Ive just logged onto bank and another small payment gone out so updated my signature xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, 7lb sounds like a good figure, but I think it will take me double the time to lose as weight dribbles off me really slowly.
Hash browns yum yum yumI might steal your idea for tea tonight although I don't have any hash browns and I couldnt tell how to make them.
I have tried the Zumba game for the wii, it's quite good, I don't think it is much different from just dance 3 really but if I start prancing round the living room, two Labradors think I am trying to instigate a bizarre playtime ritual and start getting very excitable :rotfl:Just keep swimming!0 -
Afternoon diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up. Just logged on to all the survey sites, but nothing worth a quick look though.
Last night we had our friends round which was nice to see them and a good laugh. The food went down a treat and there was some lasagne left. Instead of freezing it weve just had it with leftover garlic bread for a late lunch. We are going round to a friends around 6.30pm and they will do some food so we will eat a late tea there.
Ive just been through the freezer and wrote a list of everything thats in there and decided when we can eat certain things in there. Ive started a list of bits we need for next week from Mr Al and farmfoods as they are right next door to each other and practically on the doorstep of DH's work.
Ive also realised ive got 2 packs of jelly in the cupboard so should we run out of yoghurts weve got something to throw together for puddings for the kids. I am so determined to hardly spend in January on groceries by using up everything we have available in the house. The kids have god knows how many chocs in the cupboard so im rationing those for when they ask for a treat. Weve also got a full tin of quality streets, a box of matchmakers and pringles left.
58 days left of the big loan!!!!
Itsa, DD got Zumba for her birthday but ive not had a go on it yet. Might have to pull that one out for Benbens challenge!! Did you have a breakfast? Our hash browns were from the freezer!!
Think thats about all from me! Happy New Year to you all. Hope 2012 is a good year for all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Morning Diary,
Hope everyone had a lovely evening, soooo glad t obe in 2012 I cant tell you . 57 days woohoo!!!
Well we went round to friends last night and had food there. It was lovely to be out of the house seeing people and the kids loved it too. We came home around 10.30pm, put the kids to bed (which is very late for them) saw in the new year and then promptly fell asleep :rotfl:.
Ive just totted up my spending diary for December and im happy to report 12 yes 12 NSD which I am very happy with. I think not having to leave the house has really helped.
Just done the meter readings and for the last fortnight we have used £55.27 so slightly less that the previous fortnight. The payment has also been posted on the account and were now £149.46 in credit. Weve not even had the heating on this morning so fingers crossed it stays this warm and we can have it on less and less :T.
So today will consist of taking the tree and trimmings down, a good clean of the living room and then roast beef and all the trimmings. I wont be leaving the house today so wont be spending any money at all woohoo!! Great start to the year.
Think thats about all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -

Me again!!
Thanks Pennywise, im hoping it will be. The loan that has crippled me for nearly 3 years is going to be fully paid off :T.
Well since this morning we have put the tree away, hoovered and polished, caught up with the ironing and eaten a huge delicious roast beef dinner.
Going to settle down and watch a movie with the girls and then bath them. They need to be in bed on time tonight, so they will be up tomorrow and back into the routine ready for school, playgroup and work on Tuesday. Cant believe how quickly its all gone.
Ive also done 2 loads of washing, 1 which is dry and needs removing from the radiators and the other needs putting out ready for the heating coming on.
Think thats about all. Off to see if theres any surveys... doubt it though!! xMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Last day off of the holidays! Well I have to say im quite looking forward to going back tomorrow its been pretty boring today!!!
Ive just got my ironing up to date again, so need to go put that away and get the kids uniforms etc out for tomorrow.
Tonights tea was hm quiche, hm chips (ovened) and beans. Theres a tiny slither of quiche left which il take along with my soup and wholemeal roll for tomorrow.
Tomorrow nights tea will be jackets which il put in after school. Then pop to Mr Al and farmfoods before picking DH up. Then tea will be ready for us walking through the door.
I have decided on a New Years resolution!! I am going to try get back into watching soaps in a bid to chill out on an evening. I currently waste too much time on the laptop looking at the same old stuff. So starting from this evening I am going to get in the bath at 7 and then just relax on the bed watching Coronation Street 7.30-8!! I also want to get into a good moisturising routine, my legs are really dry and need tlc. I always say I dont have time but now I will make time instead of sitting on here all night!!! Bit of a ramble there haha!!!
Right going to get on!! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
Happy New Year.
I stopped watching the soaps over the spring whilst studying for my exams and I haven't got back into watching them, I'm guilty of wasting time on an evening by using my laptop whilst DH looks at his Ipad - very sociable (not). Its amazing how much time I can actually waste whilst complaining that I never have any spare time xx0 -
Happy New Year. Hope 2012 is a great year for you. I like the sound of your chilling a bit more and watching the soaps etc. I havent watched corrie in ages!! I do catch up on estenders though but never watch at the right time

Hi Mummy,
In an effort to not be too much of a telly addict, I gave up watching the soaps. But went from telly to laptop addiction instead. I have recently (due to being up at crack of dawn with puppy on weekends) taken to watching Emmerdale and Hollyoaks as they were the only thing worth watching on a Saturday and Sunday morning. But I have been making a conscious effort to not spend as much time on useless things like Facebook (although that seems to have the knock on effect of spending more time on here??? but I see here as being much more productive).
Also making more time for reading books (of which I have far too many!).
I so need to spend more time on looking after myself. I don't wear much make up but taking it off at bedtime would be a start.Just keep swimming!0
