  • Good Morning Diary,

Nothing too exciting to report just popping in for my daily catch up!!

Yesterday afternoon I sorted through my old handbag and removed all the old rubbish and transferred everything into my new one!

I also wanted to mention that I bought some boots essential moisturiser and eye make up remover. I am very impressed as they were so cheap and it means I can have everything I want just in cheaper brands :D.
Have got a bit of my sanctuary toner left so once thats gone il use my boots points to buy some more toner. Also forgot to mention that I was given a £5 off no7 voucher yesterday so going to pop in tomorrow on my lunch to pick up a nail varnish :T.

    So todays jobs include!

Filing all my receipts that came out from emptying my purse yesterday.
Clean the bathrooms before friend arrives.
Cook steak bake (using left over beef and pastry from freezer).
General get ready for back to work tomorrow.

Ive got a load of pinks which I am wanting to peg out but leaving it a bit yet as the washing line and grass are all wet.

Think thats about all from me, catch up soon xx

  • Morning MTG, steak bake sounds yummy.
Also have a pile of washing to get dry, rained all day solid yesterday, blue sky is peeping through the clouds so hopefully its going to brighten up.
  • Morning Pennywise, it brightened up in the afternoon here and I managed to get mine mostly dry just stuck in the TD for 20 mins.

Last night I ended up getting out of bed after 12 and opening the window as it was soooo stuffy. Hopefully we can keep the central heating off even longer?! Im hoping we can keep it off longer than 27th Sept as that was the date we caved in last year!! xx

  • Good Afternoon diary,

Just bobbing in whilst tea cooks!!

Well today is NSD2 :j. Took the kids and dog for a walk after lunch and took some money incase of an ice-cream van as there sometimes is one. No ice-cream van so had one at home instead.

Brought my washing in which dried woohoo!! Also its now ironed and ready to be put away after tea.

Kids meals and snacks are all ready and in the fridge ready for tomorrow.

Was just popping on as ive a load of darks to go in but looks like its going to rain here tomorrow on and off so no point in pegging out. Will probably use the TD and then hold off the washing until the back of the week until it brightens up again (looks that way on BBC 5 day forecast).

Right off to catch up with some diaries and surveys.

Then tea and shower and chill time :D xx

  • Still have bright sunshine here, have washing pegged out on the line and have hung a load on hangers and have hooked them over chairs, kids slide and swings, anywhere in the garden that they will dry:rotfl:, determined to get it all dried today ready to iron tomorrow.
  • I am feeling slightly ashamed as I have to confess I use my tumble drier all year round. I hate ironing so smooth and fold as soon as things are dry. My electricity bills don't seem too high - about £40 per month.

Before the tumble drier the ironing pile would be so high I couldn't see over the top of it. And on more than one occasion the stuff was so heavily creased I stuck it back into wash again  I actually find it easier to keep on top of the washing and we can get away with fewer clothes - though I do have to buy slightly bigger to allow for shrinkage ;)
    :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

    NSD 1/10
  • Morning diary,

well how the weather has changed, I definately made the right decision re not putting the washing out as its chucking it down here.

Havent set off to work yet, DH got a lift in so im just doing some work from home before getting the kids ready and dropping them off around 10am. I was off last week so im just going through my emails as you can imagine my inbox is full to capacity ! Ive got a very busy 2 weeks so I may be a bit quiet.

Fuzzy, you just have to do what evers easiest for you. It does take a lot of effort planning to get the washing out at the right time etc!! Ive not had a problem with creases. My meter readings have shown around £55 a month for both gas and electricity recently which I think it pretty good. The TD usually increases mine by around £5 a week !

Dont think ive anything else to report!! Catch up soon xx

  • Morning diary,

What on earth has happened to the weather?! The wind actually woke me up in the night, its hideous out there today!

Nothing too exciting to report. Still no toluna or quidco, ive just emailed toluna as I requested my voucher over 9 weeks ago. They did this last time aswell and as soon as I complained the voucher was there very quickly after.

DD is back at school tomorrow so tonight will be spent getting everything ready for tomorrow. All her uniform is ironed and name tagged etc just want to get everything out and then her PE kit and book bag sorted.
I do hope the weather isnt like this or else she will be walking to school in her wellies never mind her new school shoes!

DH and I have leftover pasta bake for todays lunch. Need to pop and get some milk and do a bit of a top up shop today. Yesterday was NSD3 woohoo!!

Think thats about all from me! Hope your all ok xx
