puddings and some custard all using it. Sounds a lot though doesnt it!!

Right nothing more to report! Off to make a cuppa and get ready for my foody programmes on channel 4 xx

  • You are doing really great biking to work. It will be even better when spring is here :).

I know what you mean about going through milk. We seem to go through gallons but I'd rather they drink milk than fizzy pop so mustn't moan really.

Missed my TV programmes tonight as the football is on :(

    Afternoon diary!

Just popping in to report on my daily rubbish!!

Well the weather is meant to change around teatime here to snowing and I need to go to Mr T. Had a big shop of food delivered Friday but now we are running out of everything else. I know ive said it before but I find it really hardly to gauge (sp!) what we will use for the week. I also work on the tighter side and then we run out left, right and centre! Cant win as I dont want my cupboards and freezer full of stuff we might not use.

Anyway, so im going to have to take the kids with me. Que extra money being added to the bill. Ive already had DD requesting those minimax cereal thats new. Ive been managing to fob her off by saying they didnt have any and buying the usual but if shes with me, chances are she will spot it. Nothing gets past that one!!
I have no choice though as if it starts snowing and we cant get out, we will have no toilet roll or anything!!!!
Im taking £30 plus my £6 vouchers and thats all. So will have to stick to the list and the kids will have to understand.

Ive just been looking on Mr T online to see what kind of baking packs they have. My stocks of baking ingredients has run right down so will just buy a cheap muffin mix where you just add an egg and they can do that Monday afternoon. They are only about 70p so much cheaper than restocking the baking cupboard at this point.

Alice, I am looking forward to the Spring actually. Not only for the cycling but for pegging out aswell!!

Choo, I hope youve put a lock on the fridge after that incident !

Well im a bit worried about taking my bike home. I need to do it today but where ive parked if someone parks up my @rse end I wont be able to get the bike in through the boot. Im probably worrying about nothing and I will have to find a way as its a 10 minute walk back to work and I wont have the time.

So thats me! Nothing else to report!!! xx

  • Morning diary,

Well im at home today with DD2 who was poorly in the night. She seems ok now but didnt want to send her to mil so ive said il work this morning and then take this afternoon as a holiday.

Me and the kids went off to Mr T last night after school, spent £34 so £28 with my clubcard voucher so not bad. Managed to get everything I needed, had to buy T Value for some things to be able to do that mind!
The kids got their minimax cereal which was half price!

Its snowed here overnight and it was so slippy walking since its icey underneath, didnt like it!

Anyway last school run for a week! Only working 3 days next week so can spend some time with the girls xx
