    Afternoon diary, were home :(!!!

Had an absolutely amazing time, spent too much money but who cares ! Not me il just cut it back from my shopping budget :rotfl:.

Ive just been and done a bit of shopping in the local farmshop, got meals for the next week plus a few extras for £47. Also £7 in tesco express on milk, bread and cereal.
Got the dog back from his dog sitter and hes been very sick, think hes eaten some of her dogs food which is very rich and he cant hack rich food. Poor dog, has just throw up all over my landing carpet.

Well ive just updated my figures as a loan payment and another payment has gone out. Will update my signature in a moment and im now pleased to annouce im under the £14k's woohoo!!!
    Also just potted 21p and a £2 coin :j.

Itsa, my sisters puppy is a chocolate lab, he is too cute and looks just like our dog when he was a pup.

    Thanks Livvy.

DH has just taken my bike back to Halfords for some repairs as the back brake cable needed replacing or something.

Right off to update my signature xx

  • Hi mtg, glad you had a good time, sorry to here about pooch being unwell, hopefully he will perk up now he is back home.
  • Morning diary,

Just popping in for a little catch up. Its so sunny here today, I reckon if I had a washing line, I might get some half dry today. But I havent so the radiators will just have to do wont they!!!

Well the dog still not so good, hes got colitus (sp!) and he hasnt been affected by it for years as DH knows the signs and takes him off his food straight away as this is what the vet advised and works. So we are starving him now and hopefully he will start being better now. Poor dog looks very sorry for himself :(.

Today I have just caught up with a bit more ironing as im sure you can imagine its been coming out my ears!
In about an hour I am going to walk to my mums shop which is around 45 mins away and help out in there for a few hours. DH would drop me off but I need to shift some of these lb's so will walk and plus its a nice day.

Right best get on! Catch up soon xx

  • Good Morning diary,

Just popping in for a quick catch up.

Had my walk yesterday and it took exactly as long as predicted 45 mins! My thighs are killing me today, must be a good thing though ha!!
Went out with friends and family for DH's birthday meal last night, we spent £12 on drinks thats all!! My dad knows the manager and so us and my dad got our meals for free. So ive potted the money in my grocery and petrol tin. This would have been the family treats money but ive spent that much out of my grocery budget I feel it needs putting back in there.

Today was meant to be a NSD until DH announced he would like to go to town. At first I said no I need a day of rest but then I felt mean as it is his money hes wanting to spend so ive agreed. Plus I also just remembered the kids have 2 yes 2 parties next Saturday so I need to source out some cheap presents for those.

So ive got a joint of beef to put in the oven which il do and then we will go out for a bit whilst its cooking.
Also need to sort some washing as the basket is overflowing again.

Last day off tomorrow before work again on Tuesday. I actually feel like I need another week off after the past week :rotfl:.

38p potted to my sealed pot and also another £2 coin potted :j.

    29 days!!!!!! xx

  • Morning diary,

Well I really cant be @rsed with today, not sure whats wrong with me really but I could just sit all day and not do a thing. Havent felt like this in a long time. But I have a list as long as my arm so really need to crack on instead of whinging!

Just done the meter readings and weve used £44.62 in the past 2 weeks so not bad since the heating was still coming on last week incase it got really cold. We are £33 in credit which isnt as much as id like but its a credit all the same. The payment will go in Wednesday so thats pretty much the month end total.

Today will be NSD11. Yesterday was a spend day but stocked up on things in the cheap shops in town. Got toilet roll, crisps, biscuits, beans, toothbrushes, toothpaste, washing powder and things like that for £14. Still feel like weve nothing in this morning though, cereal is running out etc so will probably get some shopping delivered on Friday as I just dont have the time next weekend to go.

Just checked the bank account, no change there. Looking forward to DH getting paid tomorrow and the joint looking lovely for a day :rotfl:.

Right best catch up with other diaries, then crack on xx

Im back feeling a little bit more positive!

Since my last post ive ironed, washed, made lunch, put some bits in the garage DH was supposed to do, more washing, hanging washing out, sorting 50,000 pairs of kids shoes off the landing and hoovered up.

Next im going to polish the living room and hall and then make a cuppa!
I will put the ironing away after school as ive told the kids they can tidy their bedroom as theyve got every single toy out on that floor. This way I can supervise from my bedroom!!

Oh and ive done a MrA shop to be delivered Friday.

Tonights tea was going to be chicken kiev but ive since realised that DH has gone off to work with the butter so will make goujons, roast pots and veg instead.

Oh my bike is ready too. Only cost £25 to fix which is fab as it would cost more in bus fares for the month. So im thinking Wednesday will be my first cycle day. DH will cycle tomorrow, weather permitting as I know in some parts of the country it has snowed. Just checked on BBC and it says we arent due any but who knows!!

    Catch up soon xx
