I understand how your dad feels as it is the clutch on my car that is away too. Getting that fixed this week (finally) but don't know what the total bill will be yet. I kept some money aside from the MOT but I'm not convinced it will be enough :(

Poor DD2. Hope she is feeling better soon (((hugs)))

  • Sorry to hear DD is not well - its horrible when they are sick (I am also not very good with sick at all!).

At least you have a surprising day off when the weather is good - line dried bedding :D
    Just keep swimming!
  • Aww poor DD. Hope she feels better very soon. Thank the lordy for calpol I say!

  • Hi Everyone,

Thanks for DD's well wishes. Shes just watching teletubbies eating a sandwich. Shes not been sick again so im assuming that its due to the amount of phlegm (sorry if anyones eating!) on her chest from her cold.

Shes been really good actually and has been laid on the sofa all morning watching TV so ive been able to do some work.

Gap, she had calpol in the night when she was burning up.

Youve just reminded me Id better write a note to get some more as I think were running low on both that and nurofen. Cant be running out at this time of year!

Well my bedding seems to be drying nicely and ive also got my quilt out on the patio draped over 2 dining chairs! DH had it in the bath scrubbing it at 5am!

Ive updated my signature for this month. It hasnt gone down as much as id have liked but weve actually had a bit extra added onto one of the CC's with the balance transfer fee. Still going down though which is still good!

Think thats about all from me so far! Catch up soon xx

  • Hi MTG - glad to hear DD has improved and is managing to eat. I was literally taking a bite out of my sandwich as I read your post - luckily being a mum I have a strong stomach ;)

Glad to hear the debt is still going down. I am itching to get to Thursday when it's payday and I can report paying something off.

  • Hi Mummy,
Hope DD gets better soon, do you buy the fake calpol from Boots or Tesco, I do as its just the same and half the price.

At least you had a nice day off work to catch up with jobs, I had a day off today too as MIL is on holiday so no babysitter...same old story! I figured a holiday from work would save on nursery fees.
