Hello diary!
Just popping in for a quick catch up! Popped to the local retail park after school to buy a few birthday presents for up and coming parties! Got a little boy and by DD Junior Monopoly from Argos, it was less than half price at £7.49. Hide to slyly hide DD's in the bag as she was with me!!
Then popped to Asda for another, got a remote control car for £6 which I didnt think was bad. Received my £4 change back in £2 coins so thats been added to the total now.
There is something wrong with my laptop charger and it keeps stopping charging. Getting p!ssed off with it!!
No heating tonight as it was warm in the house when we got home. Im sat here in a short sleeved top.
Bolognaise and garlic bread for tea with enough for DH's lunch tomorrow.
Pinks wash is in the washer ready to be hung on the radiators.
Looked for DD2 a new hat and glove set from Asda but couldnt find them. Must have been fate as when I got home and looked in the under stair cupboard I found a brand new Peppa Pig one in there from my not MSE days obviously :money:. Its lovely and DD2 absolutely loves Peppa and its even got a scarf too!!!
Right think thats about all from me. Best do some work.

Hi Mummy
They sound like lovely presents and good bargains as well xx0 -
Morning diary,
TFI Friday! Although saying that this week has gone really fast actually.
Nothing to report, will update my survey positions from work when I get there.
Am loving getting a load dry on the radiators, plus because they are only on the heat for about 1 hour they dont go hard like you might expect and ironing is really easy. Just caught up with my ironing and put it all away. Thats 2 sets of DD's uniform ready for after half term.
Curry for tea tonight and ive got the chicken out already. DH has asked for some naan bread so will pop to the local Sainsburys near work. If they dont have any he will have to make do with the pittas weve got in the freezer already.
Right best get off and do DD's hair for school. Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi Mummy
We're having curry tonight as well!
I have a constant battle with DD every morning about her hair, she always appears 5 minutes before we're due to leave for school with unbrushed hair and demanding some Vidal Sassoon creation. I can just about manage bunches, ponytail or plaits with the time constraints!
Enjoy your evening xxx0 -
Hi Choo,
Well my DD is only nearly 5 so we dont have any of that at the moment!!
Curry was delicious.
Well im very impressed with myself! The kids have got a party over the weekend and the theme is pirates. Ive spent £3 on eye patches and made the rest myself!! Im really impressed hahaha!!!
Have a lovely weekend all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hey ladies, curry was on the menu with us too tonight lol! Was deeelish!
Well done on the party costumes mummytogirls, sounds fab and MSE all at the same time!
My DD's "thing" just now with her hair is wanting it curled with the GHD's and shes only four. I keep saying that she can get that done for special occasions as I am not a morning person, and seriously have just enough time to do the essentials of a morning!
Hope you have a good weekend, I'm aiming for a No Spend Weekend..... don't actually have anything to spend as payday is Tuesday, so shouldn't be too hard lol!0 -
Morning diary, just about to get the kids bathed and ready for their party.
DH has just gone back to bed for a little snooze and ive not long got up... must have needed it!
Nothing too exciting to report. My Halifax statement came today so ive added the total onto my spreadsheet and will update on my signature once ive made the payments next week. This one only has a small balance on but I still only pay £4 a month off the balance when the interest has gone back on... so annoying !
CwC, how do you curl hair with GHD's, do you wrap it round or something? Ive quite fancied doing that but couldnt work out how to do it :rotfl: it never worked for me!!
Good luck with your no spend weekend!!
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummytogirls, yes you can either start at the top of the section of hair and sort of twist the straighteners round in spirals as you pull them down through the hair, or you can start at the bottom and wrap the hair around the straighteners until you get to the top and then when you open them at the top you have a nice bouncy curl! I'm sure my sister said there were videos on how to do it on youtube - her curls are always better than mine!
No Spend Weekend is going well, went to the park with a friend yesterday then back to her for a cuppa, and today doubt I will be out the house so should manage.
Hope you're having a good weekend!0 -
Good Afternoon diary,
Hmmm what to report! Well im having a lazy Sunday which is nice. Sent DH and the kids out to Tesco Express for a few bits earlier which saved me going!
Ive just listed 5 items on ebay. To be honest im not expecting them to sell as they are old hats and mittons that the kids havent even worn and a pair of DD2's old jeans but we will see. In the past things ive not expected to sell have so we will see next week.
CwC, I tried curling my hair last night and it did not turn out right haha!! Will check out the video on youtube.
Just going to catch up with some surveys whilst im on here, im on the main PC upstairs as I cant be bothered faffing with the charger on the laptop. Its quite nice to get some peace actually :rotfl:. DD1 and DH are watching Goonies downstairs and DD2 is laid in my bed watching Peppa. So as is well.... for now!!!!
Il update my survey positions in a bit xxMummytogirls x0
