Evening diary,
Well I am absolutely shattered! DD has had a lovely day and party but im always left feeling shattered!!! The living room looks like an absolute bomb site with new toys etc all over. Still didnt get some of my jobs done from yesterday and about an hour ago I suddenly remembered that the basket with DD's school t-shirts in to wash was still sat in the spare bedroom . So I thought id best get my act together, put those in the washer, put tea on and had a quick tidy round. It should be finished soon, then I need to hang them round to get them dry for the morning!! For some reason the t-shirts must have been missed cos her cardigan and trousers are ironed ready.
Thanks Pennywise, Itsa and Mummy for popping in.
Well ive been a bit off the diet wagon this weekend, but still filling in my fitness pal and where ive not gone over my cals for the day my eating hasnt been healthy. Back into it tomorrow with the xtrainer aswell.
Had a very HSD with DD's party, that cost me £100 . Can you believe every single child turned up.... thats to spite me saying I hoped a few couldnt make it haha :rotfl:.
Tomorrow will be a NSD, then Tuesday I will need to go shopping again. Armed with my final £20 of this shopping budget. I think ive done pretty well but the freezer is starting to show it now. Not going to buy the kids any yoghurts this week as theyve a few left but ive got about 4 packets of jelly in the cupboard so will use that up.
Havent said it for a few days ...43 days!!!!!
Right off to get in my pj's im shattered!!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
I haven't gone so far as my pjs yet, but I am sat with dressing gown on - bloomin freezing  I am going to do the bare minimum of preparation for school and work tomorrow - most of it is washed but I haven't ironed anything yet so will have to go and iron a shirt for Mr Itsa.
Aren't kids parties expensive - I have my DD's that I need to plan/prepare for February. There is a soft play centre not far but it will be about £100.00. I could do it at home, but the thought of all those grubby children in my house sends me cold with shivers down my spine. Sticky fingers over my leather suite and my dogs would have to be banished, noise, squealing..... I am not sure whether I would prefer to just spend the £100.00Just keep swimming!0 -
Glad the party went well and your DD had a fad time.
Jelly is the way forward I think. I started to put jelly and some tinned fruit in my youngest sons lunch box next thing all his friends we're asking for jelly/fruit too. The Moms at school think its a great idea.

Good Morning diary,
Well ive been a busy bee this morning since getting back from school.
DD2 has been painting with her new paints etc and ive cleaned 2/3 bathrooms, hoovered and mopped downstairs, tidied all the paperwork from on top of the microwave, set the washer off and put the washing round and set off the dishwasher!!
Still got to do:
1 more bathroom (worst one with shower cubicle!)
hoover and polish living room and hallway
ring vets for dogs booster injection
ironing yet more uniform!
Ive also done the meter readings but havent entered in online yet.
Itsa, I know what you mean, I think it makes it a bit harder when youve got dogs at home cos some kids wouldnt like them so they need to be put out the way. Plus my living room is upstairs and id be worried about kids falling down the stairs.
Alice, thank you for the reminder about jelly, id forgotten I had to do it and were all out of yoghurts!! I have little pots with lids that I make it in fab for lunch boxes.
Thanks Pennywise.
Nothing to report moneywise until I get paid a week on Thursday. Im thinking the £10 I am due from Op world I will put towards the shopping as im running out of dishwasher powder etc and it will be nice to have some treats to take away with us next week.
Right best go update the meter readngs, back in a mo xxMummytogirls x0 -
