Hi Mummy,
I have just had my Tesco shop delivered and it is all literally for Christmas day...£80! Thats for 3 of us!!!! The turkey was £12.50 but cheaper than M&S by miles. Reckon I will be back at the shops next week!
Did you see Jamie Oliver last night? He made a turkey chowder (with the left overs) for boxing day and it looked gorgeous...think I might give it a try.

Evening diary,
DH is watching a movie so thought id pop on here! Hes signed up to a free love film trial which sees him get a £15 Amazon voucher, so he will cancel before he gets charged. I made him read the T & C's a few times to make sure he understood it properly.
Well I popped to Boots after work, only managed to buy deodrant and soap, couldnt find paracetamol and can buy wipes cheaper at the supermarket. So still have over £2 left on Boots card.
Then I popped to Mr Aldx as I needed some snacks and chocolate reindeers for the kids. Managed to get 2 reindeers, 2 packets of chocolate coins, grapes, 6 pack of crisps and some jive bars (twix's!) for £6.83. What a bloody bargain. Once ive used my Mr Mr's voucher next week I will defo be making a point of going there more often. I saw a 24 pack of crisps which were a complete rip off of Walkers, same flavours and everything for £1.99, the equivilant Walkers has been on offer for £3 in Mr M's which I thought I was getting a bargain!
Livvy, thanks for popping in! £80 just for one day??!!! I did see Jamie, love him and could watch him all day long. Im planning on curry for my leftover turkey! Ive been on the C4 website today printing off the hot choc and waffles recipe and the semifreddo one!!
Right off to do some surveys, one day left at work before the madness begins!!!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -

Morning diary,
A quite chilled mummytogirls this morning. Got quite a bit to do in terms of housework and seeing people but its all good and will get done. Theres nothing life or death!!
Im going to go make a cuppa in a mo, then this is my plan of action for today:- Get a shower and get girls sorted
- 3 loads of washing to catch up on since I ran out of washing powder and refused to buy more til I did the supermarket shop
- Sister coming round in about an hour
- Friend coming round and taking us out for lunch - 11.30am
- Appt with the nurse - 2.30pm
- Tidy the house, although this really is tomorrows job
- Evening out with the girls (driving to save money and a sore head tomorrow)
Everything is bought, wrapped and written. Did the Morrisons shop last night and spent £78 so £8 over budget. Then got petrol aswell and a sneaky chinese for DH and I on the way home!!
Came home, wrapped up the final bits I had bought ie socks for Mums DH with a glass of wine whilst watching Without You on ITV.
DH brought home a bottle of white and red wine the other night that he had been given as a present from work. I kept the white for myself and gave the red to my friend :rotfl:. Hes also under strict instructions to win the best bits of the raffle at work today :rotfl:!! I do amuse myself at times.
Anyway, best get on, will go put a load of washing on, whilst making a cuppa. Multitasking at its best ! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
