Hi Mummy,
I took DD and DM to CP in the Lakes last January and we loved it even though it was freezing cold. We had DD in all the events and had a lovely time. You will love it.

Hi Both,
Thanks for your comments. We did go in 2010 to the Christmas wonderland experience and that was so magical. I think the fact that it snowed helped with the magic aswell!!!
Ive booked us into the panto and we will probably go bowling and swimming etc. We have planned to eat out twice and then eat in the other 2 nights. I have to say I am really looking forward to the break already and weve only just gone back to work :rotfl:.
Nothing really to report! Just caught up with the surveys and it seems yougov is where its at at the moment.
Just had chicken cup a soup and a brown roll for my lunch. Its my half day so il be home for 3pm if I get peckish!! Ive also had an apple, a satsuma and a rocky biscuit aswell so doing quite well today.

Morning diary,
Happy mummy this morning ive lost 2lb this week making my 2 week total 3lbs. I pledged 7lbs in Benbens challenge for January so im almost halfway there :T.
Havent checked the bank account yet but I dont expect any change really, there might be one transaction as DH bought something off Amazon but thats about it. Hes on with baking DD2s cake this evening, the icing of it tomorrow will probably cause an argument :rotfl:.
Today should be a NSD, nothing planned anyway. We had our heads in the freezer last night trying to work out what to do for tea out of 2 chicken breasts! Then DH came up with cajun chicken, hm potato wedges and salad. Why hadnt I thought of that!! Plus I wondered how I was going to get rid of the peppers in there.
Think thats enough from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well done on the weight loss. I'm doing the Benbens challege too, but had a shaky start to the week so we'll see.

Hi Alice,
Thanks for popping in, whens your weigh in day?
Really looking forward to my tea!!
Well im currently sat eating a bowl of porridge as I had nothing in really to bring to work. Id rather have that then another cup a soup!!
Well im hoping to save a bit more money over the coming months by cycling to work. DH had a ladies bike given last year but he took a part off it for his bike. Then his bike went and broke and now they are both out of action!! So hes planning on getting his fixed out of his birthday money which means they will be back in action again.
We are currently spending £10.40 on the bus 4 times a week to work and then we pick each other up. If he cycles 2 days and I cycle 2 we will save over £40 a month on bus fares and lose a few lbs aswell.
Plus on the days he cycles he cycles back aswell (hardcore !!!), I wont be doing this as its too steep on the way back. But with him coming back aswell it will save me having to go pick him up and save 20 miles a week there. I will bring my bike home in the car the day after ive cycled!!
Im dead excited at the prospect of losing a few lbs and saving a few £'s haha :rotfl:!!!!
I think il hope to start w/c 30th January if DH can fix my bike before then! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy, my weigh in is on a Sunday morning. I'm hoping once everything is in place with our DMP then I can really concentrate on losing weight. I sometimes take cereal to work for lunch, it makes a nice change and it so easy.
Thats a good saving with you biking, I know bus fare isn't cheap as the kids take the bus to school. You'll be gaining £'s but losing lbs
My OH could cycle to work but he give his mate a lift and he pays towards petrol but when his mates on holiday he could........will suggest that again for this year. I really need the exercise but think I'll stick to walking at the moment.:o xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Well I have my weigh in Friday as if im going to have a treat it will be at the weekend then ive got all week to be good again!!!
Yep I think you should get DH cycling when his friends on holiday!! I suppose the petrol money will come in handy.
I think once the money is sorted you will find it easier. I think this journey for me has been good because I am so disciplined now with the money and the housework everything kind of follows suit!!
Plus me being good with the eating isnt half having an effect on the biscuit tin :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening All!!
Well my tea was absolutely delicious! Ive been treating myself to a chocolate out of my selection box on a Friday but I enjoyed my tea so much I had a couple more potato wedges and mayo instead :rotfl:!!!
DH is on with baking the cakes. The kids are downstairs watching him but im going to disturb them in a mo to get them into bed. We need to be up early tomorrow as DH is in work doing the stock take so im not having them trying to sleep in when weve to get up on a Saturday haha!!
Busy day tomorrow getting the last minute bits for DD's birthday... balloon etc. I also need to pick DD1s glasses up from the opticians and take her to her swimming lesson.
Im so excited for her though, cant wait to see her little face when she sees her bike!!!
Oh and today was NSD7 until DH just had me going out for caster sugar since he didnt have enough. Only 83p though so not too bad I suppose.

Morning diary,
Just popping in here to update and get all my lists out of my head!!
So weve been up early this morning to drop DH off and it was sooo cold outside, luckily DH defrosted the car whilst I got dressed.
Weve just been out again to get the last bits for DD. She chose a moshi monsters balloon and I also needed some wrapping paper and a banner. Got a good banner that you can stick numbers and letters on to personalise, will use this next week for DH's birthday aswell :money:. Did spend £7.98 in there.
Were just back home, the kids have just had a snack and are not quiet as mice watching Hocus Pocus.
Need to spend even more money shortly at DD's lesson, ive wrote a cheque for that, thats another £68. Quite a HSD today!!
Right so these are the jobs for today:
Bathrooms
Ironing
Wrap DD's present of mil once shes in bed, put banners etc up
More washing! Pinks in as we speak
Wipe round in the kitchen
Think thats about all from me! Might go crack on with the ironing before swimming. God its non stop today! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
