  • Morning Diary,

Glad its Friday as im so sure others are too .

DH told me this morning that its Autumn Equinox today so that means darker nights and mornings from now on... hate winter and darkness :(.

So the plan for this weekend since the weather is dry is to try and get some washing dry outside. I think it might be a bit too cold though.
I have noticed it so chilly outside but our house is still lovely and comfortable. We have big windows at the back which is South facing and the sun beams in and warms the rooms up. I reckon by next weekend we will have the heating on though.

Just the weekend to get through before payday. Have food in its just a few bits such as milk, bread and yoghurts for the kids I need to buy. Enough fruit etc in then the shopping will come Monday.

Right best get off and do the girls hair before school xx

  • Have a good day.
  • Evening diary,

All chilled out in our house. I jumped in the bath then the kids decided they were getting in with me ! So were all bathed and ready for bed.
DH is in bed with manflu .

This weekends plan is a major chillout. Im so tired with all the running around I just need to calm down a bit!
Will just potter around and go out when we need to! I will need to get some more bread and milk etc but will nip to Tesco Express for those things.

Have got a load of washing with includes DD's uniform which il put on tonight and get pegged out tomorrow.

Ive just offered to babysit the neighbours kids. Shes helped me out with picking DD up from school so its the least I can do. Plus DH's is in bed anyway!

    Catch up soon xx

  • Thanks both, you have lovely weekends too.

Well the washing is out. Its quite chilly out today but blowing a breeze and the sun is shining so fingers crossed it will dry. Ive only done one load as ive only got a rotary airer and if you put too much on on days like these it doesnt all dry.

DH is feeling a bit brighter today. Ive had a runny nose for over a week but its not turned more sinister.

Ive got to nip into the next town today with some training material for work. Will do that on the way to DD's swimming lesson as its nearby there anyway. Then I will nip to Tesco express on my way back and then we will be in for the night I would imagine.

Ive got some chicken out for tea and will make it into goujons with wedges and salad I think.

The kids and DH are laid on the spare bed watching Harry Potter so im going to make a cuppa and watch Saturday Kitchen at 10am!!

Think thats all from me, catch up soon xx

  • Glad to hear you are managing to keep the germs at bay hope it stays that way.

Saturday Kitchen for me as well. I am partial to a glass of wine but I do wonder how they manage to take a mouthful at 10 in the morning!!

  • Morning diary,

Well what a rubbishy day, day in the house in order making it NSD11 :j! Plus we are low on petrol aswell, the light hasnt come on yet but it all makes it better since paydays not until tomorrow.

Dh has just cooked us a breakfast, so that will serve as lunch aswell. Him and the kids have already had cereal earlier on.

Ive invited my dad round for tea tonight. I felt sorry for him as hes only got £20 to his name as his clutch went on his car last week. I did invite him over before I found this out id like to point out :rotfl:!! He has got savings but they are absolute emergency so he hasnt really only got £20!
Were having freezer surprise for tea! Got loads of bits that need using up in there. So ive got my dad and DH kievs out, il have a chicken lattice thing and il find something for the girls. Then il use up last weeks veg :money:. Blackberry and apple crumble from the freezer also defrosting for pudding.
Ive also got a chicken breast out to roast for sandwiches tomorrow.

Fuzzy, do you reckon those on Saturday Kitchen will have up mega early though?!

I caught up on my ironing last night but I need to put that away. Might aswell do that later when I get their stuff out for tomorrow.
Will save my washing for the heat wave we are supposed to be having later on in the week :).

Right I think thats about it from me! Catch up soon xx

    Hi Mummy

Glad you've kept the germs at bay. I couldn't face a glass of wine at 10am either , even for me that would be pushing it! 12pm maybe but definitely not any earlier.

I'm saving my washing for the heatwave as well, and I've even delayed changing the duvets over to winter duvets in preparation for our couple of days of summer.

Sounds like you've got a very MSE dinner planned for this evening, enjoy your day xxx
  • Morning Choo, great minds and all that for the washing! It had better not disappoint now!! Im working from home Tuesday so will get 2 loads done for then. At least then im around if the weather turns.
