Good Morning diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up. Nothing too exciting to report! Today will be a spend day as either DH or I will pop to the farmshop to buy milk, chicken for tomorrow, sausages for next weekend as we wont go in again and a few other bits. We have to go right past to DD's swimming lesson anyway so its not out of our way.
I could not wait to get home for my tea last night I was starving!! Really enjoyed it and then at 8pm I treated myself to a piece of my selection box a lady at work bought me on Tuesday! I thought since it was Friday and weigh in day its a better day for a treat. I did 20 mins wii fit aswell to probably counteract 1g of it haha!!!!
Ive just taken a pizza out of the freezer for tonights tea. Its my favourite, a fresh spicy chicken one from Mr M's. I will have a limited amount with some salad though to save on the calories.
Other than all that today will be doing more washing and cleaning really.
Have a lovely weekend everyone xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Morning Diary,
Just popping in for a little catch up.
Well yesterday I did no cleaning what so ever!! Just washing and the DW etc. So today im going to pop to my mums and might leave DH here cleaning in peace :rotfl:.
Yesterday spends were more than expected but only brought forward a few days. In the afternoon we went out and bought DDs birthday presents which is next week. DH would have been getting them Monday.
He did well in the farmshop and spent £12, then spent £3 in the fish and chip shop and we had a treaty lunch !!
Today will be a NSD no 6 I think. Also havent updated the countdown for a few days..... 50 days!!!!
So todays dinner will be roast chicken and all the trimmings. Ive taken to having Sunday dinner around 3pm and then just giving the kids some supper. Im never hungry until about then so it makes sense as I miss out on lunch. We just give the kids a bigger breakfast and then a snack such as cream crackers around 12pm. We also have a longer Sunday evening then rather than rushing round at 6pm getting ready for Monday we are usually all ready for red and chilled out.
Talking about cream crackers I wanted to mention some I had recently bought. My DH is really picky and loves Jacobs, ive tried Mr M and Mr A's and hes just moaned about them. Anyway I bought some that are a complete rip off of Jacobs for 34p in Mr Al. They are exactly the same and he really likes them :T. They are about half the price for twice as many. No brainer really isnt it!!!
Think thats about all from me anyway. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Well the chicken dinner was lovely and weve loads of chicken for sandwiches :T. For the first time this evening I have made chicken stock aswell!! There was a few bits of veg left so ive made myself some hm chicken and veg soup for tomorrows lunch... go me!! There was also mash left so that will do me and the girls with tomorrow nights pie and veg. DH has already said he will have oven chips with his.
As planned DH did the cleaning whilst I popped to my mums. Collected the money for DD's present off her too. I did the ironing etc so thats all up to date. Just the pinks to remove from the radiators when I can move :rotfl:.
Erm think thats about all from me. Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Just been thinking about what me and DD2 can do tomorrow to keep busy..
Ive decided we will melt some of the girls selection boxes down and make some chocolate crispy buns. That will kill half an hour or so and keep DD amused.Mummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
All your talk of chocolate and food is making me hungry:rotfl:
I had low fat sausages for tea, managed to drop one on the floor so had a smaller portion than everyone else and fed the one from the floor to the dogs. I now have a puppy cuddled up to me on the sofa with wind that would make your eyes bleed....... :rotfl: and as I didn't eat as much for tea I am peckishJust keep swimming!0 -
Good Morning diary,
What a horrible Monday morning, so dark and dreary!!
Anyway, im having a productive morning. Just taken DD to school and popped to the co-op on the way back for some gravy for with tonights tea. So thats put a stop to my NSD but will be worth the peace I will get rather than DH's whinging if we didnt have any :rotfl:.
Done my meter readings, £34 for the past 8 days so not too bad and still over £100 in credit.
Checked joint account, no change there. Not sure why im still checking this account all the time as most things have gone out now. I suppose its just force of habit.
Tonights tea will be pie, mash and veg using leftover beef from the freezer. I do love my Mondays off and being to put a good meal on the table on a week night!!
Oh dear Itsa, sorry my diary was making you hungry! Ooohh to the smelly dog, I know exactly what you mean haha!!
Right now im going to get our BT bill out and investigate getting a discount on our broadband. Cant believe its a year since DH was on the phone negiotiating (sp!) a better deal!! Going to go on sky website and do a comparison, hopefully that should swing it for me.
Right best get on! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
I love making stock from the leftover chicken bones and veggie peelings as well - makes me feel very virtuous, I'm still baffled why I didn't do it years ago.
Enjoy your baking day with DD xx0 -
Well well well... looks like I can save myself quite a bit of money going with Sky.
My most recent BT bill was £45 due to an offer ending and DH making £6 worth of calls chasing a Yodel parcel .
Anyway Sky can offer me free BB for 6 months, then £7.50 there after and £12.25 line rental which is cheaper that BT!! Just on hold with BT to see what they can offer me...
Just got through will report in soon!! xMummytogirls x0 -
Well ive only gone and saved myself £14 a month :T.
BT can knock my bill down from £38 to £24. It still would be cheaper to go with Sky but this way I save myself the hassle and still keep my internet security etc. Feel very good about that.
Choo, I have never made chicken stock in my life so I feel good about that aswell haha!!!
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well done with the BB savings, we are tied in at the moment with bt.0
