  • Thanks everyone, thought your all mummies so can cope with it haha!!

Well DD is much better today, still got a cold but shes well in herself so shes at playgroup this morning. Im working from home and its a bloody good job as my rotary airer in the garden has just died... RIP airer :(!!

Its literally just blown over, I was sat in the dining room on my laptop watching it happen. So ive propped it up for the moment with the little trampoline :rotfl:. I will get these 2 loads dry today.
A bit gutted that after these loads have been brought in its going to have to be thrown out.
Heyho ive had 4 years out of it and its not the most expensive. Just gutting when its going to be nice all week and I wont get pegged out!

Bank accounts looking lovely! DH gets paid Friday so that will look even nicer... until the DD's go out Monday.

Right thats about all from me! Catch up soon xx

Oh dear - RIP to the rotary airer

Glad DD is feeling abit better, I always send my 2 in with colds, they have to be practically dying before they get a day off school (sickness is always a stay at home day) but anything else and in they go. The school would always ring if they were really ill and TBH they've probably caught the germs from school anyway so they might as well share them round abit more :rotfl:

Hope you have a good work from home day xx
  • Morning Diary,

Nothing at all to report... just popping in to say hi :D.

Need to go pay the deposit for DD's party today, which will be around £30, this is budgetted for.

DD is going to my friends today and im going into the office. Its going to go quick in there this week since ive only been working from home 2 days.

Just checked for quidco and its still being tracked .

Cant believe its October on Saturday! x

  • Hello Diary,

How lovely is this weather we are experiencing! Hope it continues and then we wont need the heating on for another few weeks, going way past my target of 1st October :j.

I am absolutely gutted my airer broke as I could have had some washing out today :(. So my plan is to wash the pinks and have them strewn round the house tomorrow morning after breakfast in the house hot spots and get them dry that way!! I will not use the TD in this weather :rotfl:!!!

    Hope everyones ok xx

  • Hi mtg, weather is wonderful isn't it, i filled the line with clothes this morning and then hung more stuff on hangers and hooked them onto various items around the garden, i hooked aload of shirts and tops all around the netting on the trampoline:rotfl:, my neighbours will think i'm crazy.
  • Woohoo Pennywise, I love your ideas!!!

Well DH has done a bodge job on the airer!! Hacked the bottom broken bit off and its now fit for use again :j. Its a bit smaller than it should be buts it fine for these next few weeks then we will get rid of it!!
I have the pinks in as we speak!! xx

  • Hello! Just thought I would pop in and say hello! Glad to hear you got the airer fixed enough to use, would have been a shame to waste these lovely days for drying! I quite often have my "whirly" one in the garden full, and if its really nice and I've loads of washing to do, I just take the clothes horse outside too and get it dried on there.

Its fantastic being able to leave the heating off, we've even slept with the bedroom windows open for the last two nights, plus I walked my DD to nursery this morning with a short sleeved t-shirt on, I'm normally always covered up with a jacket or a hoody or something!

Off to pick her up again soon, hope you are having a good day!
  • Morning diary,

the weather is absolutely glorious today, looking it!

Thanks for popping in Mummy and CwC, im glad were all happy that we can keep the heating off longer!!

Well I got DD's summer dress back out for school today. DD2 has gone off to playgroup in a dress and sandals!! Its mad thats its nearly October and we are dressing like this. Not complaining though!!

    Right catch up soon xx
