    Good Morning diary,

Well ive finally got round to updating my figures and weve now paid off over 35% :j! Im really pleased but still cannot wait until the loan is paid off in February so that we can have a little bit of money to ourselves. The original plan was to put the loan payment into the credit card payments but I personally think we need a bit of slack and something for ourselves.

Im hoping today will be a NSD (no 7 I think). Ive got some soup in the fridge at work and ive brought fruit and mini cheddars to work with me. Plus theres biscuits in the tin at work if I feel the need for a snack!

DH is off at home with the kids today. They go back to school on Monday.

Right best get on! Catch up soon xx

Iceland do 4 rolls for a pound. And they're 3 ply whereas many of the more expensive ones are only 2 ply.

  • lol at all this talk about loo roll! :) At the moe im going through it soooooo fast DD3 is potty training and seems to think the fun part is using the loo roll!! :)

Bet you cant wait for feb and the loan to finish! It will be good to give you a little more money to play with and find things a little easier. I find when things are too tight you are more likely to have a relapse and going on a spending spree (well thats me lol)

    Have a good weekend x

    Morning diary,

Just popping in for a little catch up!

Friday was NSD7 (i think its 7 will check my diary!).

Yesterday I made a bit of money by filling in for my sister in this shop she works at. But then that was spent at a wedding reception we were invited to last night. Spent £20 including a bottle of wine for the Bride and Groom so not bad really for a family of 4. DH said the beer was going down nicely.. hes not much of a drinker! I stuck to soft drinks and drove us back home.

Today will be a medium spend day. Going to pop out to Mr T and buy a pumpkin carving set and a few bits for DDs party bags.

DH started on the house yesterday but only cleaned downstairs so theres upstairs to be done too.

This afternoon will be DH and the kids carving the pumpkins and then im going to let them cut up the argos books and sick pictures onto their list for Santa.

Mummy, the kids get giddy with the toilet roll dont they!
Oh my dress arrived yesterday and it fit perfectly. Will definately buy from them again I am very impressed.

Right off to catch up with some others xx

    Hello diary,

Just popping in for a little catch up. Went to Mr T's and didnt get any party bag stuff. DH invited friends over for tea whilst we were in there.. q spending £10 on food and pudding . We actually spent £20 but most of that was more supplies for DD's cake. Never mind its only £20 and it will be nice to see them.

We bought some nice kievs and we will serve with roast pots and veg, DH is downstairs doing the roasts now. Im making a fresh cauliflower cheese which im already looking forward to. Weve bought cheesecake and profiteroles and fresh cream for pudding.

Anyway, just done the meter readings. I didnt think we would have used as much tbh as weve only had the heating on for an hour in a morning and thats been drying clothes as well. £47.22 for 17 days which equates to about £2.77 per day! We are now £94 in credit with £98 due to go in Tuesday so just short of £200 which I think is pretty good just going into winter. Really want the credit to be higher but with the weather getting colder its just not possible.. I will not freeze! If I was totally skint then it might be a different matter..

Right best go crack on with my cheese sauce xx

    Morning diary,

Just popping in before work! Such a dreary day today but strangely warm. Weve not had the heating on this morning, I even had to take my dressing gown off as I was too warm!

Thanks for popping in Pennywise and Livvy, tea was lovely and everyone enjoyed it. So yes it was a success. It was nice to see them and nice to have someone over as its not something we often do.

Nothing else to report! November tomorrow  xx

  • Hi Mummy, glad to hear things are going well.

Just out of interest, which energy company are you with that means you can do your meter readings so often. I am with BG and it is so complicated. I have to provide a reading once a quarter but then working out what that will spit put as a figure is impossible as the first so many units are so many pence, the next so many units are another figure etc.
    Just keep swimming!
