  • Hi Mummy,
Sorry I haven't been on for a while. Thats a great saving with BT and I can't believe you are still in credit with gas and electricity...well done! Our heating used to be on a thermostat all the time but I have put times in now for twice a day, I daren't even look at our consumption with being off over Christmas, the advanced button is on and off more times than you would believe but at least it isn't on when I am at work....saying that I was only there 3 days last week and DD is poorly again.

Hey thats good that your DD has a birthday in January with all the sales on.

Good idea about melting the selection box choccies down, DD got about 4 selection boxes and she only likes buttons and the fudge.

    Good Morning diary,

Its looking a bit milder out today!

Im all ready for work, kids ready for school and playgroup just need do DD1's hair and set off in about 10-15 mins.
Washing is out on the radiators to catch it going off this morning and back on this evening.
Tonights tea will more than likely be a breakfast, weve got a pack of bacon in the freezer and ive got everything in for that meal.
Today will be a spend day as I need to go to Mr T's after work for the weekly shop, ive got £20 so will go armed with £25 just incase!! Meals already in the freezer so its just fresh stuff and ingredients for DD2's birthday cake.

Hi Livvy thanks for popping in. Re the gas and electric we still paid £98 over the summer when we were hardly using anything so that coupled with the mild weather has helped. I think this is the first year weve ever been in credit though!! Poor DD shes had a bad run of it lately hasnt she? OMG as if she only likes those things out of the selection boxes. My 2 will eat anything chocolate, infact they got 2 with picnics in that we removed due to the nuts!! DH enjoyed those.

Well ladies ive kept a little secret since last April but now its out the bag I can let you in!! Remember I had a holiday fund going at one point? Well I had to remove it from my signature incase DH saw. Well last April I booked us a week away for his birthday which is also coming up in a few weeks. I told him last night and his first question was... how have you paid for this?! I felt so proud to be able to say ebay, surveys and quidco etc :T!! Ive also kept my sealed pot going a bit longer for us some spending money. I decided to tell him a bit early as hes got quite a bit on at work and I wanted him to be prepared!!!

    So thats where im at!!!

    48 days!!!!

Feeling very good at the moment, everything feels right for once xx

    Hello ladies,

Thanks for your replies. We are going to a very well know place in the Lakes thats an outdoory kind of a place!! Begins with the letters C and P!!!

DH was very shocked but is really looking forward to it. God knows how ive managed to keep schtum for all this time as ive nearly slipped up a couple of times lately!!

Well ive been to work, currently doing some work as I always do on a Tuesday and now feel absolutely shattered!! Cup of tea and bed afterwards me thinks.
Me and the kids did Mr T's after school, oh my god my kids turn into menaces in that place. Charging about all over I get sick of hearing my own voice. Spent £20.46 but DH will have to pop back for the cake stuff he needs when hes decided as I just ran out of time anyway. Plus he hadnt definately said what he needed.

So thats it for today!! Very tired and need my bed. Will try catch up with other diaries in the morning xx

    Morning diary!

Another wild day here. Just waiting for the kids to finish watching Phineas and Ferb before disturbing them to get them dressed.

Nothing too exciting to report except 46 days!!!!

Well ive just sorted some washing out ready for tonight, last nights is now on the radiators drying :money:.
I love this diary im sure it keeps me in check with the housework etc.

Also last night I did Wii fit and a bit of Zumba. Turned the Zumba off after about 12 minutes as I just couldnt get into it. Would much rather do Just dance.

Im also keeping up to my 'me' time, which im really appreciating makes me feel so much calmer!!!!

Today will also be a spend day as need to pop into farmfoods and buy bread as I went to Mr T on Tuesday instead. Only a SSD though!

Mummy, weve been before too and the kids loved it. Isnt the swimming pool fantastic?? Much better than whats at haven!!

Right best get the kids ready for school and playgroup. Oh quick, cheap tea of beans on toast tonight, might throw an egg in too :D.

    Il catch up later xx
