Scotland is such a beautiful place but being meant for warmer climes would not suit me up North at all - I gravitate towards the south as it seems to get the warmer weather. Weather forecast said it is heading our way though so we will right back with you by tomorrow or wednesdayJust keep swimming!0

I love Scotland and being Scottish but the weather really gets me down. I cry pretty much every day from around mid November to early March. It is so cold. I don't have the option to move anywhere else though. Oh well, that's what summer holidays are for, looking forward to the good weather! :cool:Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Afternoon Diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up.
Itsa and Gap, im not a fan of the colder weather either. The darker days definately affect me too!!
Well I didnt manage to get any washing out as its been raining on and off today, had to put it in the TD this morning .
I suspect the TD will be getting used more and more up to the heating being put on now.
The house will still warm so I dont think we are near to putting the heating on just yet. Weve slept with our bedroom window open for over a week now!!
Popped into town at lunch for mil birthday present. She wanted PJ's and slippers from Primark, so thats what she got!! Only cost me £12.40 :T.
Popped into card factory and bought a card for a party DD's invites to for 79p woohoo!! Also some batteries for DD's Wii remotes for £1. SO a successful trip.
Right best get off xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well its the 4th October and we are still not having to put the heating on :money:. I love it the more days that go by without it!!
It wasnt half dark when I came out of work last night at 5pm, plus it was blowing a right gale so it felt wintry.
Well since theres nothing much going on on the money front, its all the same old every day! I thought id turn my attentions to losing a few lb's!
Id been really good over the summer swimming and aerobics but havent been able to commit recently with work etc and its fallen by the wheyside. That coupled with the fact that I know ive eaten a right load of rubbish is making me feel sluggish. So ive started using the my fitness pal app on my phone and last night I did 10 mins on the xtrainer and 20 mins on the Wii fit. So watch this space!!!
Nothing other than that to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Mummy, I have just downloaded the my fitnes pal app too, more to use as a diet tracker but so far it seems fab. I would like to lose about a stone but just can't stop sticking rubbish in my gobJust keep swimming!0

Hi Mummy
The heating is still off in our house and I even wore a t-shirt round the house last night - very unChoo like. I really feel the cold though so not looking forward to when it does start to get really cold xx0 -
Hi mummytogirls, I too need to get back on the fitness and healthy eating!! I have 6lbs of the baby weight left to loose before I get back to my pre-baby weight!! Actually thats pre-babies weight, even tho my DD is four and a half, I didn't loose all the weight I put on with her!
Have you tried the Graze box? I got my first one today, only did it because you got quidco cashback and the first one is free, I intend to cancel the subscription to it, but there is a little leaflet enclosed with other things you can get from them, which you could make up into little tubs yourself.
Not enjoying the darker nights either I have to say! Plus in the mornings its feels soooo wrong to get up while it is still dark lol!

Morning Diary,
Nothing really to report just popping in!! Working from home today and just about to make a cuppa.
Well it seems we are all similar, not putting the heating on and should really be going for a run to shed a few lb's :rotfl:!!
Worked last night and it wasnt my night for exercise anyway! Will do some this evening once the kids are in bed.
Chicken kievs, roast potatoes and veg for tea tonight.
Most of the DD's have gone out and all the debt repayments have been made.
Roll on payday 3 weeks todayxx

Hi Mummy,
You are doing so well with your heating. I was freezing tonight and put my dressing gown on...this is a big thing for me as I am always cold and normally stick the heating on, praps my body will become accustomed.
