  • Hi Mummy,
I am not surprised you're furious, esp at this time of night when you can't even pop out and get something for tomorrows lunches.

Do you normally have Mr A deliver or Mr T? I have heard alot of bad reports about Mr A's deliveries so have always stuck with Mr T, I hope you can get your money back and something extra on top for the inconvenience.

  • I was really cross with Next the other day, I bought a pair of boots and was promised that they would be in store for Monday afternoon. I drove all the way there yesterday (10 miles each way) and was told they had not arrived and they hadnt been sent from the depot.

Such poor customer service from Mr A's. I still can't quite my head around home delivery as I tend to try and only buy things that are on offer and there always seems to be more in the store (or the yellow labelled stuff!) :p

    Morning diary,

I am back and slightly calmer this morning . Woke up at 3am with a banging head so I need to calm myself down really!!
My phone line started worked again last night so I managed to call them and explain why I was so cross. They completely understood, said it wasnt acceptable and are refunding me some of the stuff and have sent me a free delivery voucher. Hopefully someone will call me too as I think I deserve more comp!!!

Livvy, I have to say ive used Asda and only had the odd hiccup, nothing like this. Ive had royal run ins with Mr T too, so I try and avoid them if possible!! Maybe its me hahaha!!!

Itsa, I hope you gave Next what for !! The the yellow sticker items, when I first started trying to keep costs down there was never anyone hanging round that area. Now people are crowded round getting the best bargains so that doesnt seem to work for me anymore :(.

Well still no quidco , I may email them on the 13th as by then it will have been 6 months.
We havent used the heating yet but have had to use the TD which isnt too bad.

Bank accounts looking ok, payday 2 weeks today woohoo :j xxx

  • Thats bad about Asda Glad they have given you a slight refund! Ive had nothing but problems when ever i get a delivery from Asda so have given up on them!! (Did give up once before but gave in and ordered 2 more times and both were rubbish!!!) Think it really depends on who is packing your order up aswell to what subs you get etc!

Well done on not putting the heating on yet!! We had it on the other day as it was soooo cold but havent this week yet! Im tempted to put it on just to dry some washing as its taking soooooo long for things to dry at the moe and im trying to potty train dd3 which is making loads of washing!!

  • Thanks Mummy. Ive got a free delivery so might use that and just do a £25 shop and then sack them off. Its too much stress!!
Hope DD3 potty training is going well. I was dreading it with DD2 but she was fine from the offset.

Well im off again with DD2, shes just been in the bath to wash sick out of her hair :(. Now shes got clean pj's on is laid on the sofa watching the gruffalo.
I am sooooo tired, still not caught up from my bad sleep last week when I wasnt well.

Nothing to report really! Its looking miserable out today, still no heating though its still warm in the house. Going to have to put the TD on soon though to dry DD's bedding. How lucky is this.. I had 2 wash loads to do yesterday but didnt do them. Ive 2 loads of sicky bedding to go in and only enough washing powder to do these. Its like I sensed I wouldnt have enough washing powder if id done the other 2 loads yesterday!!
So DH is going off to Tesco's at lunchtime to buy more washing powder, antibacterial spray etc!

    Catch up soon xx

  • Me again!

Well my hands stink of bleach now! As soon as my 2 start with sickness I get super paranoid and start bleaching everything in sight. So thats the worktops, sink, dining table and chairs, door handles and light switches downstairs and all toilets. Only have 1 pair of rubber gloves which are used for the bathroom so had to use my bare hands .

Once DH gets home with the antibacterial im going to spray all the bed too!!

Right shes watching Toy Story 3 so best try and get on xx

Aww mummy, what a shame! Your hands will be raw. Hope DD is feeling better soon. I hate it when LM is unwell, I just feel so helpless as a mother :(

I have never used Mr A's for delivery. I usually use Mr S (3 times anyway) and I have never had a problem with them. I know they are slightly more expensive but you can choose if you don't want something substituted (everything in my case). I used Mr T the last time and there was one substitute which wasn't suitable but the guy was really helpful and told me what had been substituted and was more than happy to take it back for me (it was not suitable).

    Are you feeling better now?

    xx

Morning Diary, cant believe its yet another Monday. These weeks really are flying by.
Had a pretty MSE weekend :money:. NSD4 on Saturday, took DD to her swimming lesson and visited my dad. Then we had freezer surprise for tea :D. Yesterday I spent £14 in the local farmshop on a few bits of meat, milk, bread and veg (since Mr A delivered me none!). That was all I spent yesterday. We all went for a walk and to the park to blow away the cobwebs. Then I cooked a roast chicken and all the trimmings it was delicious.

Today its back to work once ive dropped DD at school. Weve managed to get rid of the sickness, fingers crossed it stays away.

Gap, ive done a camparison shop with Mr S and its a lot more expensive. Ive decided im going to just to just do it myself from now on. Not worth the stress.

Itsa, My 2 seemed worse when they were younger tbh. Theyve both gone to playgroup, a bit like a nursery so used to bugs! DD2 takes an age to shift a cold though, but always has.

Well weve still not put the heating on. I think we should get away with it this week as were all out at work and once weve got the oven on it warms up quickly downstairs. I leave the oven on cooking tea obviously (jacket pots or something)! whilst I go pick DH up so in theory the house should be warm by the time we get back in the house. By next weekend I bet weve got it on though. Thats a whole 3 weeks longer than expected so im over the moon with that. At least then I can stop using the TD.

Right best get the final bits sorted for work and get off! Catch up soon. Happy Monday everyone  xx
