Evening diary,
Well ive been through my order with a fine toothcomb and amended to save 30p here and there. Would have been cheaper if I hadnt have missed milk and a few other bits off my list! So thats being delivered tomorrow with a few other bits for the coming weeks that were on offer. It came to £64.
Ive also meal planned right up to when I next get paid so I can make sure my shopping budget will last me as ive only got £40 left and we need dog food which costs £10 a sack.
We ended up having scrambled eggs and beans on toast for tea, I really enjoyed it it was delicious!! We never really have meals like that so kind of feels like a treat!!
Tomorrow the shopping isnt coming until well after tea, so DH and DD2 can have a breaded chicken thing with chips and peas. I will have a rice fusion with something or other not sure what yet.
DD1 will have her tea with the childminder. She gets fed well so will probably have a roast dinner or something lucky thing!
Ive just updated my signature and im sooo pleased with the amount weve paid off. In 14 months weve paid off 40%. I know the next 14 months we probably wont pay off quite as much as after the loan is paid off we are going to have slightly more spending money but the difference will be saved up and paid off in lump sums every so often.
In my head im aiming for December 2013 but any sooner would be fantastic.
Right catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning diary,
Just popping in! Walked to work this morning, it was too icy to cycle today plus DH needs to adjust my handle bars. Im desperate to shift some lb's! Didnt lose this week, I missed weigh in last week and I think I put on with all our eating out last week. So hopefully my cycle and walk will boost a loss for next week.
Lunch today is wholemeal pitta filled with phili and cherry tomatoes. Ive also got some leftover peppers which I am going to use up.
Cant wait for my shopping to be delivered this evening, I cant tell you how much!! The fridge consists of a few eggs, margarine, 1 pint of milk and a bit of fruit!!
Nothing else to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Oh I love shopping deliveries, I get a bit over excited and never know what to eat first.
Well done with your healthy eating and your exercise, its hard to get motivated in this weather so it makes it even more of a challenge for you...good on you!

Evening diary,
Well my shopping has arrived and so the cupboards, fridge etc is looking nice and healthy again. I am not however happy with the Mr A delivery driver who was thee rudest man I have ever met. He couldnt find my house and then when I directed him here he put the phone down on me!! This is just the tip of the iceberg... Complaint put into about him.
Thanks Livvy, will keep it up, im feeling positive this time around :T.
Nothing else to report. The house looks like a complete bomb site. DD has taken her uniform off and its strewn around the living room and I cant even be bothered to pick it up!!
Off to catch up with more diaries xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Well weve had a busy day ferrying children between parties, at least they were fed I suppose :rotfl:.
Havent spent much considering until this afternoon! DD2 got into the soft play place free as she had her last party there and they get the next go free. So spent £3.50 on drinks there, took her some snacks for when DD1 was eating.
DH took the dog for his booster and wormers.... £42 later . That was mostly budgeted for though.
Now DH has gone back out for dog food and petrol, thats another £30 there. Bloody sick of spending money this week.
Oh DH just text no petrol at Tesco express... so £20 better off!
This morning I got up and didnt stop til taking DD to the party. House was tidy, now doesnt look any different to be honest!!
Anyway best get on, catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mtg, hope you have a less expensive day.
Thats awful about the Asd* delivery, only used them a handful of times and they have been useless and disorganised on every occasion, now stick to tesc*/s*insburys for home delivery.
Hopefully you will get a voucher or money knocked off your shopping.0 -
How rude for the delivery driver putting the phone down on you. I know when I sent a note to sburys to say I was fedup of having items missing from our delivery because they were out of stock they sent me a voucher and free delivery, so fingers crossed.
I'm off the play in the snow with the OH, kids and the dog and then I will doing housework and ironing. Hello Diary,
A bit of whingy post coming up so feel free to ignore me!
I am really fed up just recently and its really to do with DH! He keeps being really snappy with me, there was occasions yesterday when he lost his wallet and I was suggested places it could be and he was really sh!tty with me. Then this morning asked me if id seen his scarf, so I said no but is it the sleeve of your coat... reply I got was NOOOOOOOO! Well why ask me if your just going to be narky about it... t0sser!!!
Anyway enough about him!! Weve been out playing in the snow this morning but are now back inside warm watching Beauty and the Beast.
Ive just caught up with my ironing which I need to put away, put a load of pinks in including wet hats and gloves and then put the chicken in for Sunday lunch. Really looking forward to it.
Thanks for your comments Pennywise and Alice. Not so much as a free delivery from Mr A . Dont think il use them again anyway, dont want to risk getting horrible driver again.
So this afternoon I need to:
- Hang up the ironing
- Make the dinner
- list on Ebay
Think thats enough to be going on with for a Sunday afternoon. Its really sunny here so the snow is melting a bit. The front of our nightmare street never gets any sun so it will be super icy out there tomorrow. Luckily the car isnt parked on here.
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Well ive managed all my tasks plus a nice relaxing bath so im all ready for tomorrow.
Listed 4 things on ebay, not expecting much but we will see.
Roast was delicious and I also defrosted some chocolate sponge from the freezer and served that with custard. Still full now, but think il have a cuppa with some cereal in a bit otherwise the temptation of biscuits might take over!
DH still p!ssing me off. Him and DD2 not 'getting on' again and so we all need to be involved and know about it. I just wish he could be more patient.
Im just feeling a bit fed up at the mo, putting it down to dark, miserable days and nights. Debt under control so its not that.
Good job we had loads going on in January or else January would have probably been very miserable aswell. Hope I can snap out of it soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Already one bid on one of my ebay items, its only been listed about 1 hour :j. 2 watchers on another. That will probably be it all week now :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0
