  • I have resorted to putting an airer clothes thingy up in the conservatory to try and not use the tumble dryer. I used to tumble dry everything and therefore nothing needed ironing, but Mr Itsa went on t'interweb and worked out (don't ask how....) that everytime I use the tumble dryer it costs nearly a pound. So that incentive keeps me going trying to wash and dry without it. I only have one DD though so I would imagine families with multiple children must struggle when the weather is pants.

Really pleased your OH's job is now sorted. Must be a big relief! :-)
    Just keep swimming!
  • Hi - Barclaycard was approved with requests for balance transfers on the 30th August, card was activated on the 1st Sept and first balance transferred on the 6th. Seemed to me an eternity ;)

Day or so after applying for the card did get a voicemail left asking me to call them and had to go through an automated security check to authorise a transfer. DS listened to message and nearly deleted as thought it was odd sales call!

Congrats on DH having the courage to hand in notice - does he want to do something different - I gather he wasn't happy but is that with company or job - sorry mtg have not managed to read through entire diary hope I have that right :o

  • Hi Mummy,
Well done to OH getting rid of horrble old job and payrise in new job. No more moody mornings.

Men are pains with food. They suddenly go off things that they have been eating for months too.

Hope you get to celebrate all your good news at the weekend.

  • Morning diary,

What another rubbish day! No washing to be pegged out here today. I have done 4 loads so far this week all of which have gone in the TD. Usually I do far more washes than that, maybe I just wash for the sake of pegging out when I actually dont need to !!

Well part of my quidco has been confirmed.... 32p from Dominos :rotfl:!!
My payout threshold is £10 so I really need the other one from home insurance to hurry the hell up and confirm.

Need to register my debit card with them too as certain places will track when you have spent instore too.

Hmmmm dont think ive anything else to report really. Woke up with a bit of a cold today, bloody weather!
Really need to catch up with my surveys as have been mad busy this week to do them. Will probably do that tomorrow.

    Catch up soon xx
