Thank you Gap x
Just been doing some jiggery pokery with my spreadsheet and it looks like October next year those 2 credit cards will be paid off.
Cant believe that this time next year I will only hopefully have around £6k of debt. That will feel so easy to shift in comparison to £20k+!
We certainly have come through the hard part now, just need DH to be sorted with work and we are well on our way :T xxxMummytogirls x0 -
Wow will be lovely when you only have 6k off debt
Good news on the cc limit. I see they offer a good 22mths 0% at the moe so might have to see if DH can get it for BT....
Glad to have the really hard bit out the way for youand hope DH sorts the work thing out soon, my DHs work have been up to morw rubbish again today

Really sorry to hear your DH is having trouble too. My DH text me earlier telling me hes really fed up. I dont like to put too much on here just incase but im hoping things go to plan.
Has your DH thought anymore about what he might do??
My DH is so stressed in a morning its untrue. I can almost feel the tension coming off him!
I was trying to look back at my diary to see how I was feeling this time last year but I didnt post much then as I didnt want DH finding my diary and only posted from work!!! Cant believe how much things can change in a year xxxMummytogirls x0 -

Well the kids are absolutely shattered now after a 2 hour play out after tea! Might aswell make the most of it before Autumn arrives.
Had a really nice chicken curry for tea (homemade) and DH and I had a beer too!! Its not something we do really but we enjoyed it.
Was going to do the supermarket this evening but feeling too chilled after my beer do will do it tomorrow on the way back from town. This makes today NSD1 woohoo!!
Got both loads dry today and out bedding is back on. Love fresh bedding, cant wait for bed now!!
Already done a load for tomorrow and im planning on washing the kids bedding tomorrow and getting that line dried too.
Been invited to a BBQ tomorrow which means a free tea :T!!
Now the kids are in bed going to catch up Celebrity Juice with DH!!! xxxMummytogirls x0 -
I have found your diary but I have a lot of catching up to do!
Went off earlier to pour myself a glass of wine from the 'silver bag of pleasure' I had extracted from the winecube Mr A delivered and I had put in the freezer to chill only to find it had turned to Wine Slush Puppie and wouldn't dispense
By the time I had run the tap under hot water and a glass had slowly drizzled out DD had hijacked laptop and was browsing ASOS
So hoping to find some time over the weekend to catch up on your journey so far:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Morning Mummy,
Aw thats brilliant news about getting your debt paids off so quickly.
Its really funny because I don't eat many curries as not a big fan but really fancy one atm, think I will do a home made one now you have inspired me ha, I love chicken in the slow cooker too so might bung one in there...once I find a recipe!!!!
Hope the weather is nice for your BBQ, its a bit cold here today. I have some washing I need to do to get ready for tomorrows ebay listings so if it stays dry will peg it out.
Hope you enjoy a few drinks at the bbq to celebrate your new card. You never know this might be the start of good things, fingers crossed DH's situation changes for the best too....I hope so.

Good Morning diary,
A very happy mummy here this morning!! Been to town and bought myself lots of bargains with my birthday money.
Bought myself some boots, underwear, hangbag and make up! Boots have a fab offer on at the mo if anyone likes Max Factor. 2 for £13, the mascara alone was £12 and then I had a £2 off max factor mascara so actually got mascara and double ended smoky effect eyeshadow for £11 :T.
Took the kids money too which ive been keeping for their winter wardrobe fund and bought them both a pair of boots from Primarni. They usually get there shoes from Clarks but I just couldnt resist these!! They are very impressed and havent taken them off yet!!
Then went along to Morrisons and spent £27 in there, so all in all a very good day.
Fuzzy, wine slush puppy sounds quite interesting actually!!!
Hope I dont bore you to tears, its usually drivvle about what we are having for tea or how many loads im pegging out today :rotfl:!!
Livvy, I certainly will be having a drink tonight to celebrate. Bought some Koppaberg from Mr M's 3 for £5 . When I said homemade re the curry it was made using a jar so not technically homemade!! But not bought from the takeaway either :rotfl:.
Well the weather has turned today and my washing is currently getting a bit rained on! Its not too bad at the mo and it is quite windy so im going to leave it a bit and see what happens. Hope the BBQ is still on this evening as ive not planned anything for tea.
MBNA have updated the balance online so ive done the BT to Barclaycard. It should go through in 8 days, still will be avidly checking everyday.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I've only just started figuring out how to get around this web site! there is so much to learn!!!
Had a wee read of some of your diary entries, and well done you!!! What you've done is truly amazing, and now I have taken control of my family's spending and debt I hope to do just as well.
My husband and my debt at the mo stands at about £14500, between cars, loans, catalogues and cc. Can't wait to start seeing the balances go down now I've actually removed my head from the sand!!
Again well done you, some of us might actually make it through thias awful times with a smile on our face and change in our pocket xxxxxWhy worry about the little things, When you do the big things seem bigger :A0
